There's something so loyal about going to the "little guys" and I feel a bit sorry for them but the prices were really good! They had specials galore when I went there and not on the cheap stuff but the expensive drinks. I ended up buying pear cider and I don't even like it that much but the deal was too good to say no. I also stocked up on some bottles of wine and bought a six-pack and now I get worried about how easily I'm convinced by a price tag. There's something a bit "old school" about a little bottle shop on it's own and I have a thing for supporting the "little people" so I'll be sure to go back there to stock up in a few weeks.

A great selection of all the alcohols; spirits, wines, beers, ciders and such and a very pleasant lay-out. The first time I was here I spent a lot of time consulting the spirit wall, beer fridge, cider area and so forth. Today I spent time looking at the Pinot Noir section; its becoming a fast growing and established habit at any store I go into. Pretty great, I'm wondering why I haven't reviewed earlier.

The girl there was more interested in stocking the fridge than anything else. When I asked if I could pay...? She replied, while sitting on a case of white wine: "....is that all, is there something else...?"

A Bottle Shop On Chapel Street open 24/7 need I say more?…read more This expertly place cellar is frequented day and night by the largest array of patrons whether it be to pick up a bottle of wine for a friends birthday, a slab of beer for the barbi or those necessary post party drinks on your way home from a night out. Being open al hours of the night the Railway Bottle Shop does tend to get some crazy, drunken characters so keep your wits about you if you are there at possible 4am on a Sunday morning.

Perfectly located at the top of Chapel St where many a drunk walks past towards the end of the night on the way home, this humble little bottle shop has diversified into a hot dog vendor. Talk about leaving a good taste in your mouth, first they sell you drinks at the beginning of the night and then later on just when you thought you were about to go home... Bam! There's a hot dog.
