With two locations on either end of a bike path with beautiful views, this cafe sells pastries,…read moredrinks, coffee, and so much more. My friends and I stopped by on a Tuesday morning for coffee and snacks. The food was decent and we loved the many options to drink. The space is beautiful with a clean restroom for customers. However, there were bees inside and out bothering guests. Also, staff were not friendly at all. it was as if they were annoyed for us ordering I food and eating it at a table for customers.

We decided to sit inside since it was 0C outside. We ordered at the counter, paid for our food, and was given our food to take to the table. The coffees were delivered to our table abound 5 minutes later. The focaccia was warm and had a really good taste. The coffees were done perfectly and had a good taste. We have not tried the cookies. Our daughter, who lives in Switzerland, has eaten here many times and will return.

The good was good BUT there was a piece if broken glass in my dessert (ice cream with fruit) which cut my young and roof of my mouth, but I did not bleed. When I brought it to the attention if the waiter he told me that it was impossible that there could have been any glass in my dish and that the glass did not come from the restaurant. He basically accused me of planting the glass. My friend took the shard of glass to the owner and owner's wife who both work in the restaurant and they also said that the glass was not from their restaurant. They very grudgingly deducted ONLY the cost of the ice cream from my bill. They were not in the least bit concerned about my welfare and did not apologize to me. Shards of glass can be serious and even life threatening if swallowed. It is one thing to make a mistake , but it is another to treat your customers poorly, with such arrogance and have so little concern for their welfare. I will never return to this restaurant and would never recommend it.
