However, not much I have a use for. Today was my second time I went to check out the Christmas items but again I was not impressed. What I noticed is the presence of many tweens and teens looking for a bargain. Most items are less then $5. The youngins were grooving to the music while enjoying their shopping experience. Five Below has a decent inventory of tee shirts & other clothing, beauty products, party goods, holiday decorations, gifts, arts & crafts, toys, games, books , candy, cell phone accessories and so on and so on. Although I don't see myself purchasing much here I would definitely consider getting a few gift cards and gift bags. I went in one day as a treat to myself I bought a dress I was eyeing online, a pair of linen pants, and a sweater vest. I brought them home and unfortunately, nothing looked good. I returned to the store an hour and a half later and said I needed to return because nothing looked good. I returned so quickly because I was going away the next day and did not want to worry about returning something when I returned. The girl said "WE ONLY GIVE STORE CREDIT" I was completely unaware of this policy as the young girl behind the desk never told me or said, try it on because we do not accept returns. I never returned anything there and asked if she could please call her boss since it was only an hour or so before when I purchased it. My total was almost $600.00 so I did not feel like a store credit. I waited for the owner to reply for over a half hour while I was just standing in the store. Finally, another manager called the store and said no that is our policy we can not give her money back. I called the Southampton store to ask for the manager they took my name and number. Long story short no one called me ever. I winded up exchanging it for something smaller in price and have a gift card for the difference. NO ONE EVER TOLD ME there was a small sign I noticed when I was bringing it back, but it was NOT NEAR THE REGISTER and it was probably the size of a postcard. I am so disgusted with this place, it is really bad PR to act like you can care less when so many businesses go out of business these days. OH, AND FYI you can find all the line labels, and if you go straight to the website you usually get a coupon of up to 20% off for signing up to the website. I find it completely odd that an owner would not want to make sure a customer is happy. I was never told this honestly. If I had known this I would have a least tried on in the store before I lost $600.00. To the owner do yourself a favor stop being so stuck up that you can not even call an upset customer, do not leave a young girl in the store alone and no one else there to make a decision, and train your employees better to communicate with the customers about your desperate return policy. I only gave a star because I had to chose so I can post this, but you get 0 stars

The quality suited our needs and 2 stars is not for the dresses, but for what makes up much of the experience when excitedly setting out to shop for a nice dress with your teen daughter. We've been to this store twice to make purchases and both times we had to endure terrible customer service from one particular employee. A kind manager stepped in to resolve our situation. As the manager helped us, the employee went to the next register to ring someone else - and we could hear her being difficult with those customers, too!

Sparkles from the dresses were raining off and my entire body is covered as if I rolled around in them. The girl who opened the fitting room was also rude and for whatever reason they insist on taking any outside bags from you. That's ridiculous and made me uncomfortable handing my stuff over to a stranger and then having to track them down to get it back. Their clothing isn't quality enough for that kind of treatment, sorry. And buying/writing fake reviews on a yelp page isn't a good look.
