This lil hole in the wall has pretty good fried chicken and delicious sides! The owners are very nice and the place is very clean.

The off brand KFC it's Chicken Hut. They couldn't come up with a title so they copied Pizza Hut. It's the country Pizza Hut.

Our server was super fast and made sure we were taken care of. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad wrap that came with truffle fries. I've never had truffle fries anywhere else that actually stayed hot the entire meal. So good! The chicken Caesar salad wrap was interesting too because the chicken it in stayed warm as well which make it really good surprisingly! My mom had the chicken sausage and side of French toast and she loved them both it's her go to order there. My sister had the biscuits and gravy and she said they were delish too which was a switch up from her usual grits bowl order. Always a good time at flying biscuit, we'll be back soon!

Refreshing, bright, and the perfect start to breakfast. Chorizo Hash A solid choice. I was expecting a bit more spice and depth of flavor, but it was still a tasty and hearty meal. Single "Fluffy" Pancake Unfortunately, this one missed the mark. Nothing fluffy about it and it was thin and overcooked. Definitely room for improvement here. Apple Butter & Biscuits The apple butter paired with their biscuits? Chef's kiss. Absolutely delicious. Overall: I'd still recommend Flying Biscuit if you're looking for a warm, hearty breakfast spot. There are definite hits on the menu, and with a few tweaks, the experience could be even better. I'd go back!

Thank you to Sean at Metro Diner for making my pickup order experience great! I was picking up a…read morespecial lunch order for my team in recognition of Employee Appreciation, and Sean took the extra time to make sure everything was perfect. He double-checked that the order was correct and made sure I had extra utensils, condiments, and everything we needed. That level of service really stands out. It meant a lot to me because this was something special I was doing for my team, and Sean helped make sure it went smoothly. Thank you again! Although I didn't get pictures of the food this time, everything was amazing. I will definitely be back and will take pictures next time. Please check them out, won't be disappointed.

Typically, when someone from a restaurant reaches out to me about my review, especially when they are not 5 star, I instantly become skeptical. However, this owner made me feel comfortable to share my thoughts and explain how my visit went before anything else. Over the years, I have received tons of owners offering me a free meal in exchange for my integrity but I could tell this owner was extremely genuine and wanted to make sure my voice was heard. The initial post will remain the same but I wanted to amend some of the initial remarks including the service. The first time I tried this place, I received service that was not in alignment to the core values and standards this restaurant upholds, which, I am human and I have worked in food service for years so trust me, I get it. Since being back twice since my initial visit, I have been treated like family. The service has been up to par and the staff has been incredibly friendly. As far as the ambiance, it gives the feel of an old diner which makes it charming and lovable. Perhaps, some restorations and furnishings can be done nothing that isn't manageable. Lastly, I wanted to make sure to do a thorough review of the menu so when I went back twice after my initial review, I tried a menu item for each the breakfast menu and the dinner menu. The food was great! It was favorable, warm and packed with fresh ingredients. I tried the ribs and Mac and cheese as well as a breakfast plate on two separate occasions without letting the restaurant know I was coming back for a remake. The only thing I wasn't super thrilled about was the Mac and Cheese, other than that it was good. It goes to saying that their standards are commendable as they do care about their service, food and experience of the customers.

They call it a 1/2 pound burger and it is every bit of that. The burger itself was very juicy and full of flavor. I had a side of Mac n cheese. Some of the bits of it were a little over cooked, but pretty good overall. I might try a different side next time. I sat at the bar since I was by myself. I wish I'd gotten the bartenders name, but she provided the nicest service I've had in a while when eating out. Across the restaurant industry, prices have gone up making it more difficult to eat out. It's nice knowing that not all people in the service industry take their role for granted. It made my rare dining trip out worthwhile. Looking forward to going back out to Mac's next time I'm craving a big juicy burger.

The fried pickles were soggy however it was a Door Dash order so that could have been the issue. The egg rolls were good. The mac and cheese and street corn were both good. The mashed potatoes were okay, but not great. We did not like the beans at all. Tried a bunch of sauces. They didn't come labeled so not sure what we liked. Would definitely go back for the ribs, egg rolls, and mac and cheese!
