This is an 18th century castle converted to a bed and breakfast with 5 bedrooms. This is an old facility with electrical wiring that must be at least 100 years old. Rooms with tall ceilings and old decor with wall paper. The owner told me the velvet wall paper in the dining room was original to the construction of the castle. Truly a uniquely decorated castle. There is no air conditioning so it is better to visit when the weather is not extremely hot. It is not a castle renovated to 21st century room standards. Wooden creaking floors throughout except for the grand staircase.
Toilets are fed by electric water pumps that are very loud.
The bathtub was big and the hot water had good pressure and heat.
I hope the pictures capture its old world charm with few modern day touches. Breakfast was good with homemade bread. read more
