Very dissappointed with their drive through service. If you go there you know there is always a huge line. Then more times then not they make you pull to the parking lot till a server comes out to bring your food. I have a family of 4 so our order is usually $40-$50. Almost every time they miss something. Last night I ordered a salad. Did not get it! The time before we ordered a 30 piece chicken nugget, did not get it. So upsetting especially after a long day if being out and you just want to get home and eat a meal. You look forward to it! My suggestion would be to check all your bags and not be in a hurry because they are so slow!!! read more

I wasn't disappointed but wasn't impressed eaither. The food tasted just like Indian food to me (I'm Indian myself) where I could tell which spices they were using and they may have cooked it. I do my best that if I ever eat out I go here but that is only bc I heard they serve organic food, I haven't kept up with the research and I'm going back on a stricter diet so I haven't had the time for that. I've only eaten twice from over here and I gotta say this food doesn't give you that feeling of "sludge going through your arteries" like you'd get anywhere else, which is a huge thing, at least for me. The simplicity of the food also is nice since it's fast food and they're just giving you a good organic burger, there's not like a 50+ingredient list of inorganic crap like some other restaurant foods have. read more

This is probably my favorite "fast food" place. The chicken there is amazing. They are loaded with staff who are helping and care about the customers. I really recommend any of the sandwiches from grilled chicken to the spicy chicken sandwich. Also, the milkshakes and fries are to die for. Great place to just stop by grab some food in a hurry. The service is also very fast and if you decide to eat inside it is extremely clean so nothing to worry about. read more

Service was extremely friendly, quick, and overall just far superior to any other fast food chain I've been to. The staff was awesome, and if this review was based just on their employees they'd get 5 stars. Other than that, I don't get the hype. Don't get me wrong, the chicken was good. It was "fresh" and cooked well - definitely better quality than McDonalds or Burger King, there's no doubting that. The fries were okay, again, in the sense that they were "fresh" and a little undercooked. I know it's fast food and I wasn't expecting a culinary masterpiece, but the food had absolutely no flavor. And I was drunk. Chicken nuggets are always the best food ever when you're drunk, yet I was still unimpressed. If I'm going to eat garbage food, I want to eat garbage food that has flavor, yanno? Even the sauces didn't help, the food was just boring. That's all I got. I didn't get to write an excessive review the first time I was there but in all seriousness I was there the very first day for the grand opening. I find that they were very organized and they even had someone coming out to each car to take the orders since the line was about 30 cars deep. The girl who took my order was very respectful and kept calling me ma'am and saying please and thank you over and over it's nice to see a place with southern hospitality. I ordered the chicken sandwich and the only thing that I'm really confused about is when I asked for onions on my sandwich the girl told me that they don't have onions I don't know how a restaurant or fast food place doesn't have onions but that's not a dealbreaker for me just an observation. Anyways and then i proceeded to order and got up to the front and my entire meal was correct I can't believe that I'm opening day I have to say one part of my meal that I really liked were the French fries (waffle) it could have used a little more time in the fryer but again I say I was there on the opening day so the reason they probably want deep fried as long as they should have been is because it was the very first day they were open so I cut them some slack on the spot. Then they told me to proceed to the sauce cart I was so incredibly confused as to what the sauce car was turns out it was a kid standing in the rain with an umbrella and a big huge thing of sauces all different kinds of sauce honey mustard BBQ, ranch, ketchup, you name it he had it. I don't know if this is just for the opening night but it was pretty funny when he told me to go to the sauce cart. I had a really good experience here the first night and I will definitely try it again I have been to chick-fil-a prior in Tennessee and I believe in Texas and it was always good so this is a really great addition to our local area and it's creating a lot of jobs there were tons of people working. read more

Went a couple times on off hours, liked the sandwich but both times it took forever to get my food and the first time they didn't tell me they bring it out for you so I sat by the register for 10 minutes the second time it was 19 minutes (yes I timed them) to bring my chicken sandwich out. read more

The chicken was moist and tasty.... And that is where it ends. We had simple order 2 meals no changes. They asked do we want dipping sauce...yes and told them What kind. Your iced tea sweeten or unsweetened...unsweetened. Get the order...may we have straws...their response they are in the bag...ok great. Get home....no straws, no sauce and sweet tea. So for me while the chicken was good... It is not that good compared to service. And honestly no real choices and closed Sunday's......the other thing is it is more expensive than other local fast food and not better. read more

Coming from the south, I really missed Chick Fil A. I was very excited to hear that they were bringing the chain to CT. I was definitely not disappointed. I sat in the drive through for 30 minutes and it was well worth it. The employee working the drive through was very polite and energetic and the food was exactly as I expected. The food is great and the employees are nice but the drive through service is very inconsistent. Everytime we've gone through the drive through they forget at least 1 item. Last time I went (10/23) they forget an ENTIRE 12 PIECE NUGGET. absolutely unacceptable. read more

The wife and I stopped by Chick Fil A today around 11 am. I did not know, but they open at 6 am for breakfast. We walked in and they had at least 6 people manning the registers, there wasn't a line at all and everyone was very friendly. Anyway, I had the original chicken sandwich meal and the wife had the spicy chicken sandwich meal. My chicken sandwich was outstanding as were the waffle fries. The wife enjoyed her spicy chicken sandwich but she said it was too hot and would get the original next time. We'll be back and enjoyed our experience but would only come back off hours when there was no line. read more

I was born up north, but grew up down south. When I came back up here to live, I was very excited to have a chick chick-fil-a in my town. That spicy chicken sandwich, with waffle fries, with the Polynesian sauce, it is like two angels having sex in my mouth. I know the lines are long, but that's only because people are flocking to this location from all over the state. wait until some more Franchises open up, and service will be quicker. also, sometimes it's faster to park your car and walk inside and order at the counter. Most of the negative reviews are based on people waiting in their cars, idling gas, and going "grrrrr!!!!!", because it is not coming out at McDonalds speed. well, you're eating a fried chicken sandwich. You might as well waste a few calories walking inside the place, rather than sitting in your car. Now we need a Bojangles! read more

Usually I have good experiences at Chick-fil-A however this time was not it. In most cases I don't even feel the need to write a negative review. However I came here and ordered my food. I asked the girl knowing they serve salads if I could have an empty salad bowl. She asked the man to her left if they had / could serve salad bowls. They proceeded to say no. I wasn't too upset abt it but this next part really got my grinds gearing. When I went to the window to get my food the girl had explained to me that the "avocado lime ranch dressing" is an up charged item usually if you don't order the salad. I understand this as I have worked in fast food. She then proceeded to tell me that "she's gonna give it to me this time but next time I have to pay extra". I really don't fucking understand this because she's acting as if I swerved around a menu item. When no one, not the girl who took the order or the man outside who heard my order tell me that the dressing was an up charged item. If they had told me I really wouldn't have minded paying. This fast food service restaurant has it all together. Went for a quick sandwich and saw they had two employees taking orders for you outside at the drive thru. Took my credit card on the spot and I drive around to the window to get my order in less than 3 minutes. Great service... Real fast food and delicious chicken sandwich. read more

I'm a chicken lover... Serve it 3-5 times a week in various recipes. I was excited to hear Chick-Fil-a was coming to Ct and planned to wait for the lines to die down ( remembering the crowds at the Sonic on the same road) Well I brought my car in for servicing and drove past the new location. On a Friday at 230, it wasn't that busy so the following day saturday I suggested to my husband that we drive the 18 miles to check it out, again going after 2 pm Saturday was an entirely different story... Packed! We parked at Loews since the parking lot was a disaster with the drive-up line winding to the exit. Once inside, the line was easily 30-40 deep. My husband hates lines and will often turn around and leave. He persevered and 30 minutes from the time we walked in, we were enjoying our deluxe chicken #2 with lettuce, tomato and cheese. We split a waffle fry and he had a sweet tea. DELISH! Fresh roll, delicious chicken, perfectly cooked and piping hot, fresh lettuce and tom! We thoroughly enjoyed our sandwiches and at $4...a great value as well. The waffle fries were good not spectacular. My husband didn't care for the sweet tea. We will definitely return to enjoy more chicken sandwiches! read more

For fast food, this place is better than the rest! Went for dinner on a Friday evening and found ourselves waiting in a line but it moved very fast and efficiently. All of the employees were friendly and helpful, which is not something you find at the other fast food joints! I ordered the chicken deluxe sandwich with waffle fries and a sweet tea. The chicken was so fresh and juicy and not like the sketchy chicken you get at other places that make you wonder. The fries were good- but not spectacular like the sandwich- I think they may have needed to be cooked for a few more minutes and I personally would have appreciated a little seasoning. The sweet tea was delish, even my non-sweet tea drinking friends really enjoyed it. The ambiance was great, everyone around us was happy, we had a clean table with fresh flowers on the table! Everyone can have differing opinions, and that is shown with the prosperity of this food chain. I love Chick-fil-a and while this location is 30 min away from me I still made the trip out here. I waited for this location to be open for a couple of months because I did not want to do the whole line thing. When I finally got to go it was definitely worth the drive. I got my nuggets and fries with the amazing Chick-fil-a sauce. The staff was courteous and polite. After I ordered my food they told me to have a seat and my meal would be brought out to me. The location was really clean and had plenty of seating area. The only thing they didn't do which I've experienced at my old Florida neighborhood location is have someone check up on me or offer a refill for my soda. Great place, we always stop everytime we're in town the staff is wonderful, super friendly and helpful. The owner is always there and working with his staff and I have a lot of respect for that! Horrible experience .. My order was wrong and didn't realize until I was home in West Hartford which is about 20 minutes from them. To make things worse we called to let them know what items were forgotten about and the manager of all people says "oh we will give you free ones next time" um we've already paid for them so Im lost ... Anyway the next time I go for them to make things right they offer me the extra that they forgot in the first place ... What the hell would I do with 6 medium fries I have no freaking idea lol .. It's not rocket science give me the money back for it or a gift card. This particular location has significantly failed every value that the restaurant chain stands for. As a Southerner myself I can see clear as day why they were so hesitant to build chains "up North". The employees there lack a sense of hospitality and professionalism. It is not your typical fast food chain and if you think so .. Go work at a Dunkin Donuts or Mc Donald's *My best suggestion is to go to the Enfield location the staff is friendly, precise with orders, the food is hot, and they are always pleasant! read more
