She has seen my financial and life situation change over the years from college and part-time jobs to full time jobs, to marriage and divorce, to buying a house and soon enough a child. The physical growth of this business over the years is a testament to the clientele she is getting and maintaining. I also got at least 10 letters from the IRS over the course of working with them for 5 years for issues that they always denied were theirs. For the past several years, they have increased their costs by about 25% each year for increasingly poor service. They also started charging you to speak on the phone to your tax prep person. I have also been given bad tax advice by them - as have friends of mind who have used them. I'm so accustomed to waiting 2 hours to be seen and have my taxes done, but this time even with my interest income, student loan interest payments, moving expenses, NY state and Iowa State filing, she did out married filing jointly taxes in about 20-30 minutes. The fee is really reasonably considering the complexity, accuracy, and timeliness. I recommend calling in advance and scheduling an appointment to meet with her to prepare your taxes. Ann herself is really nice, welcoming and I highly recommend her. She is fully licensed CPA and professional. I'm always on the look out for a great tax preparer and avoid the big chains whenever possible because those types tend to hire seasonal tax preparers who don't have CPA licenses.
