This the standard that all Chili's should be held to. It's a bit on the newer side and it has that vibe. We came in for dinner and sat at a table in the bar area. We ordered some appetizers (which came out right away), some drinks (which never seemed to be empty) and some fajitas (which were prepared perfectly). It was the typical chain location in the fact that it had the same menu, same specials, etc... but they definitely seemed to go above and beyond. Only one star because there isn't a negative rating. Absolutely one of the WORST meals I have ever had in 60 years. I would rather have eaten from the counter at the Walmart. Dr. Pepper ribs had zero flavor and appeared to have been microwaved. Opted for the healthier "seasonal vegetables" of grilled asparagus and tomatoes. Neither grilled, most likely nuked with the ribs, no flavor and basically raw and dried out. I understand companies like this do very little :"cooking" in these locations except to reheat most items, but this wasn't even close. If it wasn't for a gift card, I wouldn't have ventured, but I will NEVER set foot in any Chili's again - life's too short to eat crappy nuked garbage. read more

Food was good when it arrived, but the service as terrible. We have visited this location several times in the past year thinking the poor service was an aberration, sadly we realized that it is the norm. Very poor management. 2 stars for the food. read more

Have frequented this Chili's for years. Very good friendly service, but extremely inconsistent in the quality of the food. (I have never had the "Margarita Chicken" ever cooked the same way twice) Pretty much what you would expect though, it is an expensive fast food joint with a great bar. read more

Wonderful staff. Have eaten there many times. Always have very friendly and attentive service. The food is very good, especially when rated against other casual service restaurants. I've read some of the other reviews and wonder if they are confusing this location with the one 15 minutes further up the road as I've never experienced the things they have talked about at this location. But I will warn there is a very large senior citizen population in its immediate vicinity so the clientele can tilt that way, making this place busier then most a bit earlier (think 4-6 so you are actually better off coming later, like 7-8). Slow service and lack of focus at this branch of chili's. Very dirty inside and drinks at the bar were below average.

Like the new mex menu items but absolutely hate the consoles at each table. Wait staff insists on helping you thru the check paying procedure. The unit has a default tip percent of twenty percent. I often tip that much or more for excellent service but sometimes feel the need to reduce it. With the waiter insisting on being of help, it forces a confrontation if you want to leave a paltry tip of say, 15 percent. Reminds me of the waiters that like to pick up a check folder before you leave to see how much tip you left. read more

The food and drinks are great so I give them two stars. The service is horrible and the kiosks need to go. We waited 15 minutes for our drinks and our appetizer came after we received our food with no utensils. The waitress insisted on us using the kiosk to order drinks. Well I guess she didn't want a tip being the kiosk was doing the work for her. We will never come back to Chili's. read more

Go to this location at least twice a month for dinner. Usually get the 2 for 20 which is a good deal. Never had a bad meal. Drinks are reasonable. Have a Margurita with no complaints. It's not 5 star dining but it rates a good night out. Our children like their meal options. Have always had good service n the kids like the pay at the table unit. read more

Each time we visit this store, we get young, dismissive, condescending, arrogant male waiters and they must promote from within b/c the managers are the steroid versions of the waiters, only Creepier. The last time we visited, just before Christmas at around 4 pm, when it's slower, the waiter told me to "take a drink of my margarita and chill out" We were dining with our three kids, one of which is non verbal ASD, he was starving and very irritated. We told the waiter sev. times, Med - MR steak, it came out WD and he didn't even put in one of our dinners. Once he took our order and dropped off the drinks, we never saw him again until it was time to pay, we dealt with the Manager and the Food Runner. When he came to drop off the check, he blamed the poor serv on his coworkers b/c he was "doing their job and his" then gave us a pity story about how he's back in college b/c he needs to get out of Chili's b/c he hates it so much, he's struggling to make it and please don't forget to tip well. This is the norm in Ocala and why we have basically stopped eating here, with the exception of a few places. Chili's has fallen into the Prehistoric Restaurant Category - along with Bennigans, TGIF, etc...they are on their way out, their service and choice in management proves it. read more

After loving Chilis from the 80's in Dallas TX, they are now losing me: Currently living in Ocala, FL 1. Stopped carrying Beafeater and Tanquery gin (only Bombay) who ever heard of no Beafeater?? 2. Removed Country Fried Steak from menu--can't believe this!! 3. Fajita quality and quantity seriously degraded--used to be enough to take some home and plenty of garnish--not any more! 4. Prices unrealistically increased!! Where we used to eat at Chilis a couple of times a week, now it's going to be once a month, if at all. They better get their act together or they'll be going the way of Red Lobster, etc. read more

I met my first date here during a Thunderstorm.. The service was slow and I was unable to order food because of a "sewer backup" presumably due to the heavy rains... My date is not going well at this point.. The waitress was happily going to bill us for our drinks but, I had to ask her to comp them due to the restaurants inability to provide our dinners.. She had to get with the Mgr who was on the phone.. Had to wait an additional 15 mins because Mgr was still on the phone.. I went here with my daughter on Saturday 11/18/17. I ordered the babyback ribs with the original BBQ sauce. When I was served, the corn was the only thing that was hot. The French fries were moderately warm and the ribs were cold to barely warm. And they tasted like leftover from the day before. They were dry and horrible. I have received cold food there before. It will be a long time before I go there again. The other Chili's is much better. At least their food is hot. read more

Let me just say that on this side of town we were the only 2 patrons not on Social Security and retired, and have a job that allows for a 1-hour lunch break. Wow! No doubt the worst I've been to. Very slow service even as they use a "team" approach to service you & your guest. Now we frequent Chilis often. Horrible experience!!! I simply wanted to take my parents and a few of their older friends out for dinner. We ordered and appetizers which some out in a reasonable time period. After the appetizers,however, it took forever for our actual meal to arrive. For the main meal, most of us ordered the ribs, so normally fries and broccoli come along with that by default. Upon receiving our broccoli, all of it was beginning to rot. It was turning black on the bottom and the top of the florets were yellowing. On top of that they had barely touched a pan. We had raw salted broccoli on our plates. I understand that this is a restaurant, and they need to save food. But this was a very simple fix. By cutting off the black parts off of the bottom, cutting off the yellow parts, and then cooking the broccoli correctly, it would have maybe saved the dish. That should never have ended up on someone's plate. We ordered corn and loaded mashed potatoes as replacements. When the corn came, it was warm on the outside and cold in the middle. The loaded mashed potatoes as I began to dig through it, I notice lumps of brown potato that had rotted, but instead of being removed before it was cooked, it was thrown in a matched up inside of the potatoes. This was very off-putting. I didn't even address that with the manager because we were done by then. As a side note, the salad dressing (Ranch and Blue Cheese) is watered down to the point where there's really very little flavor. One person in our part tipped it just a bit and the whole thing ran out on the table. The manager came by and asked us how our meal was. We told him. He simply said yes, we heard about the broccoli and the corn. Sorry about your experience. And he walked away. This is very disturbing to my parents and their other older friends. There's very little reason why I would return except maybe the drinks. The drinks were very good. read more

Just celebrated my 60 birthday with my 2 sisters for lunch, had the waitress from hell, you know the kind that calls you sugar, honey, baby then ignores you for customer service! This waitress made us sick, she was so bad. The so called mrg came to the table and poo poo us and offered a chocolate chip cookie like we were children. Will never take out of town guest here again. We do not need anything free just provide the customer service that brings your customer back! read more

Chili's is the place to be when you want anything from a snack, a full course meal, or just to sit down and have an appetizer and a cocktail. A couple can eat and not have to spend more that $20 dollars. That along with the great taste of the food are the greatest benefits. I simply love Chili's. I would recommend Chili's to any size family because there is something for everyone whether you are on a budget or not. read more
