Came in and got the boneless wings. Apparently they had been waiting on me since the day i was born seeing as they were extremely dry and soggy trust me DRY IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT, The lamp and the chicken do not get along. Cashier also mustve had a bad day as she seemed to have an attitude that i even came into the establishment. Will not be coming back food is way too pricey for the leathery chicken and attitudes received here. PASS! read more

Chester's Fried Chicken - Hubbard, Ohio

This was my first visit to a Chester's, and I didn't know what to expect. Okay, so expect livers and gizzards on the menu... and they were sold out of them!!! Okay, seriously, the fried chicken was pretty good for a place like this, sharing space with a Subway. And they let you choose which pieces of chicken you want with your 2 or 3 piece order. When I asked for a breast and wing for my 2-piece order, they threw in an extra wing... maybe because the wings are so small? It was also ... different... to be eating lunch and hear, over the loudspeaker, that so and so's shower was ready. That's because this Chester's is in a Love's Travel Stop. Look it's a gas station/truck stop but the fried okra is worth grabbing when I'm craving it. I do t care for anything else they do but I love their fried okra. I grab it for a snack when we have band at Hubbard a music and it's a perfect snack and better than chips or a candy bar. read more

Coming off the highway we had no idea that this place is in a gas station. Not at all like the Taco Bell or McDonalds that sometimes are, the food looks like its cooked in the recycled oil from the gas station. Not appealing at all. We left without ordering. read more

Love the food but getting tired of paying full price for a combo and they are out of the biscuits or gravy. Sub with something else or adjust the price!! read more

The boneless chicken and the fried Okra were so good!! I don't eat much breaded items or items deep fried but stopped to get gas and wanted to get a small bite before getting back on the road. There is a Subway and Chesters Chicken side by side and since I eat subway often and never tried Chesters Chicken I thought I would get a small order.. Reminded me of Grandmas fried chicken :) Yummy!!! read more
