Overall this location is good. The kids running the place hustle and do their best to make it a good experience. My only complaint is their drive through game. The two lane drive through system never quite gets it right. You either end up skipping ahead of a bunch of people or you have 6 or 7 cars pass due to the dual lane experience. The order taker should just alternate one car in one lane then the next car in the next lane. Easy peasy! Instead they do some goofy shuffle that makes no sense and means it's completely out of order. Just today I placed an order and due to their goofy system I had 4 cars go ahead of me even though I arrived before them. I know it's a small thing but it annoys me. Where else is this ok? I give out 5 star ratings rarely. When something is 5 star, it knocks my socks off. It turns into an obsession. 5 star food becomes the standard to which I compare all other food to. Chick-Fil-A is 5 star through and through. I go to a Chick-Fil-A, on average, three times a week. That's no exaggeration, and sometimes I even go more. I've been known to say that I "will gladly have my birthday dinner at Chick-Fil-A." Where to start... The Diet Coke is brewed perfectly. Perfect sweetness. Perfectly carbonated. Chewy pebble ice. Styrofoam cup. I frequent this establishment sometimes for a Diet Coke run alone. The chicken is white meat. It's not ground up meat, purified, then molded into chicken nugget "shapes." This is REAL chicken. It stays moist and tender. The breading is just so perfectly seasoned. I love the strips! But the nuggets are incredible, too. Especially paired with the Chick-Fil-A Sauce or Ranch? Holy... Also, their fries. Their waffle fries. They should be their own food group. Salty, crispy. A waffle shape, equivalent of eating 5 fries at once. It's heaven. Honorable mention also goes to their no fuss Classic Chicken Sandwich. I go classic, always. Just a bun, chicken and pickles. Don't mess it up with cheese, lettuce or tomatoes. Chick-Fil-A's employees are kind, helpful, service-oriented. They'll always ask to fill my drink cup, when dining in. Their car-side service is incredible. Their rewards system is awesome. The restaurants are clean. I love the fresh flowers they put in tables. They offer Cheerio cups for mothers with babies. Not only have the drive-thru times increased dramatically, but the employees have become increasingly rude and slow. Consistently forgetting condiments or sending out cold or burnt food items, I can't even remember the last time I had a good experience or interaction at this location. I know, I know. This is a fast food chicken restaurant that we are talking about. But I truly believe they deserve every single one of those 5 stars. I think the thing about Chick fil a is they care about two things: yummy food and a good customer experience. I haven't been to a location that I didn't think was awesome, but I have been particularly impressed with this one. One time we came after my sister had just lost an important soccer game and she was feeling pretty down. One of the workers came out to our table with an ice cream cone and said, "you look like you could use some free ice cream." What?? How awesome is that?? If Chick fil a alone wasn't going to make my sister feel better, the kind employees and free ice cream sure did. The employees at Chick fil a have been consistently kind and helpful. The other thing about this location is it is always busy. But that doesn't effect your experience at all! They have figured out a system! They are organized and can still help you quickly. I went the other day and there was a lot of obnoxious construction for the new Target in the parking lot. Chick fil a brought on extra workers to be outside helping to direct people and taking orders. The manager was even outside helping customers. What you would normally think would have taken 45 minutes took us only about 7. So impressed! Ok I know I have rambling on and on about the experience, but the food is GREAT too. I like this location and the food. The only problem I see is that it gets extremely crowded around lunch time. You may end up waiting in the drive through for a good half hour. Typically I would give any Chick-Fil-A a 10/5 for their awesome customer service (and these guys do great with their customer service), but I have had a minor incident happen twice here. I'm not sure if there's been a moth in my fries or have been served a batch of fries with dirt/rot in it, but it's happened twice where I'll bite into my fries without looking and something tastes really, really bad. If they could look into this and make sure the fries they serve aren't dirty or contaminated, I would give them 10 stars out of 5! Let me just start by saying I'm not a fan of fast food. I wish CFA didn't qualify as fast food, but it does. And I love it. This is Provo's newest location, just opened earlier this month. Located on the corner of a very busy intersection where real life and BYU converge, don't even attempt to come here around the weekday lunch hour. It's mayhem at this point. I've kept my lunchtime visits to before 11:30am or after 1:30pm, and it's been fine. Our last visit was a Friday evening around 7:30pm and the place was insane. They handled the inside crowd very well, and the line went fast considering the 30-some people in it at pretty much all times. Staffers were delivering food to the tables without the benefit of table tent numbers. Still not sure how they did that. But we were impressed. This location has a play room for the kiddos, and boy did they ever take advantage of it when we were there. It's nice to have a place to allow the littles to release their abounding energy, but I was wishing there was a one-way lock on the door to keep them in there. Don't judge me - it's just that kids have a tendency to race back and forth between the dining room and the play room...and when there's a crowd, it's just really irritating when parents pay no attention to what their kids are doing (ie. tripping people carrying food trays, screetching, running and landing on the tables of strangers, the list goes on...). But, this is the price you pay eating anywhere this close to BYU parent-student housing. Which is why we'll rarely eat-in anymore. On to the food. I have always been impressed that CFA is very likely alone in the WYSIWYG category for fast food joints. The beautifully advertised sandwiches and salads actually look like they do when you get them, surprisingly. My recent favorite is the Chargrilled Chicken Sandwich, from its gorgeous fresh green leaf lettuce to the tomato that doesn't look like its been on chemo. The chicken breast is flavorful and juicy. The sauces are delicious - particularly the new one: Honey Roasted BBQ - WHAT?!?! Yes. I've squeezed the life out of this packet to get that last pinhead-sized bit. If you don't get at least one packet of this, ask for it. It's not yet on the condiment bar. Other menu favorites for me are the their chicken nuggets. They're just phenomenal, and made from actual chicken breast. Unlike other fast food chicken nuggets, you don't bite into a CFA nugget only to see anything but lean chicken meat. It's solid. And the dipping sauces are delicious; my favorite being the Polynesian (CFA's version of sweet and sour). The others are really tasty, too. Now, here's a new discovery for me at CFA - the Diet Lemonade. I've been a longtime fan of their regular lemonade. It's as good as Hot Dog on a Stick's famous lemonade. But I've not tried the Diet until recently, thinking it would suck. I was shocked to find out that it doesn't! It's just as delicious as the regular, and I can't believe it took me this long to find that out. It's what I'll order from now on. I love Chick-fil-A so much that I don't even care that they're not open on Sundays. I wish they were, and would normally deduct a star for it. But, I am willing to forgive because they have soothed my soul with their stellar service and deliciously and relatively healthy food. I'm a big fan. BIG. read more

This location was under construction because of a dining room remodel. Only the drive-thru was open. Long line caused me initial frustration, but that changed dramatically. Line went very fast, and every single employee was helpful and friendly. As I have considered the reasons for the efficient and friendly service I boiled it down to one thing - employee attitude! I'm not sure what magic potion they feed their employees, but wow. Gives me hope that fast and friendly service is not a thing of the past - we just need to have a desire to do it.
