We are a family of 6 and Chili's is a great restaurant that we can go and afford to feed the whole family without taking out a loan!

Me and my family have gone to this chillis over the years with no issues until yesterday. We where a group of 6 and Bill came down to around 126. We where not a high maintenance group like the others that day we dint look for the server at all but never the less when it came to pay ...that's when thing got from good to worse .. server came by with the bill and pointed out that the gratitude suggestions are at the bottom...Wich was kinda rude like telling us what we need to tip... anyways we brushed that off and my mom being over 50 who was paying asked to get help with the machine to pay with her card , so server heather grabbed the machine , and instead of showing her how to navigate the machine she set it up where u only had to press accept with the 18% tip already added ...my mom being my mom went back to the previous menu and set the machine on the table , so the sever told my mom she was back to the top screen and my mom said yeah I know thank you....and she just kept staring waiting to see how much she gets tipped so my mom told her ...thank I got it ..thas when server heather told my mom that what ever tip she chooses TO LET HER KNOW ...we where all like .....ok.....anyways my mom ends up tipping 10 dollars and we all star leaving the table and as I am leaving server heather comes by and says : I saw you guys tipped me 10 dollars and I want to know why !? Was there an issue with my service ? Did I do something wrong? So I assured her that everything was fine ..but then she presses on and says ....was there a reason why you guys tipped 10 dollars?!? Was there any reason what so ever why the tip is this low?? And I tell her ....look there is no reason , does it have to have a reason why we top what we tip? She looked at me and again asked well I Wana know hu 10 dollars and I said no reason at all . She gave me a look like she was annoyed or like how dare we give her 10 dollars for a 126 dollar meal.....so I looked at her and left ..., BUT IT GETS WORSE!!!! So I decided to complain to the manager about this coz it's unprofessional to call out to a customer why they tip and beg for more money ,Wich essentially what she was getting to ,but anyway i call the store to talk to the manger and I talk to whoever answered the phone and ask for the manager and they say ok...and this past 930 pm and guess who claims to be the manager ......HEATHER so I asked can I talk to an other manager ?? Or do u have a day time manger I can talk to in the morning and she says ...well we have crissii ...Wich is another sever -_- so I told her thank and hung up . I never had issues with this place until now and it seems some people do not all feel like they are entitled and bold when it comes to tips but the matter is that tips are voluntary and if that's something you are not comfortable with ...then maybe being a server is not the right job for you. SO BE CAREFUL you leave anything less than 18% or you will be hussled and tried to be publicly shamed by the chillies servers about their tip . read more

I sat down with a party of 7 on a busy Sunday and although the food took a while to get Jessica made the experience exceptional. She kept us in the loop where everything was at and made sure our drinks were filled. All on top of bussing tables and taking away empties. Truly an amazing experience and will be back soon. I have always been a fan of Chilis being my go to when I can't decide on anything else. Since pandemic this place's hosting staff has gone down baad. You don't feel too welcomed when walking in. The vibe from hosts seem to be miserable! They tell you a ridiculous amount of wait when it's always 1/3 of it. Seems that they don't want customers to me. This place is ok, if your wanting to eat something fast. The food is good, I had spicy shrimp tacos and my daughter had unlimited chicken enchiladas with green sauce. The tacos were good and my daughter ate all her enchiladas. The waitress was irritated, rude and didn't have good customer service!!!! I tried this place again. I ordered soup & salad. In the mean time I ordered a beer. The waiter didn't even come by to see if I wanted water. It took 45 minutes to come to our table. Really, the soup is already made and I'm sure it doesn't take that long to toss a salad together!!! The worst part "No soap in BOTH soap dispensers in the women's bathroom"!!! My first review too bad it had to be a bad one. This place is garb, walk in no hostess , walk to seat ourself in the bar and every empty seat is full of trash. I would understand if it was a busy night , but it wasn't. Food is usually great and I was excited so it was a real bummer. read more

I've been going to this Chili's for well over 8 years. I have never had any issues to speak of. If there ever were any issues they were resolved immediately by the servers or management. The meal deals are great and the Margaritas are even better! On another note, I can't help but notice all of this negative publicity about Heather. She has been our server for years now!!!! And I can't say enough good about her. It's obvious to me that this is a disgruntled employee, old friend, or someone going to GREAT lengths in order to try and ruin her wonderful reputation and the reputation of this Chili's. This Chili's has a gigantic open bar area that is almost half the footprint of the entire restaurant. They have five flat screen TV's mounted behind the main bar and another 8 around the perimeter. Full bar with five beers on tap mostly main stream beers (Bud, Bud Light, Blue Moon, Stella and Sam Adams). Nice high ceiling throughout the restaurant give it a very new feeling. I ordered red the chicken enchiladas and these came out on a smoking hot plat. The sour cream sauce was awesome, this is a new item on their menu and is a really great Tex/Mex traditional entree. read more

Worst place to do a To-Go order. I've ordered here multiple times, and my orders are usually 20-30 minutes behind. Not sure why I always go back, but I do. Tonight was the final order I will pick up from here. I went in to pick up, and my order was already about 5 minutes behind. I thought no big deal. Another 20 minutes went by and I had 3 different people ask for my name and they all said, "okay only a few more minutes." Well they were totally wrong. I finally get my order and the server tells me they threw in a large guacamole for my troubles (which they didn't). I get home and open my meal and got absolutely jipped on it. My husband and I have been coming to this Chili's for over 10 years and we always get great service. Specifically, the service from Heather is always 110%. She always goes the extra mile for her customers. There are some extremely small minded people that have been bashing and downright harassing her because they clearly have nothing else to do. Please do not pay attention horrible individuals who obviously have boring lives and think harassing a nice you woman is fun. So sad!! Get a life!! read more

With over 30 years in business at this one location I can understand an occasional bad review with an upset customer. But this is ridiculous . Food quality is 3.5 stars, but value and overall takeout experience, including ease of ordering via app and friendliness of staff, boosts this up to 5 stars. Was pleased with their customer service as I ordered meals for 5 people for take out. We waited in the car, and was greeted multiple times and given updates about the readiness of the food. Been coming to this specific Chilis for the food but the staff is amazing. Our favorite waitress by far is Heather. She been at this location for years and if you have a chance to get her, you're very luck. Better yet, ask for Heather. Sister hates cilantro and requested none and no pico de gallo on all 3 orders to make it easy- yet every dish was smothered in it, Including the sides. I've been to this location several times. I'd consider ourselves regulars here. Tonight we walked in at 8:30 behind people that were being seated. We asked for a table for 3 and she told us sorry, we aren't taking anymore parties. I said but they are just now being seated.. she said I know. Sorry. There's plenty of open seating and due to Covid I get that they are understaffed but seating the Group we were standing behind and not us isnt right. I don't know how to rate this. For a Chili's, it was excellent. In general, it was still surprisingly good. My son loves it and my girlfriend and I did the two for $22 and two skinny margs, very, very good. Service was perfect, not too overbearing and definitely not missing when needed. For under $50, with two higher end drinks, fajitas, steak, mac and cheese, cheese fries, etc., I definitely can't complain. The steak on one under was a little too rare, even sketchy, but it was the last bite or two so I can't fault them for that. read more

This was baaaaad. Right when we walked into the bar (because open seating) we were shocked at the horrific condition of the bar. There was a booth, 7-8 seats at the bar, another 5 or so seats at the long high top, and maybe more, but nobody was bussing anything. There was old food/drinks piled up everywhere. When we asked someone if we could get a couple spots cleared off, they had a really bad attitude and left the table still really disgusting. We then waited about 10 minutes and nobody came to take our order. We tried ordering on the tablet thing, but it was so sticky and disgusting we didn't want to touch it. We ended up leaving and will obviously never come back. I don't know if this location even had a manager, but if it did, I can't imagine they are very invested in their job. read more

Wow, it took them almost an hour to bring us our food... that was after I asked three different servers what the hold up was. Three different times our "senior discount" disappeared from the screen / receipts and we had to keep requesting to put it back on. The table top device to pay our bill was not working. Our server only came by once to see how we were doing. Requested 3 different servers to turn the soccer game off so we could watch the Olympics on our screen... didn't happen. We didn't ask for anything "special", "extra", "substitutes" and one of our friends was ready to eat crackers. From the moment we sat down to 2 hours and 15 minutes later... is just wasn't a great experience. Even though the food was good, we won't be returning. Called to speak to a manager to bring this to their attention only to have her deny that it wasn't bitten(as if she can see it). Chili's in Murrieta, CA has always been good with great service. However, today I was so disappointed to learn they have replaced the romaine lettuce in the Caesar salad with the spring mix which includes those awful, bitter, limp purple weeds (as I call them). I nicely asked the server for romaine lettuce but she said all their lettuce is now mixed. Caesar salad is ALWAYS made with romaine lettuce. Big mistake by Chili's. read more
