We got the spicy fried chicken but it didn't taste spicy at all though. It's hard to give a fair rating given I had to come home a bit later to enjoy this so it might've been sitting for a couple hours.

I neither got my sweet and sour sauce, nor a biscuit. I have eyed dropping by this Kajun Chicken and Seafood eatery for a while. I'm normally in this plaza for Montreal-style bagels at St. Urbain Bagel Bakery. I changed things up by heading to Kajun for lunch. I rarely have any issue finding a parking spot. I backed into one steps away from the entrance and walked in. Staff were talking to one another when I walked in. I was the lone customer. I realized why staff were huddled around. The young woman who took my order was new. She had support around here. Nice! They were friendly. I wanted fish tenders. I asked what the difference was between a combo and a super combo. The new staffer said that the combo gives you a side and a super combo gives you two sides. I ordered the three fish tenders combo. I wanted macaroni salad as my side. The woman staffer said that I wanted fries. The man had heard me say macaroni salad. This interaction alone already made me think that my order was going to be screwed up. I was right. I was asked twice by the woman who wasn't a great listener what sauce I wanted. I said sweet and sour. She let me know that it would take a bit of time to deep-fry the fish tenders. Fair. I asked for a cup for my drink. I got it and hit the fountain machine. I was disappointed that this place does not offer any sugar-free options. Instead, I went with a Barq's vanilla cream soda with some ice. It was cold and bubbly. It was so good. Before I left, I got a refill. It took maybe ten minutes to get my order. I was happy when the new staffer called me. I thanked her and left. The fish tenders were excellent. Each was was flaky and delicious. The light coating around each one was crispy. I ate them without my sweet and sour sauce. Staff forgot to give me some. I read the combo deal online. It's supposed to come with a biscuit. I never got one. The macaroni salad was yummy. The macaroni was al dente. It was flavourful. Maybe I'll order through a mobile app next time and see if my order is accurate. I don't fault the young woman who was learning everything. It's a combination of being trained by more senior staff who have a few issues to resolve. The woman staffer who was supporting the new one should have been better at listening to my answers to her questions and holding a higher service standard. Perhaps having these adjustments in place would ensure that my order was complete. I was the only customer there. My order shouldn't have been as messed up as it was. (430)

Good affordable family deal for the area…read more Inside the mall, this fried chicken shop is in the centre of a few food stalls. They serve small orders relatively quickly, and the girl serving customers was efficient and friendly. We ordered the family feast which included 9pc chicken, 3 drinks, and fries. They made a fresh batch of chicken for the larger order, so we had to wait for a few minutes. We also bought a side of gravy. We got our chicken Original, but they also offer a slightly spicier version, tossed in Nashville sauce. The chicken itself had a tasty skin, the chicken meat seemed only to be marinated in a bit of salt but otherwise tasteless. I assume it would be more flavourful if we chose the Nashville style. The gravy tasted like a chicken noodle soup, with notes of celery salt. It was different but not entirely bad. The fries were very soft, kind of like they should have fried it for a minute longer. There are a few seats in the center of the mall for patrons to eat at, but we took ours to go. The mall is kind of dark and run down, and they were making repairs/replacements of something in the ceiling by the tables. Good affordable option if you are in the area, but I wouldn't run back from 3 cities over right away.

I ordered the Clucks Original Chicken Sandwich ($6.99), and it comes with some fries.. There is homemade sauce put on the 3 chicken slices. It tasted very good, especially the sauce. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The two tomato wedges (not slices!) and lettuce were fresh. The bun top is a little greasy, but the chef said he made it that way so it looks shiny; people like it that way. The fries were crispy; they have a little coating on them. You can also choose Nashville sauce, which makes it more spicy. The customer service was good. There are $4.99 student specials Mon-Fri 11:00-15:30. There are 6 tables in the mall if you wish to eat there. Three is no free WiFi. The food stall is wheelchair accessible. There are no washrooms, but there may be one in the mall. There is free parking in the mall's parking lot. Review 2023-395

STEER CLEAR OF THIS LOCATION. They dont know wtf they're…read moredoing. i placed an order for spicy tenders, fries, and 2 drinks. I got my order and the chicken is plain. and the drinks were replaced with a childs Sunny D and some weird ass mango nectar. I called them to ask about it and the guy who picked up told me that since i ordered orange fanta and it was out of stock, he gave me the next orange drink they had. He didn't think to just give me ANOTHER SODA? he gives me som kids drink and nasty mango nectar? Then he says if i want other drinks, i can place another order. why the fuck would i place ANOTHER order just for drinks? are you kidding? He said he tried to call me to ask me about the drink but i recieved no call. He then said maybe it must have been something on my end on why i didnt get it, which is fucking weird since ME calling THERE went through without any kind of issue. He said the site was showing out of stock items and like boo hoo, i ordered from your official site. if its showing out of stock items, FIX THAT SHIT. This is the second time in a row this has happened from this location. I dunno what the workers there are doing. Or more so, what that one guy who prepared my order was doing. becuase HE was who picked up the phone.

Again, they're ok, but the ones I got (first time going here) had a weird stale or musty smell, like feet, that I'm pretty sure was coming from the honey. That sounds grosser than it smelled, but I don't know what else to compare it to. The sides are absurdly small. Inflation is a **** I guess. The staff did get the notes on my order correct, so that's something. But I wouldn't order from here again, there's nothing special about it, just another fried chicken place.

Chicken Plus located along Spring Garden Ave. near Yonge St. serves up tasty Korean fried chicken…read more Their menu consists of bone-in chicken, boneless chicken, tteokbokki, fries, as well as deep fried snacks (wings, squid, chicken gizzard). Like similar Korean fried chicken places, Chicken Plus has a variety of seasonings that you can choose from to make your chicken and fries more flavourful. The restaurant is available for dine in, take out, or on delivery apps. This review is based on their food as we ordered delivery through a delivery app. Food wise, my party and I ordered the following items: - Boneless snowing cheese chicken - Boneless soy garlic chicken - Original tteokbokki - Snowing cheese fries The food was delivered safely where the packaging was on point. The staff had wrapped the tteokobokki in another plastic bag to make sure nothing spilled. The chicken came in cardboard boxes that were easy to open, making the packaging effective and mess free. Food wise, the chicken flavours were delicious and the boneless chicken was crispy! The chicken itself was not dry and all the pieces were dark meat. Favourite flavour still has to be the snowing cheese flavour! THe tteokbokki was spicy but tolerable where the rice cakes were nice and chewy. Lastly, can't go wrong with the snowing cheese fries as well. Overall, a great place for Korean fried chicken in the Yonge and Sheppard area!

Each container was of premium quality, but the standout was how well the fried chicken was packed. It was absolutely amazing! Here's what we got: Cheez Ball (6 pcs): A perfect appetizer. I tried them while they were still warm, and each piece of fried dough was filled with a savoury, gooey cheesy centre. These chewy goodness never got old, and I could have easily eaten the entire order myself. It was the perfect way to start the meal. Pelicana Fried Chicken Boneless Large (Half): These two-bite boneless chicken pieces had a thin, crispy, and well-seasoned batter. They were juicy inside, and each piece was perfectly cooked. I loved how every bite balanced texture and flavour. Pelicana Signature Chicken Boneless Large (Half): The other half of our order featured the same crispy chicken, but this time tossed in a sweet, tangy, and mildly spicy sauce. The sauce was generously applied, enhancing the already flavourful chicken. The balance of sauce, batter, and meat was spot on. Snow Fries: A great side to complement the chicken. The fries were crispy and topped with a sweet, cheesy powder. However, the seasoning wasn't evenly distributed, so the fries at the bottom didn't get much flavour. I ended up dipping them in the signature sauce, and it worked out perfectly. In terms of value, while the quality justified the price, I felt the portions could have been more generous. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and would order again if I'm in the mood for a little splurge.
