Wanted to try breakfast and lunch at Chick-fil-A for the longest. The cashier was extremely friendly at 8:45am....which is a great thing. Ordered the BEC meal on a biscuit with 1/2 lemonade and sweet tea and hash browns. The hash browns were ok, a little greasy but just enough hash browns in the container. The BEC on a biscuit on the other hand was a disappointment. The food was bland. No taste to the biscuit, eggs, cheese or bacon. I was surprised. Only got 3 stars because of the cashier, Purell hand wipes and the view. Hopefully it's just this location and all of Chick-fila chains don't taste like this. But will try another chain for lunch one day. read more

I frequent several Chick-fil-A locations and this experience was one of the worst. After going to the aquarium it appeared to be a great option. My recommendation is to use the app and order ahead and allow for time. I opted to wait in line which was awful. I waited in line for several minutes and when my order was placed waited another fifteen minutes. I went to speak to a manager and they apologized and handed me a courtesy card which allows for a complimentary breakfast item. He said go ahead and wait in line and it won't take more than five minutes. I went ahead and waited in line again, and when I got to the cashier, she said that it was no longer breakfast hours. This is actually the first time I tried Chick-fil-A, and the experience was very pleasant. The interior is clean and tidy. I was welcomed by a very friendly cashier. There was not a lot of people in the restaurant so I got my order real quick, in about 1 minute. The spicy chicken meat was fried to the right degree, and the vegetable tasted fresh. i was also surprised at how good the fruit cup was (replacing the waffle fries, with highbush blueberries, strawberries, pieces of apple and nectarine). I expected picking out pieces of turning fruits out of fresh ones, but the entire cup was nice, and I finished every piece. The lemonade tasted a bit too sour. read more

It's nice to see a fast food establishment that is actually fast. I walked over here from the Renaissance for a quick affordable lunch and I got it, despite the fact that the line was out the door. The food and whatnot is standard for Chick-fil-A, so there were no surprises there; I enjoyed my chicken sandwich quite a bit. The staff were all very attentive and polite, which deserves an extra kudos since even an experienced worker can get flustered during a busy day. And the establishment as a whole is brighter and cleaner than what I'm used to in fast food eateries. If you're in the Inner Harbor, it's worth considering a Chick-fil-A run, especially if you're on a budget during your visit like I was. Don't let the long lines scare you away. What I got was more like a frozen microwaved bagel. Looking at it, it had a nice crispy char on the sides, so at one time it was toasted. I don't know how people can pass a Chick-Fil-A without stopping. Chick-Fil-A is one of those places that would become dangerous to me if I lived any closer. I've never set foot in a Chick-Fil-A quite this large before. I was impressed with the sheer size, and the organization. They had 2 lines- one red, one blue, to streamline the registers. Even more impressive is how quickly and how well they handle the size and the amount of people they get during the lunch hour. We took our meal for three to go, and waited for maybe a total of 7 minutes. One thing to note- if you do have to use the bathroom, you need a code found on the bottom of your receipt. This my grandson's favorite place for lunch and we surprised him during a recent visit to the Inner Harbor in Baltimore. The place was a madhouse when we stopped in but they have a great system for taking and announcing orders. Once we placed our order we proceeded to locate a table and get set up. Our food was ready quickly and we were able to finish our meal quickly. The restaurant itself is spotless and people are constantly moving around the dining area cleaning up after people. Best Chick Fil-A ever. We arrived here to meet DJs outside playing rockin' beats..! They have 3 of us tickets for free chicken sandwiches. The owner was there wearing the same uniform as his employees--nice touch. Their uniforms are pretty cool btw. He did a nice sending for an employee leaving to work for the FBI and gave her and her child a nice gift basket after a touching announcement to the entire restaurant met with thunderous applause. Of all of the Chickfila's that I have been to, this one has the greatest service from my experience! No matter how busy it gets especially during lunch hours, the service is always friendly and bubbly! The staff greets you with enthusiasm when they take your order electronically and then you just go up to the register and pay. This system is quite efficient and I never have to wait long to receive my order. There are always staff walking around to give you free refills and throw away your trash for you. I have also frequently seen the manager walking around often and chatting with customers which I find very welcoming. One time, my friend and I had just finished eating our meal and we were discussing the chicken deluxe sandwich and the manager overheard our conversation. I had said that I had never tried the chicken deluxe sandwich before and he said that I should definitely try it sometime. I told him I would get it the next time I came and then he walked away. But 5 min later, he came over to our table again and brought me a free chicken deluxe sandwich! Best day ever! Overall, the service is absolutely wonderful and the decor is nice, modern, and clean as well! read more

Absolutely poor customer service. Went here for breakfast ordered a typical spicy chicken biscuit meal. Gave my name and then waited 15 minutes while someone tried to prep it. I saw one guy which I guess is the manger had to go back there and explain how to do something. 20 minutes have gone by. Seriously. 20 MINUTES!!!! The place was not short staffed and there were other customers in there. We have all been waiting a long time and finally some guy went up there and asked what the hold up is. The girl at the register said she'll ask. I mean go back there and get the god damn food - not ask what the hold up is. Alright so the food is ready and bagged up. She calls out all the names and people are standing there. This is not a knock against the other customers for not paying attention. The girl at the register was calling out names for people that didn't order anything. There were 6 people in the restaurant with me. It was like she was making random names up and holding a bag of food in the air. Absolutely crazy. Finally she calls out a name of some guy. He walks up and gets it and moves on. Then she calls out the name "Jamie" and looks over to me. I look around and the other customers obviously not named Jamie otherwise they probably would've jumped at the chance to get their food. She looks at me again and was like "Sir your food is ready...." with this condescending look like I did something wrong. Convo went as follows: Chick Fil A (CFA): Jamie, you food is ready Me: (looking around then just stand there) CFA: Sir this is your food... Me: My name is not Jamie (I look around at the other customers and they shrug) CFA: Yes it is, your name is Jamie and this is what you ordered? Are you kidding me??! You're arguing about what my name is???!!?!?!!! Me: No that is not my name and what is in that bag? CFA: You ordered a chicken biscuit meal Me: That I did but can you make sure it's not another customers? My name isn't Jamie and I ordered a spicy chicken biscuit. Not a regular. I never thought that I would leave Chick fil A a poor review . This incident occurred on July 27, 2019 and I have yet to hear from the owner / operator of that store as I sent them an email from the restaurant .. today is August 17, 2019. I am including a picture of the email I sent them as I could not copy and paste here .. they responded with a generic message .. I truly hope they take action as the young mans behavior was truly inappropriate. Never have I ever had an issue with customer service in a Chick-fil-A and I didn't have one 200 miles from home either! This was a good spot in Baltimore. Located right in the busy tourist area and they handle it quite well. The store was packed and seating was limited, but people were in and out with no problems. They were organized and super professional even while being swamped with about 40 customers in the store at the time! My soda tasted like seltzer water and in the middle calling out orders, the guy swapped my soda out with a smile! My sandwich did only have one pickle on it...but I'm am gonna let that slide!! So glad this Chick-Fila opened. It stays busy but they work pretty fast so the wait isn't too long. There isn't any parking other than maybe a garage and no drive thru. The restaurant itself is large but like I said they stay busy! It's always clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. You do have to have a code to use the bathroom. Love Chick-fil-A as much as the next person, and just recently started going to this specific location. Being across from the Inner Harbor Downtown I expected it to be a lot more busy than the other locations I usually hit up and I was right. It gets way too crowded and hectic in here, and first thing I noticed was how disorganized the line to order and pick-up were. Seems like they just need more help enforcing where people should be going and ordering, everything just felt really rushed. The staff was incredibly friendly though, and walked around asking if things were going well, like they do at the other locations. My food was pretty much what I expected but I could tell that they are moving a little faster here than other locations do and it shows. Just that lack of attention and more just get food out as fast as possible. Will continue to visit due to convenience, but now have a better idea of what I am getting myself into. read more

There were beggars out front and one inside so that as you paid at the register you had someone behind you asking to buy him and his friends/brothers food (a preteen/teen kid). IF they called me when my food was ready I didn't hear, so I finally had to go up to the counter to look for it. A bunch of employees standing around and when I asked for help some turned and walked away. ONE guy did go look for my food.. and it had just been sitting there. #Fail And somehow the food wasn't as good either. My cobb salad was missing some ingredients. 3 stars seems fair for this location. Let's get down to why I rated it not perfect and not a total fail. Pros: One of the few chick-fil-a's in Baltimore. Food tastes good and the inside of the restaurant is unique for being in the inner harbor. A pleasant surprise. Also, the employees have been nice both times I went there, with the exception of one that I will call out below. But, I do appreciate that this location has a board with the biographies of a few employees. Kinda cool to read. Disadvantages: Well let's start with the one rude employee. The one manager (or at least I thought he was) on Friday night who calls the names of the guests with cooked food (nuggets and fries when they have them) was a complete jerk. He looked miserable and called me over because they were out of fries. He offered 3 small substitutions for the fries, trying to rip me off. I kindly asked for a refund. Also, with the location being in the Inner Harbor, there are beggars literally everywhere. I wish they had some kind of security so I could get food without being harassed outside the doors. Third, there availability sucks. They were out of honey mustard sauce (my absolute favorite) and fries. FRIES. No sorry or anything. Totally a waste of my time to try and get a meal. I wish the cashier told me before I ordered them so I didn't have to deal with the rude dude. Overall, it's Chick-fil-a, it's chicken heaven. This location is always busy during lunch time, but the employees do well with getting everyone through the line. While your in line waiting, an employee (or sometimes 2 employees) uses a tablet to take your order and name. I've never had to wait long for my food. The food always comes out fresh and hot. Theres a good amount of seating inside, but during lunch hour, they fill up quick. There's also seating outside if you prefer to sit there. read more

I'm not usually one to leave scathing reviews (just look at my post history), but my experience here was just ridiculous that I had to. So my roommate and I head over in our white shirts with black spots taped on for cow appreciation day. We get to the register and are immediately told that we won't be getting free sandwiches. Trust me, I've been doing this for years and have gotten free sandwiches for far less. Apparently how we were dressed doesn't express anything related to their company? The whole interaction with the manager (I think he was) was terrible. Isn't this event supposed to be fun? Was I supposed to show up in a full on cow costume for this one day out of the year? I know this is a fun day put on by the company and I sound like an entitled brat complaining that I didn't get my free sandwich, but it's more about how we were treated. Maybe if he had told us politely, but nope he was extremely rude and were just given just terrible customer service. We decide to leave and step outside and lo and behold, tons of people wearing white shirts with black spots with sandwiches. When we asked them whether their sandwiches were free, they said yes! We also talked to a couple who had the same thing happen to them. According to them, there was a group of TEN YEAR OLDS that this guy turned away too. Went here today using Mobile app for our food. The service was fast but far from friendly. Worker tried to hand me two full bags a cup bag with 2 drinks and a single cup drink. I had to ask another worker for a big plastic bag to make it easier on me to carry my food since i was alone. read more

This was definitely the slowest location I've gone to which is surprising because they were not really busy when we got there and this location doesn't have a drive thru. They made up for it by giving us a gift card when getting our food, which was nice because we didn't even say anything or complain. They kept everything clean and organized.
