While I appreciate that such an occasion is pressured, most of the waiting staff were surly and barged past diners. No "excuse me". The whole experience was claustrophobic and sadly detracted from reasonably good food.

Being in a poor-ish area the food is inexpensive and not as fatty and slimey as many other chinese take-aways. One or two of the dishes actually stand out as being exceptional. One, the beef in black bean sauce, was nothing like I would normally have expected. It was very simple, very tasty and with a real chilli kick to it. We also found that the prices have gone up a bit, We always did find that the chicken satay skewers are the best around other by blossom garden. We used to go to there open evens invite to customer's for free tasting on his new dishes that john done and they were nice. Good food but needs to have fresh chips and cut down on prices abit.
