I decided to grab another bottle of water I knew I'd need at some point during the day's drive. That meant waiting for the one and only clerk. This property is evidently a hot-spot for lotto and scratch-offs. The three customers in front of me were all doing combinations. Have you ever noticed how waiting seems even longer when somebody in front of you is having trouble deciding which things (in this case, scratch-offs) to choose? Sigh.
