When I asked about it, I was told their policy is to help every in store customer first, even if a DoorDash driver has to wait 30 minutes while more people keep coming in. The employee was very dry and dismissive, and there didn't seem to be any urgency to complete the order. It wasn't just me being delayed. The customer waiting for this order and the other customers on my delivery route were all waiting longer because of it. I understand taking care of customers in the store, but DoorDash customers are your customers too. A small order shouldn't keep getting pushed back every time someone walks through the door.

I've seen people wait ten minutes behind the last pump, instead of driving around them and taking up the two empty pumps ahead of them. Why? Isn't that what the sign with the red cars and green cars are for? To help move things along so that you're not stuck waiting while other tanks are not in use. Maybe having the employees manage and encouraging people to drive around would help get things going, especially during the weekend. It's that breach in efficiency that makes me crazy.
