I was a new customer today. I was quoted one price when I ordered the propane and was told after delivery it would be 30 cent more per gallon. May not seem like much but that's a $50 difference. I requested a certain amount to be delivered by writing and by speaking to an employee. That was ignored and my tank was completely filled creating even more charges. What should have costed around $300 was now over $500.
I called to have the price corrected and see what the company could do to fix the issue of overfilling my tank. I was given the owner, David. He was smart, condescending, and basically insulting trying to tell me that gas prices had increased weeks prior when just three days before I was quoted my price by an employee. All they could offer was to either pump the overage out of my tank or discount the propane some and leave it.
Being berated, I stated that I would have to look elsewhere in the future in which David implied that would be the best option. Not a problem sir. You've lost me as a customer and my business that currently already uses you.
I am fully aware businesses make mistakes and errors happen. I have a bigger problem with how you treated your customer and had no real desire to apologize and fix the issue without an attitude. read more
