I read the three reviews listed and am perplexed. This practice has literally saved my life. I was…read moregoing from one specialist to another and not one of them could figure out what was wrong with me. I got up one morning and my husband was very concerned as I was swollen so he took me to the office on Hwy 42 Locust Grove office. They immediately referred me to Emory. I had a blood infection as my body could not void properly. Emory diagnosed me with a rare condition and they were able to get things under control and save my life. Why didn't the specialist I was seeing make that call? If ELFP hadn't I wouldn't be here today. They also take care of my elderly father with such care and compassion. He will not go anywhere else! He fell in my driveway a couple of weeks ago but insisted on going to ELFP to make sure he needed to go to the hospital. I took him by there and they assured him he needed to go to the hospital. He didn't fuss or argue once they told him he needed to go. They patched him up and sent us on our way. They care for my entire family with love and compassion every single time we go in. If you are waiting it is because you didn't make an appointment "OR" there is someone who has a medical emergency. I'm sure if your loved one was in a situation that made them medically needy you would appreciate the staff taking the time to care for your loved one and not worrying about how many people they have to see afterwards. If I have ever had to wait it is because I had to walk in. If I feel bad enough that I have to walk in... I'm just thankful they are there and willing to see me. These folks care about the community and the people they treat. I'm thankful for them and their staff and Thank God for the office in Locust Grove opening back up! DeeAnn Hylock

I went to this office expecting things might have improved since my bad experience here about three…read moreyears ago, but unfortunately it felt exactly the same. After being placed in the exam room, I waited about 40 minutes before anyone came in. The nurse who finally saw me seemed very unsure of what she was doing. She asked me the same set of questions four different times. At the end, she quickly listed off about a dozen symptoms and asked if I had any of them. I asked if she meant in addition to the symptoms I had already said yes to earlier, and she responded with "Oh...so no." She also told me I was overdue for six different shots and procedures. When I declined them, her attitude noticeably changed and she seemed annoyed. I then waited even longer for the nurse practitioner. During the exam she repeatedly asked for permission to examine me -- which I understand is part of modern practice -- but after the fourth time it began to feel excessive and awkward considering that the entire reason for my appointment was to be examined. At the end of the visit, she said she was prescribing five medications. She named three of them, but only described the other two and mentioned that one would be a steroid. When I went to the pharmacy, they only had three prescriptions. The pharmacist told me they assumed I wouldn't want to pay $70 for Flonase and $40 for an allergy medication when both are available over the counter. Also, no steroid was ever prescribed. The whole experience felt disorganized and confusing, and honestly a bit misleading. Unfortunately, my visit confirmed that the issues I experienced here years ago still haven't improved
