They have a very good wine menu with local wines but if you prefer wines from other regions they have that. They apparently brew rum too but I'm attached to barrilito (Puerto Rico ) or appleton (Jamaica) as to the food the oysters were indeed fresh and very good as was my salad with warm goat cheese. The salmon I ordered came served on bed of polenta with fresh veggies and nicely grilled leek. There wa an excellent veggie sauce. The salmon itself was excellent. Very much enjoyed the dish. The wife ordered a pasta with veggies. The mushrooms especially were superb. I was full after eating my dish but had to eat some of of hers it was so good. Finally we got an excellent tiramisu served with a side of chocolate crumbles and vanilla ice cream. I see most of the reviews are for lunch but i highly recommend staying in town and giving this a try'. There are fancier places with higher ratings if you want to spend double the amount not sure it would be twice as good

Staff surprisingly didn't offer much in terms of recommendations even when asked, and though they were friendly enough, they seemed to be going through the motions. Wine list was solid, though not great. There was very little in terms of truly outstanding producers, and it was a bit overpriced. We did have a nice bottle but not necessarily something that blew our minds. I expected a better wine list for such a classic Bordeaux restaurant. Last, the food was a bit average. My wife and I shared the Chateaubriand, Pot au Feu, and fries. The steak was very good, but the food in the Pot au Feu was a bit bland and soft -- we didn't eat much of it. The fries were fine but could've been crispier. Overall, I'm happy I finally got to visit this iconic spot, but I think the kitchen and wine list are in need of a bit of an overhaul.
