Chili's in Tulare me an my husband went to go eat there for lunch most of the time we get good service with good food.But on Monday when we went we waited 10 minutes to get seated there was no host in front,an when she came up front she said oh wait I need to sweep under tables then we were seated..in a small table it was so dark..Waited again for 20minutes to get drinks,Then finely a waiter came got our drinks an ordered food my husband chili soup was cold..had to ask the waiter to warm it up then got our food..we were out of drinks so we stop eating waited 20 more minutes to get drinks then when I did my margarita was not tasteful at all..we were very unsatisfied with service we should have got a discount on our meals.. read more

Horrible Service-I have Celiac Disease and they got my order wrong twice. Both times they added a sweet sauce that caused blisters on my mouth and gave me a severe stomach ache. The second time I called them to let them know that the order was wrong again and the lady on the phone was extremely argumentative and was not listening to me at all. All that I ordered was very simple a piece of plain grilled chicken without any sauce or condiments and both times they made the chicken with a sweet sauce. read more

The family ordered mostly from the $8 lunch menu. My son and daughter ordered the chili side with the double burger, husband the bottomless lunch and I ordered the chicken lunch fajita. The chili lacked flavor and was quite greasy. When the two burgers arrived, both patties on each hamburger were charred and dry. I'm not going to purposefully knock off stars for a chain just because it's played out. I'm not going to lie either. I love Chili's. As far as carbon copy menus go, they keep there's the most consistent, and my favorite location by far is this one in Tulare. When I'm down visiting family, it's imperative to me that we find a good meal that satisfies all our eclectic tastes. Twenty pages+ of menu items, drink refills before you even take a sip, TV's at every angle and kiosks loaded with video games for the nephews are just a few of the many conveniences. Dig into their buffalo chicken sandwich or classic nachos and you've got yourself the best quality controlled meal in city limits. The service can be slow, but the food is always on point. read more

This looks like it is the local hangout for the young adults of this very small town because they don't have fuck-all-else to do as they try to escape the fact that Tulare is very small, and the aroma of cow poop is unavoidable. read more

Went here after the movies and worst service ever. Ordered a watermelon lemonade and she brought me a strawberry lemonade. Allergic to strawberries. Took about 45 minutes for our food to come out and it was old and cold. Didn't eat half of it when the waitress came by to see if we needed boxes. Told her no and we want the check. Manager came by and said that we complained about my steak being over cooked. Told her I didn't even cut into it and that the food was old and cold. We left paying for half the meal. Sorry to say, but this was s big fail. Went on a monday for lunch, the place was empty. Ordered the enchilada plate, and s burger. Food delivery was 27 min. The enchiada and rice were cold, the burger bun was soggy and fries were cold. We could see the kitchen and the waitress brought the food as soon as it came up. The fault was yhe kitchen. Manager was called and after excuses, replaced the enchilada plate. My burger was already gone so nothing there. The plate was removed froom yhe bill, but it took10min to ring up. read more

We decided to come here forgetting it was the day of the Ag Show for dinner. Big oops lol. To top it off there was seven of us. However our worries of a super long wait with ravenous appetites was quickly put at ease. Despite the heavy crowd we were seated within ten minutes. Now you may think, but hungry girl, how long did you wait for service? Not long at all. Our super awesome, super busy server was with us lickety split. I actually witnessed the poor girl running. She brought us out our drinks and took our orders. Our appetizers took a wee bit longer than usual, but hey with that crowd we understood. The southwestern egg rolls were yummy. The fried pickles, eh I've had better. The chili queso dip was our fave. I ordered my classic favorite from here. Original chicken crispers with a side of corn on the cob and loaded mashed potatoes. No complaints here. My husband enjoyed the fajita trio. He said the chicken and shrimp were good, but the steak was the best of the three for him. poor management.we called for reservations they dont do reservations so we went down we waited 1 hour and a half and when we asked how much longer despite there being empty tables all over we were told another 30 to 40 min but if your a friend or family or employee you get moved to the top of the list when we asked the manager she just shrugged it off and said it happens we left. others left in the time we waited it's only a matter of time before people go eat at visalia chili's or just quit eating at you establishment. We love the food and service at Chili's. I only give it 3 stars because the Music is so loud you can not visit while you eat. My dad enjoys going there but can never hear the conversation due to the music. We have asked it to be turned down and they say they will but it has not happened as of yet. read more

After waiting an 1hr 32 minutes for our order and people sat down 30 minutes after us and they got there food before us my chicken came out raw and my brother in laws sirloin came out bleeding. Not a great experience from the beggining. 2:50 pm on a Monday. Party of two, we walk in waitress looks our way, no greeting/smile or anything. We waited 10-15 mins and did not get seated. I didnt not want to sit in the bar area because I had a child with me but it seemed like the only option. There were only four guests in bar and one family in dining area. Chilie's is my all time favorite restaurant! The service  is outstanding, absolutely clear in helping with what is on the menu. All the waiters greet you once you get there and nice while your there in the restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious everything came out absolutely right in the order was cooked to perfection and they don't take long with your order. If you love pasta I highly recommend Cajun Chicken pasta. Everyone loves dessert I know for the fact your going to like the desserts here at Chili's . My favorite dessert is the Molten Chocolate cake.  Chili's also celebrate your birthday by coming to your table and they sing to you and bring you a chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream on top. read more

Hubs and I went out for lunch. We purposely sat in the bar because there were NO CHILDREN in there. The bartender (our server) was GREAT. He took our order promptly, and brought our beverages quickly. Mid-way through our meal, a family with two kids (maybe aged 2 and 4) walked into the bar. They'd decided they no longer wanted to sit in main restaurant area (in fact the father was carrying a child in a high chair). At this point, a female waitress (possibly barback) - sat this family at the table DIRECTLY BEHIND my husband and myself. Mind you - every single table in the bar was available!!! The children were loud, whining, the "father" was displeased about his soda, and the mother wanted a margarita (can't say I blame her). Our server (the bartender) asked us if we wanted a to-go box... Chili's is one of my favorite chain restaurants. I've came to the Tulare location many times and have had overall great experiences. I always get the 3 for $10 because it is such a steal! Drink, appetizer, and entree all for $10! Their baked potato soup is to die for. It is seriously the best baked potato soup I have had from anywhere. Their chicken crispers and fries are soooo amazing too. The chicken and fries are always crispy and full of flavor. I have also done the carside order pickup where you wait in your car and they bring your food to you. I once had a huge order and they actually got it all right. It was very convenient to be able to wait in my car instead of going in being as I was sick. I love chili's and will continue to visit! read more

One night me and my coworker waited for someone to take our order, the girl at the bar didn't acknowledge us for a bit. She saw us and started attending other people. We were at the bar. After we asked her if we could order something to eat... She replied with " we close in 15mnts" um okay so was that a no? Public service announcement: Last night I had the worst, I mean horrible experience at the Tulare, Ca Chilis . I go in with my friend Megan Brooks to have a drink and appetizer. We walked up to the hostess station where we tell the manager LJ that we would like to sit at the bar. She says ok it's open setting. I then tell LJ that those tables were dirty. So she then tells us to go stand by the tables and flag someone down and they'll come clean it (not my job) then we had the worst sever in America (Marissa). I start to do the survey because it was well deserved and "Marissa) decided so needed to confront me over the fact that I doing the survey. Two minutes after she walks away I am hit with ice. There were people at the bar that said they saw a server throw the ice. So if you want the worst service and managers that don't care how the customers are treated then chilies in Tulare is the place for you. I'll never be back. If I could give no stars I would. read more
