Chertsey Library is quite small compared to some of the other local Surrey libraries but has a good selection of books and extremely helpful library staff who are excellent at sourcing titles that are not available. They run activiites for children in the holidays including story telling and sometimes have tea and cakes available for weary parents, whcih offers a little respite especially during the long summer break. They sometimes have book groups running and there is a good car park nearby as well a few spaces actually in the library grounds, which are accessed by crossing te river over the little bridge.
