A group of 8 of us dined in here tonight. Waitress was very punctual and took good care of us tonight. The kitchen took over an hour to get us our food. Wife ordered a ribeye steak cooked medium and came out dry and cooked well done. I had the Bacon Double Rancher burger. The bacon was so well done it just crumbled on my burger and the hamburger patties were so dry and overcooked you had to wash every bite down in order to chew and swallow. After ordering fajitas for two, the food took 30 minutes to arrive. The fajitas were not sizzling how they should be. We also still had to wait for the rice, beans, pico, and sour cream to arrive. After tasting the beef fajitas, there was a very weird flavor that rested in the juices and even the vegetables tasted weird. I've ordered this before and the fajitas never tasted this way. My poor husband ate half the basket before I noticed the dried salsa dripped chip on the bottom underneath all the other "clean"chips. The salsa looked like it had been sitting on the chip for hours. I wish I took a pic but that was the last thing on my mind. We told the waiter and he called the manager over. I showed everything to them both and all the manager had to say was "we wouldn't do that, chips are so cheap." If they're so cheap why couldn't we have gotten a warm fresh batch? Not edible, as you can see the paper is soaked with oil, not sure I'll go again. The pay kiosk I don't like it, putting 18% tip on your bill, unacceptable, couldn't get it removed. Wow, sucks to see this Chili's has an average rating of 2 stars ... my experience was way better ... It's been quite some time since my last visit to Chili's, and during a recent trip to my parents' place, my dad suggested we dine there on a night when neither my mother nor I felt like tackling dinner at home. Stepping inside, a wave of nostalgia hit me, reminding me of my college and young adult days when Chili's was the go-to spot, especially for first dates (hehe). My companions and I were promptly greeted and seated, a familiar experience from my numerous previous visits. A good start indeed. What caught my attention immediately was the new and expanded menu offerings at Chili's. While I spotted some old-school classics like Cajun shrimp pasta, burgers, and boneless chicken wings, the new-new was intriguing. My dad, always one for value, opted for the "3 for me" deal. He ordered a burger (he's a fan of the hefty patty size), nachos, and took a walk on the wild side with a Margarita instead of the usual soda. He seemed particularly enthusiastic about the Big Mouth burgers, almost as if challenging me to take on the massive combination of meat, cheese, and toppings. Challenge accepted. I confidently exclaimed, "Give me the Bacon Rancher," making sure to give my dad a playful side-eye, acknowledging his unspoken challenge. The food arrived promptly, fresh, and piping hot. What lay before me was a towering creation that seemed like someone's attempt to see how much they could stuff between two buns. Two beef patties, six slices of bacon, house-made ranch, American cheese, sautéed onions, pickles - it sounded like a familiar combo, akin to a certain bacon cheeseburger at a fast-food chain that rhymes with "Bendy's." However, the Rancher's patties were colossal, surpassing the beef of Bendy's sandwich which rhymes with "FakinHater" and I had to tackle two of them! The bacon seemed thicker typical fast-food bacon, and the ranch had a different twist, yet the chef skillfully balanced its flavor amid the overwhelming tastes of beef, bacon, onions, and pickles. Our server, although regrettably nameless in my memory, was fantastic and ticked all the boxes. In the end, my dad emerged victorious - there was no way I could finish that colossal burger in one sitting. However, it did make for a fantastic late-night snack (oh, those were the days). I just left there & decided to leave this review. Chili's is one of the best places to go, in Fay. The ambiance is great & you get service with a smile. Our waitress was great!! That's the only reason for the 1! Now, the food & wait time left me puzzled. They were busy so waiting for my grand kids appetizers was pretty long. Then, when they did bring them out, they brought their main courses out, right behind them. They had the sliders & chicken tenders with honey chipotle. Not really sure about the honey part. Either way, the tenders were BLAND!!! They were plain Jane!! Next, their sliders were black, hard, burnt, overcooked & dry!! They didn't look appealing at all! I wouldn't try them. The kids confirmed that my description was accurate. However, being that we waited so long, they were ready to eat. I had the mushroom & Swiss burger. It was also bland. I could've believe something f that looked so good was so tasteless! I mean, no season at all!! Not even salt or pepper! Needless to say, I ate it as to not create any issues. But!! In house seating should be priority!!!!!Last four times we have went, service was terrible people that came in after us, were getting served first. I had to get his name from someone else) where the server spilled sauce on my husband's pants. He looked at it; disregarded my husband looked at me and accidents happen I replied not like this. He said it again accidents happen what do you want me to do? I said not like this. He was very nonchalant and unapologetic. He showed no empathy whatsoever as if he wanted to say shit happens. Not trying to put words in his mouth but that's how he made me feel. I said what do you mean what do I want you to do? He then replied again accidents happen I said you are not gonna even apologize or pretend like you care? He then said it again. Accidents happen what do u want me to do? You want a soda/ pop? I said u could at least offer to comp us he looked at the table and looked at me like I had lost my mind. As if I wanted him to pay for the meals. I said I'm not looking for you to pay for our meals just act like u care and give us some kind of compensation he gave us a military discount which we would've gotten anyway. My friends and I ate here Friday night had some great food and great service. Our sever name was Cass (hope I spelled that right) but she was great and worked above and beyond for our table. Gave us plenty of time to look over the menu but you always have one person who never knows what to get but she was very cool. We order two burger fries chicken tenders cheesesteak some kind of fried eggroll a lot but all the food came out together in a timely manner NEVER had to ask for refills. Cass keep the table clear of everything we had used and FYI Chilis has great honey mustard sauce. We really enjoyed the food and all the staff was very friendly. I never go out to eat on the weekend I just knew it was going to take forever but Chilis has restored some grace that restaurant's can get it together on a Friday and they were full house and still got it right. They made us order online and eat in our cars because I wasn't 12 Came into the lobby with a crowd of people waiting and many people leaving upset. When I asked how long the wait was, I was expecting it to be a long wait and But the hostess said it was only a 15 minute wait. Turned out to be a 35 minute wait...Once we were seated we had to wait another 10mins. I have AFRID si the only thing I eat at chilis is their cheese pizza. So, I attempted to order a cheese pizza like I do at every chilies for the past eight years in many different counties. It's never been a problem... but here they told me I could not get it because Chili's policy is it's for only children 12 and under. I understand having policies but it's kinda of silly because I could have just ordered it as an online curbside pick up and they would have sold it to me... but just bc I'm in person and they see that I'm 23 and not 12, they told me no. I literally offered to pay extra for it. I should have just said I was ordering it to go for my kid at home and ate it anyway lol. But yeah I don't recommend this place. The service was not good. Once we were seated it took 30 mins to see a server to even get a glass of water. She was, however, very nice and checked back with us a few times. The food came out pretty quickly, and the Triple app I chose was delish. The sliders had good flavors for such a small sandwich, the southwest egg rolls were hot and fresh, and the honey Chipotle boneless wings were also fresh and hot. My companion had a big bacon cheeseburger and fries, and said both were great. We got chips and salsa before the food, and the chips were hot and fresh and light and crispy. So, while the food was delish, the service (including the bartender who farted around for 10 mins bull**** before making our drinks) leaves a lot to be desired. My chicken sandwich was so small that it didn't even cover the whole bun, the chili was room temperature, the mozzarella sticks were not hot to the touch either. The wait staff walked past our table several times and didn't remove the dirty dishes, she was not attentive to refills. So for 60$ I will never go back. And the place we were sitting was so cold it was uncomfortable to eat in. Not to mention something was leaking and the floor was wet leaking out from the drink fountain. I went to this restaurant last night with my boyfriend because i was dying to try the triple dipper i've been seeing everyone rave about. It seemed semi-busy and I walked in to see one waitress hustling in her section, one girl carrying two teas to a table and she looked absolutely miserable. There were dirty tables that were being completely disregarded. The hostess approached us with her arms tucked in her sleeves and told us without hesitation that it would be a 20-30 minute wait for just us two. Now if it is a staffing issue then maybe you need to state that and that the wait would be a little while. I guarantee you people will respect you more if you are just honest.
