For those specifically looking for a CPA, I recommend checking the Nevada Society of CPAs' Find-a-CPA directory. One clarification regarding registered agents: a Nevada LLC or corporation must maintain a registered agent in Nevada even if you personally live in the state. However, if you meet Nevada's requirements, you may be able to serve as your own registered agent rather than paying for a commercial registered-agent service. In my case, I also had serious concerns about Katherine's conduct while she was serving as my registered agent. Based on my experience, I believe her actions unnecessarily put my interests at risk. I have retained documentation relating to what occurred and, if necessary, am prepared to address the matter through the appropriate legal process.
