I have a few banks to my name and chase is by far the least customer oriented. So I got covid survived it and in the process ran up a few overdrafts we'll say 5. I wanted 3 of them refunded. I spoke to the branch manager Laurine she wasn't willing to help blamed the issue on paypal and told me she wouldn't help because I wasn't doing my "due diligence" and "rectifying" "my problems". Lets be honest a branch manager has the power to help but she didnt. Sorry I got COVID sorry we're all out here trying to survive. So what are you worth to chase about $100 if they're not willing to help someone with small overdrafts, theres zero reason to believe they'll have your back when it comes to a mortgage or a car loan. Do not bank with them. - before going in for the safety of everyone I did call. They told on the phone "if you don't want overdrafts have funds in your account".... Been a customer since 2015

Error on the ATM like always

There's no point in staying at a bank too long. Besides, opening up a loan. Anyways, it never gets busy here. You're in and out!

Was trying to get help with balance transfer and lady kept rushing saying no one in the store can do it, they have to call the number aswell. Anytime I go to chase for anything they are able to assist me right away and don't need to call customer service, they help me automatically.

I went to the drive up atm to deposit money in the trust account that I am trustee for. I deposited the $11,500 in two parts. First I put in $3500 and then added to that deposit $8,000 more. When I deposited the 35 hundred dollar bills, the machine sounded funny as it was counting the bills. Then I noticed the screen kinda blinked off then on real quick and the $3500 no longer showed on the screen. I had never made a two part deposit so I wasn't sure what the screen would show. Figured it would all show up on the deposit slip. I deposited the $8,000 and the receipt only showed the $8,000 and not the $3,500. We looked around to find the number to call when there is a problem and that ATM had nothing on it to contact anyone. The next morning I went to the bank and talked with a manager about the "robbery". She told me that those drive up ATMs are not under Wells Fargo but a third party. She couldn't/wouldn't provide the number for me to call them saying they would get in touch with them and let them know about the money and after they balanced the books and had that extra money, they would bring it back to the bank. When I got home I called the Wells Fargo main line and talked to them. I told them in great detail what had happened and I was told they would investigate and get back to me. A got a letter about a week later saying that my claim had been denied. I called the executive office and was told that they had watched the video and from their view it appeared the ATM returned my money and that the books had balanced that morning. I got pretty upset and told her "they were lying and I want to see the video and call them myself" I was told no, they were not going to give me the phone number and they would handle it. I waited a week then went to see the branch manager again. when I again said I want to see the video, she told me that I was not allowed to see it. I would have to file a police report and get a supena. I told her that means I have to get a lawyer and file a case against them, and I didn't think Wells Fargo would want that and I have been a customer there for over 40 years and didn't want to start up something like that, they were my bank. Then I called the executive office and told them I had been told to file a police report and get a supena and I didn't think that was right information. He took my complaint and said he would escalate it up the chain and get back to me. I ended up calling him the next week and was told that they are not in the habit of reversing decisions and the case had been thoroughly investigated and there was no extra money in the ATM the next morning. I told him there has to be, where else could it go. I reminded him the deposit was $3500 not $20 and the money wasn't mine it belonged to the trust so they have to find it because I wasn't going away. He told me he would investigate again and contact me, but they rarely changed their minds. When I said I want to the see the video he told me I could not because that had proprietary info on it and I would indeed have to file a police report and get a supena and then the police could look at it, not me. Later that night I read some of the reviews left on their website. Most of them were 1 star and stated Wells Fargo had taken their money. How can a bank get away with that? I will have late fees and missed payments on my credit now and I have no income to replace the money. We need to file a class action lawsuit against Wells Fargo, They have already have been through several of them in the past and the judge always made them pay. I believe he would in this case too.

The trip I made their recently I had to wait a long time for someone and wanted to take a letter from the bank to my mortgage lender, but it took a little run-around, but the assistant manager of the branch finally helped me out. It's getting better.

I have been a customer for over ten years. Friday night i went to this bank to use the atm. There…read moreare three machines by the front door. I put my atm in the first machine and selected $1,000 it made a noise and then said unable to disperse cash....Moved over to the middle one pushed $1,000 and the same thing happened. Moved over to the third and pushed $400 and I received it. Went about my business and the next day when I went to the ATM machine i noticed my balance was $1000 less. I called however it was the weekend so there wasn't anything they could do but put a claim in. They told me i should receive a temporary credit in three business days. Monday i called and they told me that the temp credit was denied and i had to wait ten business days. Its the first of the month bills is due. Tuesday morning i went to that same bank and guess what? The ATM machine was out of order. Went inside the bank and they said "sorry there isn't anything we can do but you can use our phone to call the claims dept." Finally the rep got on the phone and said "we apologize but we have to wait for tech to come out and count the money etc" far as I'm concerned one should have been out there Monday morning. A thousand dollars might not mean much to many but that is just like a million dollars to me. I told her that if i didn't pay my rent by tomorrow it would be a hundred late fee and if Bank of America was gonna pay it. She said unfortunately no. Do not bank with Bank of America. They charge you fees for this and that. They are the worst bank. I didn't want to give them a star but you have too. I want to use bad words right now but that wouldn't be Godly or mature. And at the end of the day its not gonna give me my money. However I am about to file a small claims case and sue for all late fees that I incur while waiting on them to return my $1000. Once I receive MY money I'm closing both my accounts. I had one account over 13 years and the other since 2019. I am going to write on every review platform I can find everyday until I receive my money. At the end of the day once the rep saw that the machine was out of service he should have made calls looking into when they were coming out to fix it and investigate my claim. Its Tuesday almost Tuesday afternoon and this occurred Friday night. You owe them $10 and they want it immediately. Don't be $5.00 short cause it might just cost you $35.00. Bank of America gets a minus 5 stars. Let me say it another way... If I worked at Bank of America and a customer came into my branch. I would greet them with "Hello how may I help you today" instead of "do you have a question" that greeting was not professional. Next once the customer explained to me the situation I would have walked them outside to the ATM and as soon as I noticed that one of the atm's was indeed saying "out of service" we would have walked back in and I would have explained to her the normal procedures and i would have called the specific department inquiring about how soon could we get someone out to fix it because we have a customer that has claimed not to have received the $1000 that was requested and let it be known that it was an urgency. This happened last Friday night and now its Tuesday mid afternoon. I would have made some calls to see if that temporary credit could be issued due to the fact the atm is out of service and that is a large sum of money from their perspective which is warranted. Not because she has been a customer for over ten years its good customer service to assist all customers of all races equally. Far as I am concerned they could care less and whenever they get to it they do. BOA does not care about their customers far as I am concerned. They have to know that it's not okay to keep someone's money, my money that i work two jobs to survive. I'm suppose to sit over here and tap my fingers and pay late fees on the bills that are due NOW and once they refund me my money think that I will continue to bank with them NEVER. NEVER. NEVer and everyone I speak too will know not to bank with BANK OF AMERICA.
