We have been to this location before and our waiter last time was seriously the best! Even made great suggestions for our meals. This time was by far not that way. We were out celebrating and decided Chili's would be perfect based on previous experience. Boy were we wrong. On our way to be seated we were taken to a table that wasn't ready, so the host took us elsewhere. That table wasn't cleaned for at least 30 minutes and they weren't so busy that they couldn't take the 5 minutes to take care of it. We didn't see our server for the first 15 minutes we were there. Another server took our drink order, but didn't get them for us and just came back to say our waiter would get them. On top of that, I had asked the other server for napkins because our table and my booth were filthy. Never got them, so I had my husband grab some for me. Finally we see our server bringing us drinks, no straws of course. Ended up having to ask the other server for those. Then we finally ordered food. While waiting for food I touched a side of the table and had black gooey crap all over my hand so I went to the restroom, completely grossed out. On my way to the restroom what do I see? A totally full half of the restaurant with happy, well-fed guests... Included the FAMILY that came in behind us, halfway through their meals and we are still waiting on ours. We got our food and it was good, the only reason this review isn't a 1-star. Takes a while, but we finally see our server when I'm done eating. We order dessert since we are celebrating. We don't see our waiter for quite some time after this. The other server actually checked on us two times, obviously annoyed to be picking up the slack. You could tell she was just doing the bare minimum to get us by, so I didn't want to beg her for anything when we were already waiting for our guy to bring it. Went here for a late dinner. It wasn't overly busy, but wasn't slow either. We got pointed in the direction of our seats because the hostess was too lazy to even walk us to our table. As we sat down, we were greeted by our server, Anthony, who was amazing. After placing our drink and appetizer order, we were then greeted by a different server because the lazy hostess tells him we haven't been taken care of. Our appetizer takes almost 20 minutes to arrive and then our food takes another 30 minutes. During this long wait I had the opportunity to observe. The longer I watched the hostess, the more frustrated I became. She stood and shuffled around the hostess stand, gazing at the same things over and over. The two times she had customers while I was there she was nowhere to be found, and BOTH times Anthony jumped in to greet and seat the guests. There were tables that needed cleaned off the entire time we were sitting there, literally a foot away from her and not once did she step in to help. The hostess was absolutely worthless. No point in her being there. Meanwhile our server, Anthony, was busting his ass. He was taking orders, grabbing food, clearing off tables when he had the time, as well as sitting guests when the hostess would come up missing, all while being friendly and personable. So awesome job Anthony. To whoever the hostess was, they need to get rid of you, I have never seen a more lazy worker in my entire life. read more

Horrible management. We exchanged $30 worth of change at a coinstar machine for a chilis gift certificate and the manager wouldn't accept it because he said "they no longer have a contract with coinstar". He was extremely rude over the phone (when we dined at the restaurant the waitress said she wasn't sure why it was working so we called the manager the night after about it). I later called coinstar and they told me that chilis should give me the giftcard but they refused. I will never be going back to this restaurant. read more

Had dinner at Chili's last night. They were really busy but the staff was very accommodating. The hostess was personable and great smile. Our server was very quick and kept our drinks full (my kids can really down the sodas). We tried their smokehouse combo. It was really good! The jalapeño sausage was delicious and the dry rub ribs were amazing! Chilis has really raised their game on the food front in the last year and I always get great service when I visit this location. read more

Haven't been to Chili's in a few years. Went today for my birthday. We were not disappointed at all. Everyone liked the food we ordered. It i could give a 0 i would. My wife is a server here and pregnant at that and today, they let a women not only bully her, but discriminate against her as well as themselves. They gave my wifes table to the women while she was in the middle of serving them, let her get in my wifes face and verbally abuse her, told my wife they both couldnt have the extra tables from where someone called off but yet continued to let the other women take e tra table and let her go home early instead of making them do a set down like they said they would. So now not only are we going to corporate but i think the news should hear about this. And consider they are both different races, i believe that is illegal. Sounds like corporate either needs to clean house or teach them how do to their fucking jobs. How can you sit there and let someone intimidate a pregnant women? Went here for dinner last night. Was not impressed. The Texas fries were good but that's about it. I got the mex pick 3. Only thing that was good was the house salad. I wish I would have gotten the kids pizza. My son had that and that was good. But seriously, they set hot pizza right in front of my toddler son. Who does that? My first thought is they always take sooooo long to bring out the food. My last visit was with my vegetarian daughter. Big mistake. The only vegetarian offering was a black bean burger, and unfortunately, my daughter is a vegetarian who does not savor black beans. She asked if they could make burrito with no meat. The "chef" whipped up a burrito which looked to contain a filling of Velveeta, rice and cooked celery. It tasted as bland as it sounds. Twice I've gone there in the past few months. BOTH times service was bad. First time they forgot things that came with my order (sides and condiments), then the second visit my order was completely not what I had ordered. That second time they were so busy and I was on a lunch break, it would have taken too long to re-order, so I just went with it. And they never offered to refund me or give me a discount. Aside from that, food is sub-par, but really nothing different than any other chain place. Will not be going back just because of the crappy experiences. read more

I've been a fan of Chili's in multiple states for over 25 years. Most of the time you can expect good food at a decent price; not gourmet, but OK. Since living in Ohio for the past 10 years I have frequently (2 or 3 times a year) gone to the Chili's in Dublin and I got what I expected: OK food, decent price. But no more; I don know if the management has changed or what but I will never go to that Chili's again. The place if frigging dirty! Everything is just grimy and just gives that unhealthy ugggg feeling. The food has gotten bad and tasteless. An order of a Chili's classic, Quesada(sp) explosion resulted in a plate of cold chicken and wilted lettuce. A Guacamole Burger was thrown together, bland and just a few degrees above room temperature. Other entrées we equally poor quality. Best thing about my last visit to the Dublin Chili's? At least I didn't get sick on the way home. Don't waste your time. read more

I'm one of those "older, grumpy guys" who seldom likes anything, but I must say my experience here was so far above average and I thought I had to review. The waiter, Anthony, and manager Bethany, (I hope I remembered right!) did such a great job giving that good ole neighborhood joint feeling so seldom seen anymore, especially in a chain restaurant. Both of these young people provided the most exemplar customer service (my wife and I are both retail service consultants) that you would think they had been in the business for decades. Either someone is doing a terrific job with the training, or these two are so far advanced as to be super heroes. I think we not only made new friends, but will definitely be making Chilli's a regular destination - thanks to those two. If I could give this 0 stars, I would. Slow, gross, nasty, and rude! The restaurant was dirty. It took 30 minutes for our server to get our drink & appetizer order, and we had been sitting there for about an hour before the drinks and appetizer actually arrived. Then it was another 45 minutes before our food actually arrived. Unfortunately, our food arrived cold and tasting like it sat under the warmer too long. I had to clear the dirty dishes off our table to make room for our entrees, and I had to get us extra napkins. Our server was complaining about being hot and put her armpit in my husband's face and flapped her shirt under her arm. It was gross. A manager of some sort helped bring our food and had her finger in my husband's quesadilla. Instead of getting him a new one, she just licked off her finger and gave him the food. Eww! He couldn't eat that slice. Finally, the server rudely said, "Well, why not!!?" when we declined dessert. A truly TERRIBLE experience. Ordinarily, Chili's is pretty good. This one isn't. My wife and I stopped going to Chili's several years ago because service was always do bad. Then the one near us closed down and I thought "No surprise." Well a lot of time has passed and I since I was given a Chili's gift card, we decided to try them again at this location. What a mistake! We arrived for a late dinner after seeing a movie. The place was not very busy and we were seated quickly and our server arrived promptly. That was the last good thing that happened. It took nearly 10 minutes for our request for water was filled (by a different employee) and my wife's water came in a dirty glass. Almost another 10 minutes passed before our original server came to take our order. Then it was over 15 minutes before our orders arrived. Before the server left she asked if we needed anything. My wife asked for butter for her broccoli. Some time passed while the server chatted with the folks at another table and my wife commented that the only thing worse than broccoli with no butter was cold broccoli so she started eating it. Our dinners were almost finished before the server finally tore herself away from the other table to bring butter. I had ordered the smoked chicken smothered burrito and my wife had chicken fingers. She enjoyed the chicken. My burrito was large and would have shamed Chipotle for its size. BUT it was filled with almost nothing but rice and onions with, maybe, 2 ounces of chicken that was dry and tasteless. We were almost done when our server decided to come and regale us with her story of how she almost missed an opportunity for a new job because (and I quote), "Although I got 56 e-mails and about 150 texts and I called my mother twice and my sister I was not receiving any phone calls at all and had I not called OSU to ask about my job application I would have missed out because they were ready to go on to the next applicant." Then, after my wife took her last bite of chicken, she offered to go get her more honey mustard sauce. We are done with Chili's for good and Good Luck OSU! read more

This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had a restaurant. My expectations were not high because I realize it is a chain, but I was not expecting the experience I had tonight. I went out with 5 friends and at first we all ordered water, then actual drinks. Our server never brought us waters, which wasn't really an issue since we ordered additional drinks. However, the service went downhill from there. She messed up our drink order, and we waited 45 minutes for our food which were all on the 2 for 20 menus since we had an even number of people, we thought it be would easier. The food was subpar at best, with some entrees being cold. Our dessert came out and it had a hair in it. We commented and she fixed it, but at that point we just didn't want to eat them because of the hair. Then we waited another 20 minutes for her to try and bring us the checks. She brought them out and forgot to put the 2 for 20 deal on all of our bills after waiting another 10 minutes for her to come back to our table. She again tried to print the bills, but messed them up and charged the wrong credit cards to bills. After we commented about this, she said she would fix it, but had other tables to attend to first. Note, these were tables that arrived after us, and paid after us, but were being taken care of before us. After 20 minutes of this mess, I went up to the manager and told him what was going on because our server clearly had other interests than fixing the mess she created with our bills. It took him another 8 minutes for him to try and fix it. Then he heard me mentioning how our table included the only black people in the restaurant and how I believed that the server was intentionally treating our table as second class citizens. The manager hurriedly fixed our bill and voided it, saying he was very sorry and agreed she was not focused as she should have been. That would have been nice, but he only voided my bill and I was the only white person at the table. He did not void other bills or apologize to my friends, and they waited another 15 minutes for both the manager and server to figure out their bills, even though they were the ones who experienced more issues such as hairs, and allergy concerns such as the server bringing food that has the scrapped off allergy concern. My friends never made a big deal of it, BUT THIS WAS THE MOST RACIAST RESTAURANT STAFF I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!! The fact that the manager gave me, the only white person, a voided bill, was completely absurd when my friends needed an apology more than I did. read more
