Strongly suggest that women/ men of colour steer clear of this place. I had arranged to have a pamper package treatment at this location. I arrived 25 mins early to my appointment. This is common in all of the professional spas I've been to, in arriving earlier that your set time to fill out paper work, have a tea and unwind. The receptionist was at her desk, and then opened the door. I explained I had a pre booked treatment. She asked me if I could leave and come back as it would be unsafe to leave me in the reception area as something could get stolen if I "let a stranger in" and she had to return to the treatment room. I asked if there was CCTV cameras, she said yes. At this point we had been going back and fourth and it was about 15 mins prior to my treatment. Her manager came out and explained it's there policy (although this was not highlighted in any of the documentation prior to my booking) and asked me to come back ten mins prior. I explained my battery had died on my phone to which the receptionist said it was not her problem. With almost 10 mins to my appointment it made no sense to me. I asked for and received a full refund. I could only attribute it to the fact that I'm a woman of colour and leaving me in the reception area for 10-15 mins could result in an arm robbery or me letting in a bunch of hooligans to steal there goods. I suggest if this is their policy to make it clear in each booking to arrive at their designated start time. It's all about tone and how you come across to people when it comes to customer service and the receptionist was extremely rude.

Can I call in 1 hour, called spoke to Dave, who thought about it and said I will have a think and get back to you. I then phoned the NHS helpline and midwife, both said it was fine to use a flotation tank and it was recommended. I called back and told this to the manager, I was told he was busy and would call me back in a few hours. No call all day, I eventually called them at 6.30pm to be told they did not want this type of business as it was a risk to them. Needless to say I am appalled and my wife is very upset as she has been uncomfortable and was looking forward to this. I have now wasted a whole day as the manager was too busy to reply to me and he eventually turned me away anyway. Poor ethics.
