Recently made a visit here to watch my oldest daughters friend play a soccer game. A very stunning and beautiful campus and a great place to watch or participate in a ball game. The landscaping here is very nice and the place is highly maintained. Very nice concessions with covered roof, indoor restroom facilities and even boasts a cool little playground area that my 2 year old had a blast on. The front of the park even features a few small walking trails at the front that I assume may be used for cross country meets and just leisure strolls. Overall we had a great experience here watching the soccer game. We made the trip from Lousiville and whole Lousiville has a few sports complexes, none of them matchup up to this one in Elizabethtown.

Management terribly disorganized. The only reason they get two stars is because the kids had fun and the guy behind the counter didn't call the cops after I had a fucking meltdown. When he realized the teenage party organizer blew off his/her shift, I all ready had 20 elementary school kids accounted for. After ripping the manager a new one, I told him to give me the keys to the fucking equipment room - which he did or I would have kicked it in. I setup stations in the arena - think relay + boot camp. It was a lot of work on my part, but the kids had fun so I let the staff that was there live. Seriously, fuck this place.

Jeff was very accommodating with our needs, and customized different aspects of our rental to best suite our needs. I had tried many places before checking here (I didn't realize they did overnight parties) and I found Metro to be the most competitively priced and have the best facility. The lady from Metro who hosted our overnight was fantastic too. She was fun, friendly and welcoming to all our guests. The facility is huge with something to do for everyone! It also was very clean and well laid out. There are many convenient aspects to Metro if you are hosting a party including lockers for your guests, to an ice maker for your party needs, a concession stand open all night for your guests, video arcade games, batting cages,basketball, volleyball and of course their soccer field. If you are going to rent a facility for kids, and you need to have a lot of different activities for them, this is the best place!

Cons: Referees do everything except pay attention to the game they are calling, constantly on cellphone, turned around talking to friends etc. Basic volleyball infractions are not called, just glorified scorekeepers. "Sand" is actually a mix of sand, dirt and rocks. Gets very dirty and sometimes dusty inside. Only a couple of divisions , Sixes C and quads, doubles B, so level of play varies greatly. No attempt is made to put teams in leagues of equivalent skill level {unlike Baxter Jacks and King Louie's}. Lots of sandbaggers especially during tournament.. Parking is sketchy in a sketchy area, we always walked out girls to their cars for safety.
