You will find this mural on the west side of the Exile Brewing Company it was painted by Ben Schuh in 2016. The mural is 66 feet wide and 20 feet high and depicts the state's Capitol, a flight of beer, hops, the city skyline and a group of bicyclists. Ironically, a bicyclist came running down a hill past me while I was viewing the mural.
This mural is really starting to show signs of wear and starting to fade. I still really like this iconic mural. Schuh has a few nice murals around the city and bicyclist are a common theme in his work. This mural is defiantly work a visit if you are in the area.
There is metered street parking available for those that are driving and want to get a closer look. I like this mural and think that is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. However, as with most murals that I have visited and reviewed, this is not a long stop. I was there less than 5 minutes. So, you may want to consider planning out additional stops at many of the other attractions in the area, or making this stop part of a larger itinerary to maximize your time and trip. There is a ton of public art in the area to see. read more
