I'm very excited to have another GREAT Korean restaurant open in Evans. I tried it the 3rd day they open. Food was so on point for my taste buds. I eaten a lot of great Korean and Asian cuisine living on the west coast and Hawaii all my growing up. Since moving here (11 months) I been on the hunt for great authentic Asian restaurants. This is one I like very very much I went back the next day to try their AYCE KBBQ and fell in love even more and the friendly staff greeted me again with a big smile saying "well welcome back". It was so good I went again couple day later and told my friend to meet me there. Unfortunately they had problems with the gas line and was temporarily closed. Had lunch today with a family of three. 2 40yr olds and an adventurous eating 16yr old. We ordered combo A and the quantity and quality of the food were perfect for the price. We chose the tofu soup served spicy and that was my husband's favorite dish. All of the ban chan was fantastic, not a single item we didn't enjoy but the wasabi pickles were definitely the favorite getting 3 refills but almost everything was devoured. All the meats were delicious and exactly as expected from Korean bbq. The ambiance wasn't our favorite as the interior space is quite small with limited seating and minimal decor. The staff were friendly and attentive. My husband managed to spill his drink and they were very quick to help clean it up with no complaints or attitude about the accident. Overall we had a nice experience and while we won't be planning fancy dinners or date nights here we will definitely be back for the great food. Been there twice, once for a celebratory dinner with colleagues and the second time for lunch with friends. The staff was super attentive and made sure we had everything we needed through the chaos of dealing with a 5 year old, a 2 year old and a 2 month old. The food was amazing, MUST try the cheese corn and Kimchi soup. Absolutely amazing including all the sides ( salad, bean sprouts, fermented radish, wasabi cucumber, kimchi) very flavorful and balanced. I had the Bibimbap with beef bulgogi. It had all the traditional veggies, rice, and fried egg you would expect plus it was served on a hot plate still cooking the rice. So good! Of course they had the side dishes of kimchi, broth soup and a small salad with a mouth watering ginger dressing. I ended up getting extra salad and kimchi. The restaurant has a simple atmosphere but I would rather pay for good food not a fancy setting. The staff were friendly and attentive. Hands down the best Korean restaurant in the area--humble opinion from a guy who spent 13 months in Dongducheon, Korea. This is my new favorite Korean BBQ spot. Small place, nothing fancy, but the food is DELICIOUS, the service is fast and very friendly. There are many different food options, combo options, all you can eat or a la carte. I've tried the Combo B and I personally a fan of the LA Ribs (B8). We did combo plan a & b for 3 adults & 1 child. The first plate of 3 meats was delicious & the sauce they give you is simple but tasty. The garlic & the sesame oil & pepper were my 1 favorites. This is a no frills place where they cook for you in the kitchen and bring it out to you (you don't cook at the table). The side dishes were plentiful and it comes with cheesy corn and a side soup (kimchi, daengjang or soontoobu). They have an extensive meat and non-meat menu. Was there on their opening day and it was nice. There wasn't too much people then and it was one of the legit Korean restos in the area. Their sides are awesome their Kimchi is not too spicy, the fermented radish is always a winner. I always get Bibimbap as it is everything you want from rice, beef, veggies yuuuum but what makes the flavors blend in is their red bibimbap sauce. Try the beef bulgogi noodles too. The soup is spot on. I just think their service has gotten slower now that a lot of people knows the place. Order will now take 30-45 minutes. We ordered the short ribs bim bim bap and the soybean soup they were both delicious. They were both a decent price. I like to let the bim bim bap sit for a bit to let the rice crisp up then mix in the two sauce they provided to us . The service was good but there was only two tables there including us. The waitress was nice and checked up on us often. The food didn't take long to come out. The only complaint was I was not a fan of the kimchi and pickled kimchi daikon. I did like their salad. The Galbi is so amazing and you definitely can not go wrong with the soju! The service is top tier, it gets no better than here! Though the space is small, it is worth it. You get top quality food and top tier service! Honestly I could eat this everyday. Though I paid for the all you can eat with my dad the Galbi just was too perfect not to keep getting. The cabbage and radish kimchi banchan were also both very tasty, a tiny bit spicy but more sweet. We had dumplings for an appetizer and they weren't bad. We both also had bulgogi bibimbap and it was good. The barrier for me is I've had a bowl-like bibimbap vehicle in the past, which made the rice crispier. If the stone plate was hotter and the entree was overall more flavorful it would have taken it over the top. Our server was very pleasant and accommodating. I went here with my dad on a Wednesday afternoon. We were the only ones dining in with man waiting on his to go order. We sit down and look at the menu (part of it is actually in Korean). I was a little lost but my dad spoke with the waitress (older Korean woman) who pointed him to the best options. Honestly, l didn't know the name of most of the foods I ate ,but it didn't matter because the food was so good . The food came relatively quickly and let me tell you, GET THE DUMPLINGS. They were perfect. I'm not sure what we ordered for the most part but I do know we ordered (seafood pancakes, corn & cheese dish, spicy tofu soup & dumplings) all of which are delicious. The meat was amazing!! Again, don't know what I ate but it was incredible!! The waitress even packed up our food in the to go box when we were done. I came here with a friend a few weeks ago. We ordered the cold spicy noodles, tteokbokki, corn cheese, and bulgogi chicken. The noodles were not bad, the sauce had a nice flavor and the noodles were chewy. The tteokbokki was good as well. The corn cheese was mainly corn, not enough cheese? My friend had the bulgogi chicken and she said it was pretty good. Although they could improve on their side dishes, maybe focus on quality not quantity. Bad service. Avoid at all cost. Been here 5 times. The service gets worse every time. The male waitress acts like he is mad he has to wait tables. The price is too high for bad service. The female server never even came to our table. I literally had to wave in the male waitress's face to get more water and sides. I respect the men and women in the food industry 100% and appreciate their service, these two people need a courtesy class or something. 2$ tip. 1 for the male waitress and one for the female waitress. The reason I give it a 4 out of 5 it's because the place is really small and it gets full quickly, and when they're like this the server gets stressed out and a little rude. My recommendation is to call ahead and make a reservation or put your name on the waiting list beforehand and once you get there, to be patience. I'm going to start by saying the food is great ! However my husband and I decided to stop in one evening and got options C. Everything was on point the service as well as the food! So I decided to return two weeks later alone and I can't say the same. I was one of the 4 other party's that waited until the doors opened. I ordered the lunch special with spicy ramen and short ribs. The portion of food was very little even the side dishes they gave me had literally 3 squares of radish and about 3 (small)pieces of kimchi and not even a full cup of water. Literally felt like they was giving me half of everything I asked for! I literally took 2 slurps of the ramen and it was gone as if they gave me a 1/4 of a pack maybe. No one check to see if I needed anything more the entire time after my food was given to me. The only thing the man walked by and said was do you need a fork? By the way I'm sitting in the middle of two party's on both sides and he asked no one else this question but me and that made me very uncomfortable on top of other feelings I already had. Once I finished my food I stacked my bowls and slid them to the front of the table to try and let them know I needed my check nobody stopped. The meat was dry and flavorless. This was almost saved by the three sauces served with it which were all very delicious. The pickled sides and cheese corn were all perfect. The service left much to be desired. The server seemed more than a bit annoyed to need to explain anything on the menu. This is not a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
