This is possibly the best way to visit. Timely clean and routes are what makes this a great draw

Awesome, and free. Great way to get to Penn Station from Inner Harbor, and MOST of the drivers were helpful.

I've also heard the Purple line will be extended to go down to the Barnes and Noble in Charles Village.

It is quite easy to navigate with good infographic boards in the waiting room, compared to Penn Station in Newark which is rather confusing. The station may also be cleaner than a decade ago when I saw a mouse or rat at Dunkin my first time here. There is a Dunkin and gift shop with sandwiches. They just restored MTA Light Rail service to the station as well and there are plenty of busses, taxis, and ride share to get around. Late at night the Dunkin and gift shop are closed so I tried for a sandwich from Farmers Fridge which vended but then the outlet slot got jammed, so had to get a refund and wait till I was home over an hour later to eat.

When I moved to Baltimore almost five years ago, I was very excited about train travel. That is the…read moreonly explanation I can provide for giving Penn Station a four star review a years ago, and I thought it was probably time to knock it down to an accurate two stars I've taken hundreds of trains from Penn Station now and also spent quite a bit of time at the Amtrak stations in Philadelphia, DC, and New York City. So I'm very aware that Penn Station is the train station with the fewest amenities at the station. There's a Dunkin' Donuts (which opens at 6:30am on weekdays and 7:30am on weekends) and a little convenient store that sells snacks and other items. And that's it. There are a few bathrooms, some seating, and the tracks. And that's the station. It has an attached parking garage, which is super expensive and a pain to enter, because the station's traffic lanes are stupidly designed and unless you're at the station at a really off-hour, there will be 17 Ubers stalled in the only lane you can drive down to get from St. Paul Street to the parking garage. Can you tell that this place has given me just a smidge of road rage? It definitely has. A while back (maybe 1-2 years ago), there was scaffolding all over the historic train station and there was talk of improvements. After it was all over, I couldn't really tell what they'd done. The station has some charm (the stained glass in the entry area), but it's not a great station. I'm glad it's there, because it allows me to go other places, but it's not a great train station. It'll do.

**DO NOT BOOK** I…read moretried to stay here but the owner didn't pay their power bill. I was jerked around with for three hours until I was able to get my bags and book a hotel. I then had to file a dispute through my credit card and text the owner multiple times in order to get refunded. The owner wouldn't contact directly until I had to find their number on their now defunct website. They repeatedly told me to stand by for refund, however it wasn't until I found their account on PayPal that I was able to request a refund. I was again told to stand by multiple times before finally getting a refund. Unfortunately this experience left a disappointing impression of Baltimore for me on my holidays.

Seating for about 4 people at a time. No living room. Does not answer phone use email. RE: lockers. Asked about lockers and was told this hostel has them. NO OTHER INFORMATION. Upon arrival, the man who lives at the hostel said "we have small lockers that do not lock. If this does not meet your needs, we can refund your money,." He needs to be trained in what makes for good "customer service", before he will become a valuable part of the staff. After some back and fourth exchanges, he said "there is a place where your things can be locked up, but you will not have access to them unless you connect with me".
