I inquire about the rise in prices, and they tell me it's because of the new coffee pour automation, ok I get that. The problem with that is that these coffee creamer machines are always "INOPERATIVE" , so now that sucks, but I still pay the INFLATED price. BUT Today I go in, sign still up I go and use the cold creamer machine do the mix coffee, taste my coffee and same results this is UNACCEPTABLE . And it's not just this location, it seems like they all are like that, it's like rolling the dice, I live in an area where there is at least 4 QT all within a 2-3 mile radius of my home, I am either the luckiest person alive and need to go to Las Vegas or "Houston you have a problem". I take cup, I empty the warm over priced hot water in the drain, leave cup, cover, on the counter and walk out, it's ABSURD, what a waste of time, energy and gas, mind you now, I'm retired, I got time to write this, have pride in what you do, even for the littlest of things. A lot of people drink coffee in the morning, to start off their hopefully great day with a cup of Joe, but this just starts them off otherwise. So I take it as, hey maybe it's time to stop drinking coffee, my reason to make this habit come to an end‍ This will either help you or make Starbucks a little richer company...ALOHA

Well don't be scared to go here anymore as the gas station is shining new for now. If you are drunk by 6pm or just want a quick taco in the morning give it a try. The 2 ingredient tacos, meat and cheese are pretty expensive at 2 bucks a pop or 9 bucks for a quesadilla. The flavor of grease will provide a friendly reminder of your experience the next morning in the bathroom. If you like to eat fire with your tacos get the red sauce. You may not need to wait till the morning for the reminder. There was no line and the nice little lady made our tacos faster than Taco Bell could without the flat top. Again this establishment is very clean so no worries there. I have to demolish the prices and really believe they could make this the best hidden taco joint in town with some creativity. I know someone there has a family recipe or two they could use. Food demolisher out.

I've lived…read morein the area for a few years but even so I never took the time to really read the name of the gas station. I only went there to do one thing only......... and that was to secure a cup or two of the holy ELOTES! I swear I've been many places and tried many types of corn whether on a stick, wrapped in foil, or in a cup but this is the ONLY place that yields the most freshest ,creamiest, flavorful, and tastiest elotes (which I make spicy). I think it has alot to do with their cheese. It's different. Its' not like your typical run of the mill corn-lady cart that offers just paremesan or some other crack-head cheese. This is some real fresh and tasty cheese that is lathered with your corn. Along with butter, cream, mayo, paprika, chili powder, a sprinkle of limon powder and topped off with the cheese and a nice drizzle of the Valentina hot sauce... you're in elote heaven. I almost regret writing about this on YELP in fear that it will be over-crowded or over-exploited and as a result the quality will slowly diminishes but I think sharing .....IS caring. I should be selfish and keep this a secret, which btw is mostly known and shared among the other that live among Swiss, Bryan, Bennett and Henderson but I am better than that. I may have a few regrets after posting this review but I know in the end I'll secure a place in heaven for being self-less and caring. Let loose and indulge. Don't be afraid of the skirmy area. It's fine in the day time and evening. If it looks too dangerous then come again some other day when less packed but regardless try it out. It's magical. The elotes lady is magical. They have their own permanent fixture attached to the front of the gas station near the door. You can' t miss it. She's there typically most of the time unless weather is that bad. BTW. Cash only. I believe its like $2-2.50 a cup.

Since I had to use the loo, that wasn't going to do. So I stopped in here to empty my tank, and as long as I was here, grab a cup of coffee. It was OK. Gas seemed a bit higher priced, but Shell usually is, and with t his location, there's not much competition. I bet it's still better than rental car gas prices, when you don't bring the car back on full. Anyway, in addition to coffee and tea, they have endless snack options, and roller food too. Yum. Bottom line: You can save on liquids here.

I also knew their gas price is higher that those within two miles radios but when I was pressed with time and I only needed to put about a gallon of gas, this place was just perfect for me. Receipt printed out at the pump, I was in and out in no time. If I had time, I would drive further to get better price but for those in a hurry to return rental cars, this place will serve just fine.

I was there at night and I felt safe in their parking lot and store. The location is very well lit throughout the parking lot and gas pumps. The pumps are also fully covered, which is great since it was raining. They have a huge selection of snacks, drinks, any coffee you could need, and last minute home supplies or groceries. Their gas prices were better than the other stations I saw in the area, too. Every employee seemed busy and the location is very clean. It seems like a place I would enjoy just hanging out at, even if I wasn't needing to stop there for gas and snacks. Everyone was so friendly. The manager (I think it was the manager) has a great sense of humor and we jested with each other when I was checking out. He even recommended some local beef jerky for me to try that had a little kick to it. I'll definitely stop here again when I'm in the area!
