So you get the idea, this is very spacious, lots of time/space to do U-turns here. And a very tidy convenience store, look at how the bags of chips are neatly stacked. Plus a true ice cream buffet here, in the back, right hand side. ATM. open 24 hours, conveniently located just before you get onto the 2nd Narrows bridge. Clean washrooms inside, no key needed, those are the best so I don't have to touch those dirty keys.

Normally I would do it myself, but since I didn't feel like washing my car in the freezing cold, I decided it would be best to use the car wash. Boy was I wrong. I didn't have super high expectations, but after I ran though and inspected my car, it looked exactly the same as it did before I went in. To be fair, the front of my car was *slightly* cleaner than before. But it completely missed all the dirt from the wing mirrors to the tailgate. I went into the office to bring this to the attention of the staff. The manager came out to look at my car and was relatively friendly about it. He said the only thing he could do was run me though again. So I spent another 25 minutes waiting in line, only to have EXACTLY the same result the second time. I went back into the store again, and was given a full refund (the staff were very apologetic). So yes, Esso made the situation right by providing me with a full refund. But what I don't get back is the 45 minutes I spent at the car wash, only to drive away with my car looking virtually the same as it did when I arrived. One final point. There's some ingredient in the soap used (maybe a wax). It's great for the paint, but because it's used on the whole car, it comes in contact the windows too. Now my windshield is a smeary mess in the rain. Thanks Esso, now I not only have to hand wash my car anyway, I also have to screw around with different products trying to get the damn film/haze off my windows so I can see at night or in the rain! What a headache!

They also have a dog wash that is operational only during staffed hours so unfortunately I can't comment on that as I haven't been there during the day. I will update once I find out. They also have a change machine and 2 stocked vending machines with items to clean the interior of your vehicle and 1 vending machine with drinks. They also have an on site ATM which is very handy when you discover the car to be a lot dirtier then anticipated

Three minutes on the highway, I realized I had forgotten to pump my gas. As quickly as possible, I drove back to the gas station. With my receipt in hand, I asked the Manager for the gas I purchased. He refused. He insisted he was not responsible to deliver the product. Once it's paid for, he doesn't care what happens. When I asked for the head office phone number, I was given a number for somewhere in the States. They told me it was up to the Station Manager. In brief this gas station has a licence to take your money and tell you to hit the bricks.

Sorry to disturb your texting with my purchases at your steep markups! Shame for them as I've been a regular for several years and spend a lot on fuel. Shame for me as Petro-Canada is my preferred fuel spot. Oh well, there's others.
