For a chain restaurant, thought this place did VERY well =d Good service and I was actually impressed with the food...impressed that it was food that I'd have drool marks for...not the fact that it was just past bearable to eat...odd...haha... My friend and I both goth their special, which was a 2 course meal for $9.99. --Onion strings n fried jalapeño: Good and a very good portion. --Texas fries: Dry but the ranch they give you cuts through that. And I just LOVE melty cheese =) And melty cheese in a cast iron pan ... well, need I say more? ;d --Memphis ribs: These were actually not dry, I was expecting them to be when I saw them but I was pleasantly surprised. I've been to a few chili's and this one ranks two stars among them. The food prepared here is okay but not by any means great. The service is the same. This is about the closest chili's to me and I have about 5 giftcards so that's the only reason I've come here more than once. I like the explosion salad with the cheese quesadillas. The chicken isn't grilled it seems like the prepared kind that comes in most salads you buy at grocery store. The lettuce was mostly fresh but there were some bits of browned pieces. The cheese was good and the dressing was tasty. The quesadilla was and unmemorable but I ate it so it had to be decent I ordered a mango iced tea and it tasted like syrup. So I exchanged it for a regular which was better but not great. read more

The food at Chili's is fairly consistent to me in that it's OKAY, and rather good, where I'd frequent the chain. Some locations are better than others in terms of clientele, service, etc. of course. The service at this location isn't bad at all. From what I've encountered, they're always been friendly. Yes, sometimes they're not as proactively attentive, but those times it seems it's based on the situation of being busy more to than neglectful or lazy. I've gone to this location about a half dozen times. The food is good. It's in the same vein as a Coco's, Marie Calendar's, TGIF's, Applebees, El Torrito, IHOP, Denny's, Carrows, Olive Garden, Sizzlers and other chain restaurants that you can get a meal for about $10-20 for lunch or dinner with a fairly diverse menu, riddled with bar-styled food, burgers, and fried fare. You pretty much know what you're getting, so your expectations shouldn't be lofty. I've neither had rude service nor poor quality food here. There's another Chili's location over on Hawthorne near the Del Amo Mall which I think is fairly identical to this one, which is about a 10-15 minute drive away. I'll cut 'em some slack here, as I see a lot of " * " (one star) rankings, including one by a person I was actually dining with who's known by many to be more of an angry sour grapes type personality (glass half empty) who tends to be an irrationally emotional negative complainer, so you need to sometimes take each reviewer's reviews with a grain of salt and context as far as if the temperament of the majority of their reviews and judge whether you're in synch with the reviewer before you give any personal clout to their review. As it's said "Consider the Source" before placing reverence in the comments. Some reviewers who don't have their real photos of themselves on their profiles are sometimes seen by others as sort of cyber cowards known to have "keyboard courage" but when truly faced with adversity or put to task for real life situations where any level of confrontation is needed, they possibly would not be so bold to stand up for themselves without the protection of that anonymity, opting to post what they can't look someone in the eye and honestly say, removing true accountability, which can be dangerous editorializing in a review forum. So, take what you read by anyone with a grain of salt. Of course Yes, even my writings have a certain style per se, so feel free to see the tempo of my other reviews so you'll get the proper frames of reference which can provide you with a better context of understanding the review. The parking is fairly easy since it's in the Manhattan Village. If you expect front parking and aren't handicapped, then maybe you'll need to walk a little bit, but you shouldn't have to circle around or have a long trek unless, again, by context to you as an individual, you're very impatient or too lazy to walk a minute or so to get to your destination. read more

As much as I try and like this location, it lets me down every time. They have the deal where you get 2 meals for $20 or $22. The last time I went here I got a hamburger of some nature, figuring that they couldn't mess that up. I was wrong...it was so greasy that it kept running all over my hands and fell on my shirt. The burger had no taste to it whatsoever...very disappointing. My friend got the fajitas and she wasn't impressed either. Though the service is always good, I'm not sure if I'll be back. I really love this location, its actually a 5 star review however due to the lack of the staff helping a new employee i had to give it 3 stars. The staff is always happy and quick to help. We came in and sat at the bar to watch the game. We where greeted by the bartender who told us it was his first day. We ordered our drinks and he took our order. Nothing to crazy, just an appetizer which was delicious! The eggrolls are smaller than before but then again we should control out portion control so I was satisfied with the change in sizing. It became to get busy as we the evening progressed, I noticed the bartender was bartending alone. Another bartender wearing a Dodger's jersey came just to check on him but he didn't help him get the drinks out and seeing how busy it was, he just stood there and watched the game, did not lift a finger. I felt bad for the guy because at t his point he was backed up. I ordered a drink and he had forgotten because he was really busy. I just feel like if someone is training they should help them when it gets busy. There was server bringing out chips and salsa however he was asking if we ordered it, we told him no. Next thing he was serving everyone at the bar with chips and salsa. had he mentioned it was complimentary we would had accepted it, Anyway, Kudos to the new bartender and shame on the guy supervising him and not giving him a hand. This is the type of behavior that makes a new employee not want to return to work. read more

I love chili's ! My family and I go there at least 3 times a month. Recently I have noticed that the seats are always super greasy , and I have complained to the host but he just says " the seats are clean". I noticed on Sunday that he was cleaning the greasy tables and after he'll clean the seats with the same towel. Maybe that's the problem. Other than that, great customer service. read more

The three star rating this place has (at the time that I'm writing this review) is quite accurate, so I'm not sure that I can add much value by writing another review. But, here goes anyways. Believe it or not, I'd never been to a Chili's. It just seemed like one of those places (like Sizzler or Red Lobster) that I didn't really need to go to. But randomly, it had come up in a few conversations over the course of several weeks, with different people telling me that it good. So, when my friends said that they really wanted to go to Chili's, I thought, why not give it a shot. My expectations were probably a little higher than most people's that walk into a Chili's first time, and I'd have to say, it was pretty much exactly what I expected. Certainly did not disappoint. There was a huge menu with tons of options, and everything looked really good (comfort food, how can you go wrong?) and I actually had a hard time deciding what to order. After making the mistake of looking at the nutritional information, I decided on the chicken fajitas (350 calories without the condiments or tortillas!). We also started with the chicken nachos which were four stars in themselves. Really good. The fajitas were good, nothing to complain about, although certainly not the best I've had (and I'd say that TGI Friday's are better), I'd order them again. This particular Chili's is in a nice location in Manhattan Village with lots of parking, and the interior of the restaurant itself was nice enough (I'd say equal to an Olive Garden). I can't really compare it to other Chili's but can say that it's better than I expected based on my impression of Chili's in general. The service was good, but it also wasn't very busy when we went there. We were there for lunch, but I was impressed by the 2 for $20 dinner on the menu... now THAT is a steal. I just might have to go back to Chili's again soon. read more

The only reason I eat at Chili's is because I have kids. Before I had kids the last time I regularly ate at a Chili's was when I was in high school because I didn't gain weight when eating an "awesome blossom". I do enjoy coming here with the family. It is loud, my kids can throw their food all over the floor, and it's cheap. Their kids menu is actually really good, lots of "safe" kid food like quesadillas, fries, grilled cheese, broccoli, corn, chocolate milk, apple juice. It's a win-win for kids and parents. I always have a hard time figuring out what to eat, but I'll often go with a veggie black bean burger or fajitas. Their fajitas are decent, you can't go wrong. This location is always super busy, especially on weekends and during lunch hour on weekdays. On weekends the best time to get there would be between 5-6pm if you don't want ot risk waiting. read more

Was there on Sunday 7/06/14 after church. The place was not crowded and was able to get a table for our group right away. Is seems as our server was on day one....very slow. 20 minutes waiting on basic soft drinks and silverware. After an extremely long wait for dinner, the meals finally arrived with no problems. Overall 4 stars meal, 2 stars service = 3 STARS OVERALL. read more

Damn! Came here after I picked up a friend from the airport. Can I say that this is the best restaurant food I've had in a looooong time. We weren't going to come because of the stars, but we were hungry. So glad we made the choice. Food came out timely and our server Michelle was on point and on top of her tables. My friend got the 3 for me which is a salad, a burger and dessert all for $10 bucks. She enjoyed everything. I got the chipotle chicken strips with corn. I've never seen this on a chilis menu, but this meal was super satisfying and the corn was the cherry on top! I wasn't planning to review this, so excuse the already eaten food photo. But everything was so damn good I just had to share. Oh and the happy hour is exclusive. Our drinks? Only $6 bucks, and they're premium so it can get cheaper. Btw, Michelle can whip a drink! First off.... I come to this Chili's all the time and have been for like 5 years. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's just awful especially you have a shit waitress like Caroline who still works there. Anyways, today's visit went good. We sat at the bar tables. Pretty quick service. I ordered the Table side Guacamole chips and it was tasty. Blackberry iced tea was good, sometimes it tastes watered down but today was good. Got the Bacon Ranch Chicken Quesdillas, my fav dish and it hit the spot, real good flavor. Thou I will say they always seem to forget the dip that comes with the dish, it's like a ranch kinna dip I asked for some ranch and got it fast. Ordered a cheesecake to close the visit off and like always... It was good I recommend this location BUT... STAY AWAY from Carolyne (black lady). I've gotten her many times and every single time she is horrible and gives an attitude.... But that's a whole different review in its self. read more

I was concerned after we decided to have dinner at this location! We happened to be in the village shopping & I looked at my phone, it's 5:35, no wonder I'm starving. Getting back to my concern, after quickly reading some reviews it seemed there maybe a better choice, like tin roof or Brickworks, but we gave it a try. We'll our top sirloins we're just fine, cooked to our liking & the sides were also. My 5 Star review is not so much for getting our orders correct or sitting us right away, etc. it was because the entire staff in our section, come over to our table a minimum of 2 times, some 3 & both managers, we counted 5 times between them. I have never had so many table visits anywhere. Which leaves me to believe, that was the reason we were seated right away and our order was perfect! This is our go-to place every Tuesday night after my son's doctor's appointment. The staff, every one of them, treat us like old friends and linger and chat, even while speedily serving us and all the other diners. I notice they give this same personalized attention to every table! The food is AMAZING. The burgers compare favorably to the latest and in-est of places for a fraction of the price. I like to get the ancho chili salmon or the loaded baked potato soup and salad, and I've been successfully losing weight on this yummy diet. Two months later, I took him up on the offer. He booked my reservation right away. What makes this stand out for me is that Ben went so far above and beyond to make sure that I had a good experience. His apology was sincere enough, but he didn't stop there. A lot of people are not willing to go the extra mile like he did that day. I am very grateful and appreciative, and I do not take it for granted. From the hand shaken fresh margaritas, I got the pineapple Serrano cilantro, to the complimentary fresh tortilla with honey butter and salsas, + the ocean breeze from the Pier, it's hard to complain. To share my table of 2 ordered the: * La asada con salsa (cooked medium) - comes with a side - we chose the corn - and rice and beans 10/10. I could drink the chimichurri sauce it came with and the meat was tender and cooked to perfection * mole blanco enchiladas - chicken Machacha, queso, chipotle pepitas, arroz de tomatillo and frijoles Nevro . 9.5/10 and I fear I will never want to have mole any other way. I also got a complimentary dessert of choice for my birthday. I opted for the fried ice cream (horchata flavored) which was divine and the perfect sweet treat to end the meal. The ambiance is lively, I recommend to sit outdoors as several other restaurants have live music and great to people watch. Huge compliments to the chef and to our incredible waiter, Peter, who was attentive and provided the best recommendations. Would definitely come back to explore more of the menu.

Sometimes a place makes you feel welcomed and comfortable as soon as you walk in. This is one of those places. The server and the owner are both friendly and genuinely hoping you have a great experience. The Asada plate was pretty good. The crunchy taco wasn't as crunchy as it should've been. The gobernador's shrimp was a bit too mushy for my taste. Overall, the food was good and I'll will be back if I'm in the area.

I was greeted with a big smile and hello from Antonio who was so pleasant and recommended the Flat Iron Steak. The steak was dressed with fresh arugula and tomato with a flavorful chimichurri sauce that interestingly had grilled onions as well. The steak was juicy, perfectly seasoned and cooked and overflowing nicely from the roll, definitely well portioned. I opted for the green salad as my side, which was served separately (which was nice), and filled with fresh mix lettuce, carrots and cherry tomatoes, cucumber and ranch dressing. The restaurant had some games for kids to entertain them which is great for families, especially while away from home. They offer a full bar and specialty coffees as well. Antonio shared they have a new breakfast menu that I hope to try in the morning.
