The prices are pretty standard. It's all based on the overall market, which we all know can change. When I asked about pricing after having a decent load to bring in, they even told me "if you can hold off a month, you'll most likely get a better price." They didn't give me assurances giving that it is the market but they were right. I held off for a month and it paid off for me. I have to have a bad experience with the service they provide and again I go there maybe four times a year. All around a wonderful place to go and take in the scrap metal.

Then you realize that there is a 10 foot fence around the lake and there are no trees on the mountain. They are keeping you from hiking, swimming or fishing here. I'll bet there are a few two headed fish here (allegedly)! The lake is beautiful to look at but that is about it. And the mountains of garbage are not real mountains. I often wonder why they never turn it into a ski hill in the winter. I guess the garbage has to go somewhere and this is the place. You might not realize this is a landfill if it wasn't for the waste management trucks driving in/out and the WM sign on the road. I will give them high marks for making garbage look like nature!
