Herman Lans who owns this 3 room guesthouse has been doing this now for more than 25 years .I stayed with him once and he had a multi bed dorm room where he charged me $300 for 10 days . It's not that cheap anymore . Of course I gave him Cash for this bed in a multi bed dorm type room . When you call him up make sure yo know that there time difference is 9 hours ahead of the states . These rooms can be negotiated to be rented for 6 months if you want or even up to a year . The rooms are cheaper for a Long rental period .The area of his guesthouse is in a quiet area of the City a few blocks behind the Rijks museum of Amsterdam just a half block from a light rail line . read more
