There was a great selection on the menu and we didn't have too long to wait to be served the very generous helpings. For a Saturday evening, the restaurant was very quiet but that's the way we like it. The food was pretty poor, overcooked vegetables, chips that were more like oven cooked wedges and my beer battered fish had the appearance of something you would pull out of a box from the frozen food aisle. Having worked as a chef in an award winning seafood restaurant I felt embarrassed for the owner that she thought it was acceptable. The restaurant states on their Facebook page to be an "Irish Restaurant", serving home cooked Irish food but their menu has a mixture of Italian, Indian, British and a couple of Irish dishes. The food was of pretty low standard and some might find this acceptable; for me it was just not acceptable to serve such poor quality food.
