The location in Fontana has much better food and service, also if your going to open so late on Sunday's (1pm) at least open on time

Only thing good was the orange chicken... Noodles taste not fully cooked and a little bland. Egg roll was somewhat cold and very oily. Chicken wing was dry and tasteless ( need more seasoning). Service was ok ( give me food and leaves me there ) feels like a fast food stores instead of restaurant (unless that's what I am suppose to feel) price is cheap (only good thing I guess). Very large portions and good deal for the family dinners I got dinner b and fed 5 people expecting it to feed 3, I asked 2 more friends over and they ate what we 3 didn't and there was still some fried rice left and everyone was full... I can honestly say that their chow fun and chow mein are better than what I've been getting at Sam Woos BBQ in Alhambra! It's about time we got real Chinese food here! Yum! Me and my boyfriend come here frequently. The staff is always extremely nice and professional. The food is fresh and sooo good. The inside is always very clean and presentable. I've gotten both take out and dine in. The egg rolls are bomb and their noodles are delicious. I hope China One stays around because they are the best in the area! read more

For a fast food restaurant, this place is pretty good. Full portions, wide selections on the menu, and the food is freshly served. The owners are from China too so it's pretty legit, not Americanized. It's also super clean!! read more

I'm new in the neighborhood and after living in LA for many years and having a Chinese restaurant in every corner we had our favorite place to go. So far in Upland I think this place has a lot better taste than any of the surrounding Chinese restaurants. I like it but my husband doesn't, but he is more picky than I am! I'm so confused by the reviews, I didn't like it at all but was so hungry! Didn't taste fresh, soup tasted like tap water and wasn't hot, and noodles had an off taste... didn't taste like chow mein. Best Chinese food in Upland. Fast, friendly service. Fresh made to order dishes, several to choose from. Plenty of food for leftovers. I tried the Kung Pao Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken and vegetable chow mein. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the neighborhood for Chinese. read more

MOST PPL R USED TO FAST FOOD...HEAT LAMP CHINESE FOOD...We know authentic chinese food cuz we used to take long car rides into Chinatown in L.A. for authentic Chinese food, since finding China One we don't have to make the long ride anymore. read more

waaay overpriced for dinner. they don't do dinner combos so you have to order everything separately. my bill came out to $40 for dinner for two to go for fast food level chinese food. it's about the same amount & quality of food as two combos at a fast food chinese place which would usually charge $8 a combo which should be $16 plus tax which would $20 so i paid double what the food was worth. too bad i was starving & this was the closest chinese food place. if i had planned better, i should have stopped by the chinese food place by stater bros on central in montclair or just went out to eat & spent the $40 there. learned my lesson! never again ugh read more

Definitely a huge upgrade over typical Chinese take out. When you walk in, the first thing you will notice is no steam table behind the counter. Everything is made fresh when you order. Taste and quality is on par with full-service restaurants. Prices are reasonable and portions plentiful. read more

Wasn't happy at all. From the outside the restaurant looks like it is a high end restaurant. Went inside, very clean but when served was very disappointed. We ate there yet were served in to go boxes. Our drinks were in to go cups. It was the weirdest thing. The food wasn't that great. It isn't cheap yet the way the food was presented was. Too bad. This place is really good! It's very fresh and has tons of flavor. I got the orange chicken. Delicious. And their portions are huge for dinner, I couldn't even finish half! This place is my go to Chinese restaurant in Upland. The food is absolutely delicious and you get great portions.

The wonton soup is good. Don't waste your money on the teriyaki chicken or orange chicken, it's horrible!! Spent $20 on food and only the Rangoon were eaten, everything else was fed to my dogs. Won't go back again. Chow mein and steam rice isn't good either read more

Yes there is a difference between freshly prepared Chinese food and Chinese food that just sits under a hot lamp and is served up buffet style. If you prefer your Chinese food freshly prepared and price the same then you will like China One. I have had the Black Pepper Chicken and a garlic chicken plate and both are excellent. The service is top notch friendly and the restaraunt is always kept clean. I highly recommend this place, as far as Chinese food goes this is as good as it gets. read more

China One is another #1 place to go and eat some really good Chinese food. They have specials all the time. The menu is nice there's so many items to choose from. They've got chow fun, Mongolian, general chicken items, boba tea/drinks, soups, smoothies,and soo much more. I've been here numerous times and the people are so friendly they're really considerate. On a hot day I ordered to go and then I see the cashier handing out small cups of a smoothie to cool off and enjoy while waiting, that was generous and kind. In all the times being I have not once been disappointed. They cook there food just right (especially the shrimp). I recommend this restaurant to many.Hopefully China One gains more customers due to Bevmo's grand opening. China One is terrific! We found ourselves in Upland unexpectedly and needed to get dinner before we went home to Studio City. As transplanted NYCers, and frequent travelers to China, we are pretty snobby about Chinese food, and this is GOOD!! We got the Mapo Tofu, the Beef with Broccoli, Kung Pao Shrimp and Wonton Soup and everything was hot, fresh and delicious. And the portions are huge! Food I'll give 4 stars, cleanliness 3, customer service 1. I'll start by saying that our second visit was not as good as our first. The cashier was obviously preoccupied as we were the only ones ordering and I had to repeat my order twice. I asked for a lunch special #3, she asks "a la carte?" so I repeat lunch special #3. She gives me my total and when I asked if I could add two drinks, she all but rolled her eyes. If only she'd given me the chance to finish my order before rushing to take my money, nevermind I had to ask for our cups. When she brings out our order she brings one napkin and no forks.
