We set up an eval for my 2 oldest kids (thanks Beth) and they were placed in classes. They find the classes to be easier than North Shore Racquet Club, which may be a leveling thing. They do like that they are small classes and say that the instructors are all great. They've also been doing privates with Mo, who is such an amazing instructor. I watched my son's lesson one day and was so impressed with the feedback he was getting and he has a really fun, positive attitude too. I'm doing a lot of outdoor tennis right now thanks to this gorgeous Chicago fall we are enjoying, but when it's time to hit the indoor courts I may see if Mo has time for me too! They have agility classes here too, which I think look amazing. I've been trying to convince my kids to try them, but so far they just want to play tennis. The front desk can be slow with returning emails and they don't always answer the phone, which can be difficult when it comes to scheduling makeups, etc. They do have a makeup email alias, but I"ve yet to get a response when I've emailed it and usually just call until someone picks up. Overall, it's a great club and I can see why it has such a good reputation!

My Aunt and Uncle ignored it but the busboys nearby were slapping their thighs and covering their mouths. The food was awesome: there were expected lox bagels, bialys and cream cheese; a custom omelette station, accompanied by French Toast, waffles, and pancakes; pasta, fish and meat entrees; plus a variety of brie, camembert, cheddars, and more; pear tarts, cheese cakes, and other desserts. The personal service here is excellent - I guess. The hovering busboys whisk away each dirty plate the moment you are finished eating, so you can return to the buffet to continue stuffing yourself. All guests are addressed as Mr. or Mrs,, X, and so on, which if you like that sort of thing - and don't mind paying for it - well, it's first rate. The view out the back, through the enormous floor to cieling windows, of the leafless trees and pristine lawn, though barren, was peaceful. A lovely afternoon in the burbs.

Bad Club - Stay away. They make lots of promises to get you to join (like offering youth programs…read morethat do not exist) and then fail to deliver. Very expensive and not worth it. Members are not friendly, tennis courts and pools are over-crowded. Beware.

At least when I played there was nobody enforcing pace of play, so we were well on track for a five + hour round of golf while the group in front of us was busy plumb bobbing its putts for quadruple bogey ... with an entire hole open in front of them. Could be a lovely round with a little bit of gentle guidance from rangers to keep pace, and some regular reminders to adhere to some of the basic courtesies like raking bunkers, replacing divots, and repairing ball marks (none of which seemed to be being done on a particularly regular basis...).

On top of that, the course was cart path only, even though conditions didn't appear wet enough to justify that restriction. A 90-degree rule could have been a more reasonable option. As a result, several players were unable to finish due to the physical strain of walking, especially for those with health issues. Most notably, a man who works as a starter and is still recovering from an illness had to quit mid-round and was understandably frustrated. Do you have any suggestions on how we can better coordinate with Glenview Park staff moving forward? I've played…read moreat a pretty stagnant level since high school (over 15 years ago) until taking lessons with Frank. While I've had some great instructors, Frank has been the only one to help me make consistent improvements in my serves and backhands. He explains things in a way that really gets you to understand cause/effect of technique and offers very honest but encouraging feedback. Even while building foundations for good techniques, he also focuses on strategy. His other instructors, particularly during the summer, are also great. Definitely will continue with lessons!

And they love her!…read moreIn fact, when I mentioned to my 5 year old son today that I canceled tennis lessons later this week he started crying. Clearly a fan! And then there's my 7 year old daughter who refuses to do any sports, but she happily heads to tennis with Becky each week. She even told me last week that Becky definitely deserves 5 stars on Yelp, which is probably the reason I'm finally getting around to writing this review! Becky is fun and patient with the kids. She does 30 minutes with the my son and his friends, followed up with 30 minutes with my daughter and her friends. It's a fast lesson, but she gets a lot of tennis in during a short time It's impressive to see how the kids have progressed over the year. They are actually hitting the ball over the net now...and had a consistent rally the past few weeks. While Becky was on maternity leave months ago we signed the kids up for tennis at AC Nielsen and I find this to be a much better experience. The facility itself is nice- mostly lots of indoor tennis courts, but also a few outdoor ones as well, which we haven't been so lucky to see this cold spring. There's a small waiting room, but the kids not playing tennis usually just run around the other side of the court while Becky teaches. There's plenty of parking right outside and it's conveniently (or maybe not conveniently) across the street from Target. We've only had private lessons with Becky here, but I've heard good things about their basketball and tennis camps so may sign my son up for one of those in the future. And I may even brush the dust off my tennis racquet and take an adult lesson at some point too.

They will never talk to you and never acknowledge you.(pathetic individuals). Your kid will only play in low league tournaments and games with no taste to real soccer, MRL League, because the Kuba the Owner thinks the other teams will steal his players. The Kuba Soccer is great for your child till age of 10 y.o. after that, leave and don't deliberate.
