One word- OBSESSED! This restaurant has held a special place in my heart since I lived in Auburn, Alabama and visited the original location. I was so excited to hear they were building a location so close to my house here in Houston! Today they hosted their grand opening event and it was nothing short of amazing! All of the staff was so incredibly friendly and ready to serve you. My husband had never visited any of their other locations before, so he had a few questions and the staff was so informative. The chicken salad here is unlike anything you've ever had elsewhere. It is SO good! My go to is the Classic Carol and my husband ordered the BLT with Jalapeño Holly and could not stop raving about how good it was! The food was ready very quickly making this a great go to lunch spot if you're short on time, or if you would like to have a lunch date with friends, there is plenty of seating for that as well. I truly cannot say enough great things about this place. If you have never had the pleasure of visiting a location prior to this one opening, I highly recommend you check this place out ASAP! Decided to come here after physical therapy I was hungry for a salad. I came during the lunch rush and waited in line for about 10 minutes and placed my order. I got one of the combos and paid extra to upgrade to the seasonal salad. Everything was really yummy, I ordered the classic chicken salad, spicy jalapeño pimento they complete the plate with a pickle and small sugar cookie. Next time I would do without the pimento cheese it's so rich you could probably split it with your friend and get a second scoop of chicken salad since the scoops are pretty small. Oh also they serve crackers with your scoop. Overall pretty good the cashiers are still struggling on the registers with doing the orders I guess because this establishment is pretty new. The idea of a chicken salad restaurant chain is new to me, so I just had to try this. There are 13 flavors of chicken salad on the menu (12 regulars and a seasonal one), which is a lot to choose from. But they do give samples. My favorite chicken salad recipe includes eggs and sweet pickles, so I picked Old South on a white bread BLT, toasted, with the chicken and artichoke soup. The soup was good, nice and creamy with chunks of both artichoke and chicken. I'm not a super fan of artichoke but this was probably a good representation. Overall I liked my sandwich a lot. There are some nitpicky things I would have changed. The chicken salad was tasty and creamy, but I couldn't find any sweet pickle flavor. It did go well with the bacon and tomato. The bacon was crisp enough to bite through cleanly. The bread was OK--it got very smooth when toasted and flattened out a lot as I ate the sandwich, but it was fine. I sampled the Lauryn's Lemon Basil chicken salad also, and I believe I would order that next time--plenty of basil flavor, and very bright. The cookie with the meal was a nice touch, and very tasty. They have those for sale, and other desserts as well. Service was prompt and enthusiastic. The server offered samples and shared his favorites. Also talked me into a loyalty card that came with a charitable donation. The lunch itself was about $12, pretty reasonable. The food also came very quickly, which you would expect since they just had to scoop the filling onto the bread and assemble. The restrooms were clean and ready. This is where they tried to add some "character". One restroom is labeled "chicks", the other "chick magnets". Very '70s. There are also some humorous quotes framed on the walls. Overall the vibe is female-friendly, but not garishly so until you get to the restroom. You can get chicken salad at other places, but if you specifically want to go somewhere for chicken salad this is the choice. I'd eat it again. read more

We were visiting from Colorado on summer vacation and stopped here twice in four days. The food is excellent and affordable (family of 6), the place is clean with great air conditioning, and the staff is absolutely amazing! The general manager, Sofica, took the time to explain the app and rewards they offer (definitely worth it), made food suggestions that turned out to be exactly what we were looking for, and even brought the kids little gift bags that they threw a fit over. Their hospitality is worth experiencing dine in and the food will keep you coming back, especially when traveling and trying to avoid another greasy fast food meal. Your store in Greenwood, IN was totally unprepared to take care of customers. We tried placing a large order online and then found out the online portion and delivery would not be possible at this location. We were told to come to the location and go thru the driveup because they would not take the order over the phone, we had 17 orders as this was a hospital unit. Went to the location and the inside was packed, 22 people in line and 17 people in the driveup. There was only one person taking orders and very slow. Totally disappointed in the lack of management and customer service. Haven't tasted the food yet, but doubt from this experience I would be back. read more

I went in to try this for the first time and I am incredibly impressed! I wish I would have gotten the name of the super friendly cashier. She was very helpful and one of the nicest and sweetest personalities I have ever met. It really made my day and I left with the biggest smile on my face. She was very helpful and informed me about the menu items and even handed me a conplimentary bag with a cookie and coupon. She said it was for new customers. When i got back to work, I found a little cookie, along with a pickle and lots of crackers to go with my soup. The food was very fresh and tasty. The price was good and reasonable. What a great concept, really good idea but this location is lacking. Customer care is poor. Indifferent, unfriendly and minimal to no eye contact. Is everyone daydreaming and on auto-pilot? In general, serving containers are too big for the portions and you should consider brain storming a packaging concept. Servers seem offended and are ready for excuses when you make a suggestion, like labeling the meal when several are purchased. The response was, you can open them and look. Food at this location is hit and miss. MIA ingredients in Fancy Nancy. The Classic is not classy and Spicy, eh. I really wanted to make this a go-to place, but....NOT! When it's raining, be ready to be denied service via the drive through. Oh, and the way they tell you is totally weird. Unprofessional and short with no apology.
