The cheeky grog company is an apple and pear orchard that has turned there hand to making apple and pear cider. First tried their products at GABS festival in Melbourne. Had a talk to the owner and they mentioned they do wood fired pizza also and they are only a 20 minute drive from Shepparton. there is also a small area that will keep the kids entertained with some fun items play with. Dropped in one Saturday for an early lunch and a cider. Just as well we were early as they were almost fully booked out but squeezed us in luckily. They have smartly turned old fruit bins into the seating and tables for the outside eating area. They do cook wood fired pizzas and the smell when they are cook makes you look forward to digging into one for sure. The ciders they make are good and they have a small selection to choose from but will satisfy your need they also have beer and soft drinks for those who don't like ciders. The pizzas are reasonably priced and the cider on tap is served ice cold in a wine glass and would be very refreshing on a hot day. We got a couple of pizzas and they were quite good and they boxed up any leftovers that we had to take home. They also sell their products bottled and are reasonably priced so we grabbed a four pack to have with tea that night. Enjoyed the whole experience and we are planning another trip back soon.
