ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! Today I was able to take off work to spend the day with my teenage daughter. We stopped my our local Chase bank to open a student account for her but they were busy with appointments. No big deal! We went shopping and I saw this Chase off 99, so we stopped to see. It was 4:00. We were greeted very nicely and then told the banker was preoccupied but it would only be 15-20 min. Sure! No problem! At about 4:20-4:25 a banker by the name of Cecilia came out of her office and said she had been waiting on a 4:00 appointment and wanted to give them a few more minutes. UMMMM?! Now I'm a little confused! I work by appointments and a 15 minute late appointment is a "no show" or will now need to wait if I'm busy once they arrive! I also know that opening an account like this wouldn't take more than 20-30 minutes! So now I'm thinking "why was I asked to wait to begin with??". I watch Cecilia through her glass office walls go to her desk and make a phone call. She then comes out and tells me that her appointment will arrive in 15 minutes..... Now I'm irritated! She is actually telling me that I have not only wasted 20 minutes of MY TIME, but now she is telling me that she has no time for me! Just like the start of this review...this was ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! My husband and I have been Chase account holders for 25 years. We hold several accounts with Chase, and as dramatic as it sounds, in that moment I wanted to pull every penny I have from Chase! Every penny from our business & personal checking, savings, IRA, college savings, etc! I was LIVID! I have never felt so "tossed to the side" as I did in that moment. I will never use this Chase bank location, and I will tell everyone I know! I encourage every reader on here to please go a little further down the road to the next Chase because this one will do nothing but waste your time!! And never make an appointment there with the banker named Cecilia!! read more
