Chili's doesn't accept reservations and the wait was over an hour. With limited seating indoors, they have benches outside but it was relatively chilly. I was told that they were understaffed and it showed. The staff that was there were courteous and fast moving. With a limited staff, customers were waiting much longer than normal. We were nicely greeted as we entered the front door. Billiejean our server was fantastic ! She had a very friendly personality as she hustled around our table taking orders and bringing out all of our food items exactly as we wanted them. We ordered many different items to eat, but the 3 for $10.00 meals which had the Baked Potato Soup and the Crispy Honey-Chipotle Chicken Crispers were so tasty. The French Fries with the meal were very big, and cooked perfectly, and the Roasted Street Corn on the Cob was so Amazing. The family also enjoyed some Cajun Chicken Pasta, Just Bacon Burger with grilled Asparagus, and several dishes of Texas Cheese Fries with Green Onions and Jalapenos, which were Sooooooo good ! For desert we enjoyed a Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie, topped the Vanilla Ice cream and fudge. Yum ! Andrews Enriquez the Chili's Manager also came by our table several times to make sure we had everything, and that we were happy with our dinner. I had not been to a Chili's restaurant for some time, but after eating the delicious food at this Chili's in Hemet, Ca and having such great service, we will definitely be back to Chili's. This Chili's is HORRIBLY managed. This place used to be run very well, but lately I can tell how understaffed it is and how stressed the workers are. Just today, I went for my brothers birthday and signed up on the waitlist that's available on this app and once I got there I told the host I checked in on Yelp and was told to wait a few more minutes. That was completely fine, we were in no rush, but when I went to check back in 10 minutes later he said that the manager told him the waitlist on Yelp is invalid. So I had to re-enlist on the waitlist. I ended up leaving with my family. Another time my sister came and it took a while for her food to come out and was told directly from the worker (won't be naming names because they don't deserve to lose their job) that the manager understaffed the place on purpose. That there are so many more employees than the public think, but the manager refuses to schedule them. I can see the exhaustion and misery on the employees faces everytime I've been there recently. I've seen this place be extremely busy, but only see the same 3 waiters running around like crazy trying to keep everyone happy. Got together for my niece's birthday celebration with about 60 friends and family members. But what we got was a hot mess. It took 2 plus hours to get some nasty food that we never ordered. But I ate that fatty strip of what they called steak. The servers were so confused about what went to whom. It was crazy. But to make a long story short even 24 hrs later and I'm still praying to the porcelain gods. The servers were even asking us if we wanted jobs there. ok so im a big fan of chili's and especially there new JUST WINGS. i have ordered few times before and before i had yelp. but always satisfied when i ordered wings from them. big portion of fries and good size wings. today sad to say was a different story. i ordered from Chili's JUST WINGS since BWW increased prices and less wings. so JUST WINGS had same prices and we said ok :) we ordered our wings and went to pick up. so here we go... 1 - we got there and parked and we got there just when order was ready for pick up so we dnt wait (so we thought) once there the sign says to park and to wait and a team member will come out to us and same instructions on the app and "to relax". well we waited and waited and waited and another car pulls up next to us as they waited as well. The car next to us seemed they got inpatient and got off and went inside and minute later came out with her order. I looked at my son and we were like "hold up". We called and they asked us what order and what name and what parking spot. Keep in mind that app and sign says to wait and "relax" and team member will be with us when there is no option to click on to say we have arrived. So team member then says "oh ok i will take your order out to you" and she sounded as if our order was ready all this time and if we didnt call we prob be waiting still! 2 - Once we got home we passed out the orders and once we opened....we were all shocked. fries were way less then usual and wings were really disappointing. Lack of sauce all around and fries somewhat soggy and size of wings were almost as if i ordered popcorn chicken hahaha. No but really not funny but i have to say it was a sad day for wings :( so taste was still good and they were not warm or hot and we did have drinks which were good so that they got right ; ) but overall this was a bad day and i would say there probably will not be a next time. I couldn't tell you the amount of times I've been to the Hemet Chili's. The great part about that is out of all the times I've ever been there (it's a lot) I've never had bad service. My favorite thing to get at any chili's is their nachos and/or quesadilla explosion salad. Although the last time I went, I found myself ordering the southwest Caesar salad with shrimp. It was pretty refreshing, but I definitely missed the quesadilla. Their prices are always reasonable and as I mentioned above I've never had bad service. I had a very bad experience here last night. My family and I have been coming here for years and this is the first time we've had a bad experience. Our waitress was extremely rude. I ordered a virgin drink because I don't drink alcohol anymore, and I have been clean and sober since January 21, 2023. I am a recovering alcoholic and I do not drink alcohol yet. I would still like to enjoy the aesthetically pleasing experience of a virgin drink. I thought that I could go into a restaurant and order whatever I would like. The waitress attempted to "educate me" on the restaurants policies. Excuse me I don't work here. I don't need to know your policies. All you could have told me was "we don't serve that here" or that's not one of my options. I am blind and can't read the menus, and no I don't need to ask for a braille menu. I should be able to go into a restaurant and order whatever I want to drink from the bar or from wherever. I don't work for your company so I don't want to be educated on your policies. I had a very hard day at the office and I was just trying to unwind and get a good bite to eat start my weekend, and that was ruined by this terrible experience. They are no longer doing curbside pickup with no signs letting you know. You have to go inside to pickup your order. I tried calling as I had been waiting after texting "here" as instructed via text. I waited five minutes on the phone without any answer. Then I asked the server cleaning up the outside area, who rudely told me they were no longer doing curbside pickup like I should have known. If you are no longer doing curbside yet have it on the website and phone options still please provide signage saying you must go in to pick up. Always friendly staff as soon as I walk in. I usely sit in the bar area, where there are plenty t.v's. The sports bar atmosphere is warm.
