Great customer service, the personal bankers and bank tellers at this branch are really friendly, quick and helpful. It's located conveniently surrounded by a lot of other businesses plus closed to the outlet mall so it's always busy here. Don't come during lunch hours because it's usually a long wait. If you want a quick trip in and out the bank, come here early in the morning or before they close. I'm always happy with their service here so highly recommend it.

For the last year, there have been several problems and it Seems to be getting worse. Somehow the bank has changed how they deposit my money. They now deposit my money whenever they feel like it. My deposit is on the 1st, the 5th, and I have even waited until the 10th. When you call in and talk to someone they act as if you are bothering them!! I even went to my local branch in St. George on River Rd, signed in and waited for 40 minutes while 3 employees were having a discussion about their weekend. I finally got to talk to someone about my direct deposit and they went through my history and saw that for the last couple of years my deposit were made on or before the 26th. However, they told me that things have changed and they deposit the money as soon as they get it. I had set up automatic payment around the 26th but since the bank has changed it has screwed up my bills.I dont understand them. The VA has not changed when they deposit my money. So why has MACU gotten so bad.I will be changing banks as soon as I have my money. Mountain America Credit Union, you havecreally gone down hill fast.

    I have been with this credit union since 2024 applied for credit card 12/31/2025 got 2 hard…read moreinquiries for the same credit card application with in a week this is the worst credit union I have ever dealt with almost 2 years nothing accomplished but me closing my account today 1/07/2026 it seems as though know one has any awareness of what is going on despite of them sitting in front of their computer with your information as if they dont have any of your information i put in 99 percent of the foot work im extremely disappointed in this credit union im a valued costumer at least I thought I will not recommend this institution to anyone

    I am very disappointed and frustrated. I recently had a CD mature. I went into the bank today to…read moretake care of that. I was rushed out the door while trying to roll over a CD and gain information about interest that I incurred. I'm also frustrated because I'm trying to email the bank and I'm realizing there is no way to do so. I'm sending a letter snail mail which is antiquated and not secure. There's no way to see any of my information on the CD now that I've opened a new one, all of that information is completely gone. It was all there just an hour ago. It's completely wiped from the website and the app, and I cannot look at Information, that I should be able to find on my own account. The young man, whose name I believe was Isaiah who assisted me told me I would be able to find this information online, which was not true. He also rushed me out the door and forgot to give me a cashier's check for nearly $4,000 that I had to come back into the bank to get. What I like about Mtn America is the low fees and the high interest rates, however, the service has not been good. I often feel like I'm speaking with people on the phone or in the bank that do not have enough intelligence to give me information about my account. When I asked the young man how much interest I incurred he told me an incorrect number and seemed completely disinterested and annoyed with helping me. Logging onto my account to find out the details and seeing that all of that information had immediately been deleted is UNACCEPTABLE AND ILLEGAL. I want to see a printed-out tally of the interest that I incurred for my 24-month gross certificate that lasted two years. I believe what I earned should be higher. I wanted to follow up and check the interest rates that I was receiving monthly, and the timeline of which I continually added to this CD to double check, but I cannot find that information on my account because it has been deleted after rolling over my CD just an hour ago. This should not be, a customer should be able to find that information indefinitely while their account is open. Had I known that everything would be completely wiped from my account, I would've printed it off myself. What I'm describing is illegal and I plan to make that known if this isn't resolved. I walked out, uncertain about the information I was given. I was not able to give myself any reassurance logging online because the information is gone. Your website is less than stellar (it should be impeccable when dealing with people's money).- I have told CS reps on the phone before about this. Some of the help that you hire either seem totally disinterested or incapable of helping me. I have linked my external banking accounts to my Mountain America account and the information is almost always inaccurate regarding how much money I have in the other accounts. I realize there is delay or lag for those to be updated, but it is always way out of synch. I want to see monthly interest rates and deposits of previous CD. I do not want to be told that that information is no longer available. That is unacceptable and illegal. It is a breach of security for me to have to mail any other account information snail mail. MACU has no way to email a rep via secure message. I cannot get his information from anyone at the bank. Rating F for security, helpfulness, reliability.
