When you find a screw in your chips..... It started out pretty good tonight. Our waiter was kind and attentive....and I want to make sure that it is known that he was great. It was the food at the end of the day that left much to be desired. Then it got super busy....we know because he told us. He was still kind and attentive but a few other things occurred. My daughter found a screw....like a 1/2 inch full screw at the bottom of the basket of chips. Quite alarming!! The kids food came out pretty decent. Our fajitas came out undercooked. The shrimp was fine but the veggies were still raw....didn't send back because at this point I just wanted to be done. A different waitress brought out the kids Sprite refills, stood at the end of the table and said, "You have Sprites??" I said yes the three kids at the end...she set all of them down at the far end (full size mugs without kids) of the table and just left them there. Didn't hand them out so the kids had to get up and hand them out themselves. I get you're busy....but come on!! Thank goodness for the mango margarita is all I have to say. I really like the food at chili's and it's nice that they offer a gluten free menu (regardless of how minimal). However every time I go the wait staff is sub par. AND usually the waiter gets switched on us about halfway through the meal for another sub par waiter. EVERY time we go this happens. Do they even allow a waiter to complete one full meal? The problem with this is they don't know what you ordered, or what you're drinking, you have to re-explain yourself, if like me you have food allergies. It's just annoying. Meh. I've had better service, but the food is tasty. If you don't really care about service, then I recommend this location. read more

I'm not a big fan, but I often get gift cards from my Citi Rewards to this place. The food is great, the service is okay....but I can't wrap my head around why I'm not a big fan of this place. I think it's because it's bright and noisy. The tables are squeezed so close to each other than you can hear everyone talking around you.....so everyone talks louder and louder..... Oh, and the wait staff tends to take food off your table before you've eaten it. I feel like they try and get you served, fed, and out the door fast. The last time we went here the waiter took a quarter of my burger and some fries off the table as if I was done eating. I made him bring me back a new container of fries... I love chilli's, usually. Today, waitress was great but food, not so hot. Salad had brown leaves; cheese sticks were tasteless, accompanying maranera Sauce had a funky taste to it. Steak was over cooked. Chicken enchilada Soup was boring and bland. Went to happy hour today. Nothing haply about it. Literally only one person was working. Some girl was helping out at times then sitting and chatting with coworkers eating there. Place is super understaffed. The bartender was very nice but way too busy. I felt bad for her. Management should work on better service. I wanted a water after my drink. My family and I typically go to this particular Chilli's because it's closer to home. Today, the service was absolutely slow. My family and I go here a lot and the service has never been this slow. We placed a simple order and nothing out of ordinary. Thank goodness they had NFL ticket to occupy everyone's attention away from there hunger. I'm guessing they were short staffed in the kitchen. The servers practically apologized every 5 -10mins for the wait. Overall the food came out great. read more

The service is slow, the orders were wrong and food quality not what it was a year ago. This was the first time I did not leave a tip. It's a chain restaurant so you have to temper your expectations. The chips and salsa are always good. There is a fairly decent variety on the menu and it is usually pretty good. Service can be a crapshoot. I have been coming here since the place opened and sometimes (especially if it is a waitperson who has seen me before), the service is great. Other times, especially with new staff, it seems to take forever. It seems the restaurant staffs the dining area depending on how many customers they expect so if it is a little crowded and they are not adequately staffed, everything seems to slow down. read more

My husband and I came here one night, because it had been a while since we came to Chili's. We decided to seat ourselves in the bar area. The waitress was very friendly and cool. We put in our drink orders, it came fast. We put in our food order and started playing the little video game on the table ($0.99, I think that goes on your bill). Well, 45 minutes later, we were so caught up in the games that we forgot about our food. Apparently, so did our waitress. We asked a different waitress where our food was? She went to go check on it and brought it to us. Our food was cold. So sad. We were so hungry and upset. We told our waitress what happened and she asked us if we wanted to leave? Yep. I wish I could leave negative stars... This was the worst dinning experience my family and I have EVER had!!!! Seems like 90% of the staff called out on New Years Day... Even the cooks!!!! This place is something else! We were a group of 6 and one of them was my son who is disabled. We were waiting for 20 min when I went to ask how much longer and was told 15-20 min. I said OK. Another group of six walked in shortly after and I over heard the host tell them it will be a wait and the older gentleman with group loudly said "you should of called in earlier" all of sudden they have a table for them. My wife then went to talk to the host and I followed and he tried to say they called in earlier. I said BS and told him what I heard and he acted like he didn't know what was going on. All of a sudden because I threw a fit we had a table. Instead of going somewhere else to wait we stayed. We had asked to talk to the manger earlier but he never came, all of a sudden we are at our table and this guy comes up to us and all he says is "sorry I was in the kitchen cooking" I was like OK! And he walked away. My wife then mentioned that might of been the manager, I said well he didn't present himself as the manager. Our server was cool, but they ran out of the beer I wanted, I was the last one to get my drink and the last one to get my dinner. Tried using the Chilis app to place my name on the waiting list and it was filled with bugs and errors. First the app said there was a 15 minute wait and then it said there was no wait when I checked in. When I got to the location, the lobby was FULL and my hungry party of 4 had to wait 30 minutes longer! Come to find out, there were ELEVEN parties ahead of me! Sure would have been nice to be able to check in while en route to this place. Servers were rude, place was dirty, and I couldn't locate a manager anywhere. Thanks for the cold food too. We was greeted and seated almost immediately after walking through the door. After being seated Jake our server came to get our drink order and checked back a few min later for our meal order. My drink didn't go empty the whole meal. I will admit I really enjoyed my chilies and experience thanks in part to Jake. 2nd time in a row now with bad service at this chili's. This is the worst chili's I've been to. Their service is terrible! Long wait times to get a server to take the order and even longer for the food to arrive once the server takes our order. I can see why if they're busy but we went on a non peak time, and the restaurant was pretty empty. our server never gave us updates or reassure us that our food was on the way. We asked for a straw and never got one, not asking for much just a straw...... This last time, we had to walk out because we got so tired of waiting for our food. Irritated and remembered why I don't come here that often. When my son and I walked in no one to greet us and waited for a while to find someone to ask to be seated. Then the young kid tells me it's going to be a 20 minute wait to seat us (party of 2), even when I point out that there were at least 6 empty tables of seats for 2! He mentioned that people were ahead of us, and I looked around and mentioned how they were all parties of 4 or more and of course there wasn't seating for them yet, but why with the two of us we couldn't be seated in the meantime?! He was very blah and could care less. I waited patiently and when we did finally got sat I counted a total of 11 empty tables and when he seated us, the table was dirty and food even stuck on the wall. I had to ask the Mgr. to wipe down the table and he wanted to know why, as he felt it and said it wasn't sticky. I told him that he was correct, it wasn't sticky but was dirty and also pointed the food on the wall. Besides it being late and already hangry, the place just seemed dirty, uncaring and slow to help.
