Had a great experience at this location. We were craving Chili's and who can beat a 2 for $22 dinner? We chose the salad for the app and our server DeSean was happy to bring us extra salsa when we ran out. I got the 6 oz. sirloin and it was so juicy and flavorful, best steak i've had in a while. My portion of mashed potatoes was HUGE and delicious. Boyfriend got the baby back ribs and was satisfied. Came with lots of french fries. Will definitely be returning to this location. Only taking away a star because the broccoli was under cooked. Will update if i get the same thing when i return. read more

I like Chili's, this was my first time at this location and last. Waited 30 minutes for service no one came so we just left.

The bar service was interminable, the food server was friendly yet absent, the food (historic Old Timer with cheese) was overcooked and not served hot + the fries were cold also. We must have come on a busy night, the service was a little slower than usual and so was the kitchen. The Ziosk was blinking like nuts because it had run out of paper but after I mentioned it to the waiter, he fixed it immediately. I hadn't had their beef fajitas in a long time and I got the addition of lemon rice and black beans. The lemon rice was really awesome! I stopped in here on Tuesday night for a late night dinner. I had two ice cold Dos Equis which were served in a very prompt manner. The bar area isn't very large but they did have some pretty good sized TVs that were showing a variety of sports. The place wasn't very packed on a late Tuesday night but no worries the service was very good. I know this is a big chain but the food was very good. We started with the chips & queso which was nothing over the top great but I like their chips which is a plus but slightly too salty. I had the jalapeno smokehouse bacon burger. The burger was absolutely gigantic and way too much food to eat that late at night. The bacon was extra crispy so I would have to take a star away for that. The waitress was very friendly and took care of any and all of our needs. I think you can also join their email club and get free chips and queso if you enjoy something for free. This location was very clean and the restrooms looked well maintained also. I will go here every once in awhile but be prepared to see large crowds the majority of the time that you go here. They always have some type of happy hour or draft beer specials so take advantage. read more

The bartender was extremely nice and courteous! My friend order southwest egg rollls.. I didn't try them they didn't look tasty at all. Sorry. I had fried pickles they were good just a little salty I dipped them In ranch which helped but still tasty! Lunch date! Went here for a late lunch and drinks with an old local friend. I like the prices and amount of food you get here. This Chili's is doing great. The waiter was so attentive and knowledgeable. We tried the $5 margarita special and were pleased. The drink was different, a twist on the classic margarita but still good. I ordered the honey chipotle crispers with loaded mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. Talk about a plate full but totally yummy. Everything had a good flavor, plus it was hot and fresh. Take out experience was easy. They came out, took payment and gave the food. Ordered tacos and a salad. Honestly they were as good if not better than some of the zillion taco spots that have popped up the past few years. And then more variety if looking for more. I didn't know what to expect after reading the reviews. I chose this location since it was close to my hotel. I had a text from Chili's for a free appetizer and that's another reason I dined here. I ordered the fried pickles. I wasn't overly impressed and I've had better ones...but they were edible. I ordered a rack of baby back ribs and was very pleased. Their ribs continue to be flavorful and the meat falls off the bone. The side of fries were good and plenty of them. The order also came with street corn on the cob. I wasn't impressed with this as it had too much coating on it...a plain corn on the cob would be better. The place was busy and the servers seemed to be keeping up. So I went and got a table right before the lunch rush figuring we could get in and out before the rush. We were seated quickly but unfortunately my whole party wasn't there just my husband and I. My husbands soup and salad was cold and looked wilted. My burger was fine but tasteless, and my moms nachos were cold and had hardly a price of meat on each one. So we sent back her food and my husband just ate his hoping next round would be better. The manager was rude and condescending. Insisting that we pay for their multiple mistakes. We will not return. I've been to this Chili's location several times, with the most current time being last night. We arrived around 5pm and were greeted and seated quickly. My sister-in-law had her baby with her and the wait staff brought a high chair over immediately. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive the entire time, even as her section filled up. She was patient with us and we never felt rushed. It was a nice experience and we would definitely return. This Chili's used to be so on the ball. I have no idea what has happened! We decided to do a quick lunch, got the sliders and Southwest egg rolls and cheddar bites and some white queso. Everything, and I mean everything was lukewarm the warmest thing on the plate, was the Southwest egg rolls. The skillet the white queso came in was literally barely warm and I don't mean the hot warm I just mean like a cool warm like you would put your hand on someone's forehea . It took 20 minutes just to get the appetizer stuff. I'm so glad we did not actually order a meal we would have been there for an hour and a half! I know they were busy, but we have been there when they were so full you had to wait at the door for 10 or 15 minutes. Never has the food let us down until now. From our base of operations at the site of the former Chilis at Preston Center, we've managed to push the Sino-Australian soldiers back to the Bush Turnpike line, but our supplies are dwindling and I don't know how much longer we can last. What do I remember about T-day? I was dining with my brother and our friend at the Chilis and I remember intense disappointment in both the food and service. I remember the food was colder than the nuclear winter of 2017. And I remember the taste was as bland as the Soylent goop we've been living on since the mid 2030s. The bombs fell as we sat waiting for the check. If we had known it would be the last meal we'd eat before the end of civilization, I'd have chosen something else. But hindsight is 20/20. I ordered the margarita grilled chicken and some corn on the cobb on the side. I ordered an appetizer and received the wrong one. My chicken was barely cooked and there was a snafu with the corn, so it didn't come out with the rest of my food. Eventually, my brother died of thirst as his soft-drink glass remained unfilled. If only our waiter had refilled our drinks and brought us palatable food! But alas, 'twas not to be. I hear the snap-snap-snap of the guns in the distance. I fear this will be my final report. If you're reading this, avoid the Chilis at Preston Center. It is overrun by the enemy. And the food sucks. ...and I'm still waiting for my corn. read more

Just had some delicious ribs as always! Our server page was very attentive and took great care of us, she is a rockstar and has a super sweet spirit! But the real reason I am writing this yelp is because the flat out amazingly awesome manager "Marcus"!!!!! What a fabulous and goodhearted man! He came by our table to see how everything was and my wife asked for some more of their special homemade brine pickles and he brought over a whole bowl of them! We are leaving for the Mayo Clinic tomorrow as my wife is fighting some different illnesses, Marcus said since we are no longer making these pickles, he would send a jar of it home with my wife! Talk about above and beyond! He just really made our day! And bring as many smiles in messenger! Ordered via grubhub -they got all of my order wrong. The mean wasn't cooked right, they did not substitute the fries for what was asked. Noted for the seasoning, did not have any of that. My mother and came her for dinner after visiting the area recently. I have been here many times over the years, and most of the time it's a pleasant experience. This past time was a little disappointing but not terrible. I have to shout out to the server though...it was so very busy that night and that man just about killed himself trying to take care of us in a timely manner, although he missed the mark due to what I'm sure was understaffing. He should never had been in charge of so many tables to begin with. I made sure to tip him well. :) I think there must have been something happening in the kitchen though since things took so long that we packed up our dessert to go. The food itself was tasty. Anyhow I don't visit Chili's much but had family in town and we visited this location in Midtown Dallas off Preston. The meals were great, service good, restaurant clean and the ease of using the table computer for fast checkout. We had beef and chicken enchiladas and they were delicious. Waitress was very helpful and friendly. Food was great. Had the baby back ribs as usual with fries and corn my favorite dish. The guy friend had fries and a few beers. Took more than 10 minutes before the waitress even came over and we ordered our drinks, and took 30 minutes after we got there before we finally got our chips and salsa. And didn't get our main meals (soup, which doesn't take long since all you have to do is put it in a bowl) until 55 minutes after we were there. Also took a long time for the second bowl of soup. I would like to understand this place. Order by phone save time, it was Saturday around 5PM, I call Chilis, placed on hold and then they hang up. I pull over and call back, after 5 minutes, they answer. I ordered my dinner. They tell me 20 minutes. I arrive and pay, they tell me 9 more minutes. OK, while I am waiting an employee meets his girlfriend at the to go bar and they start kissing right there in front of everyone. OKAY- so I wait 20 minutes more and I am getting hungry and aggrevated. I asked for the Manager, she comes up and tells 30 seconds. Five minutes later my food arrives. The manager is no help, offer nothing to correct his at any time. I think I will look for a different restaurant from here on out and I will not be back read more
