First of all the gas pumps if you go to use diesel, the hose is don't empty out so soon as you get ready to pour it on your car it does go all over the side of your car. That's a problem brought up to the manager inside he's like oh no that happens. Great you know your paint job doesn't matter to them decided I was gonna buy a pastry. This morning I stopped by for gas tried two pumps none of them worked, went to talk to the employees and they had the doors locked not at the window. Finally I speak to someone and they told me 91 doesn't work but 87 is working. So I tried 87 and guess what doesn't work either. So why are they open! Why not put ups signs? Now you have people late because we were all trying to pump gas switching pumps and just to realize nothing works. read more

Very racist employee I came here for some snacks and wanted to use the restroom so I asked the cashier and he told me yes but then this man in the picture told him no don't let him he then was accusing me of stealing donuts . I have one star bc I can't give 0. Only one person working at this location is kind. The other two men are hateful, mean and rude. I am an Uber driver. I go there to get gas. Twice I have asked to use the bathroom (they have two nice ones). The first time they made me wait 30 min. I would have left but I was afraid I'd pee my pants. I asked after I filled up with gas. They 2nd time I also filled up and the man was extremely rude. I asked to use his bathroom and he said they don't have one. I explained I use it all th time and then he yelled at me that there is no bathroom. Their gas is too fucking expensive anyway. It's like a dollar cheaper across the street. read more

You can't do anything at this place without getting yelled at. I once parked here with every intention of getting gas while I was also posting a garage sale sign at the median on Eagle Rock. While I was posting this sign--an entire 30 seconds after getting out of my car--an employee informed me that I would get towed if I didn't move my car. I tried to explain that I was posting a garage sale sign and also about to get gas, but I apparently wasn't allowed to finish my sentence. It was 1:35am one night and maybe two months after the previously mentioned incident. This gas station was the closest open and I pulled in despite the fact that I had every intention of not wanting to give this place my business. I took a brief phone call before filling my tank. Instead of realizing that I'm not affecting their business by not actively filling up gas at this completely empty gas station, I was again yelled at even though I had every intention of filling up after finishing my phone call. I had been parked for 3 - 5 minutes. I drive about 50 miles a day during the week. I get gas all the time. This is the only gas station I've ever had issues with, nonetheless back to back instances. read more

This Chevron caught my eye with the higher gas prices. I did not need gas but was on the prowl for some good Java. Good java was not on the menu. Decent java was more like it. This particular store chose not to use the standard delicious brand of coffee that most of the other Chevron stations have available. I was amazed at the selection of beer and wine. I have never seen a Chevron with close to 20 brands and types of wine. They even had champagne, including Korbel at a decent price. The store was clean and well lit inside. They do take some pride on their cleanliness. The attendant was also friendly, kind and courteous as she asked if I needed anything else. I only smiled and said "That is all for now. Thank you for asking. I am happy with your store, Happy New Year and have a beautiful day." She returned the pleasantries and I was on my way with my coffee. read more

This is the first gas station I have ever wrote a review about and that is cause for the most part it's a self service type of buisness. But this gas station deserved a review and not only a review, but a negative one at that. In my entire driving life (started with a pink slip at 15/16 yrs old and now I'm 36) I have never paid for either the water or air functions at any other gas station. When I walked in to ask them to use there's, they told me I had to pay $1. I took it in such a disrespectful way. They basically made me FEEL like $1 is more Important then the safety of me and whoever who was with me. That they rather make that $1 then to make sure the car I'm driving on the streets and freeways is safe to drive as far as air and water go. That's greed to new level and I rather have no one go to this gas station so they owners greed will be his downfall. There are 2 gas stations a block or two away from here. I recommend anyone and everyone to go there and now here. read more

Wow wow wow! This was my go -to Chevron for 5 years. The owner used to bring in my special favorite mints for me to buy, and everyone was so friendly. I've literally spent thousands of dollars in gas and supplies over the many years I've gone here. I even recall in 2017 when this short little man first started working there- I moved out of that neighborhood and was in the area doing a delivery and I stopped in because I needed air in my tire- I walked in and politely asked if he could turn the air on for me- without hesitation he denied me because I didn't fill up on gas! Wow, I had to fill up at another chevron earlier and their air was out of service, so I figured I'd come back to my favorite chevron to just simply put air in my tire, but this guy is on a crazy power trip and took joy with his smug look and condescending vibe and just couldn't bring himself to BE NICE TO A STRANGER LOL! All he had to do was say, oh if you're not getting gas can you please pay for that air? Or "you know what we normally require people to buy gas but I'll do it this time just remember for the future" but no, this dude wanted to just be a jerk. So weird. read more

I was charged for cigarettes I never bought there (I have never smoked), along with the gas I did buy. In the rush i did not catch the mistake, and now have no way of retracting the charge. The person I spoke with at the station was rude and unhelpful first, then ridiculed me for investigating for the amount of $5 and then offered free gas next time I come by. I give this Chevron a -5 stars all because of one inconsiderate employee who claims to be the "manager". My cars battery died along with my phone and it's raining really hard and currently still pouring as I'm writing this review. So I kindly ask Jose (the manager) if I can plug my phone charger so that I can request for an Uber across the street to Oreilly. He then said "No, we not allowed to let people use it". I told him it's raining and I just need it for 2 mins so I can request an uBer. He still said "No". So I sarcastically told him "Okay we'll my car will be here until midnight then, is that okay?". W He then replied " No you can't, it will get towed". Then I told him well I'm trying to get out of here and I'll be gone a quicker if I can charge my phone for 2 mins so I can get help at oreillys and you can see it's pouring rain out there. He still said "No" while having a little stupid smirk on his face as to imply that "he's the manager and has all the power in the world. I then told him "I hope your never placed in my situation and never encounter a gas station employee like yourself and walked away. He then mumbled something which I couldn't understand so I asked to repeat what he said and he then stated "give me $20 and I let you charge it your phone for 2 minutes only like you say". I was in shock when he made that statement and didn't bother responding or acknowledging him. So I walked back to oreillys in the pouring rain and if it wasn't for the Oreilly crew, I'd still be stuck in that gas station where that piece of shit "Jose" is enjoying his power and refusing to help a person in need and my request was the most simple request of using there outlet to quickly charge my phone and had the nerve to ask me to pay $20 to use the outlet. As if he's the one paying the bills. Jose "the joke of a manager" is an example of what is wrong with our society these days. I'm a believer of treat others as you would want to be treated and if you want to be treated unfairly, then go to this gas station and ask for "Jose" to help you out...because obviously he won't. There was another employee there and as far as customer service goes, he needs to replace Jose because he has far better people skills and should teach Jose about proper customer service skills. read more
