I came to Dr. Wheelock with some extremely "stuck" tissues thanks to years of pregnancy, ingrained sub-pair movement patterns/imbalances, and admittedly "riding it hard and hanging it up wet". Nothing I did on my own would loosen these muscles. I told Dr. Wheelock, "my goal is to keep running" and he said, "that's my goal for you too." He has taken a truly comprehensive approach to reducing my discomfort AND getting me moving in better ways: effective adjustments, Graston Technique, and giving me personalized exercises to do at home. I called because I was suddenly struck with excruciating leg pain that was so bad that it prevented me from sleeping through the night. At the risk of sounding dramatic, the pain was clearly a 10 and over the counter medications weren't helping, an X-Ray showed nothing and I had nowhere to turn but to see a Chiropractor. My initial phone call was met with a sincere desire, on Dr. Hodne's part, to listen to what I was saying and much to my surprise, she offered me an appointment for the very next day! Upon arrival to her clean, modern office, she greeted me personally and took the time to explain, in detail, the entire process. And then, in less than a half hour's time, I felt relief from the pain and she sent me home with a plan that would help me until I saw her again. They let you know what they are going to do for you before they begin the first adjustments, and they teach you a little bit about the spine and the ligaments that run along it (it's very educational). My favorite part is that they don't treat you like you're just a patient, they treat you like you're their friend (I catch myself shooting the breeze with Dr. Brunner all the time). As long as they are there I'll never go to another chiropractor. I'm always looking forward to my next appointment with them.

I first started coming when I was younger after being a passenger in a car accident and having a decent amount of neck and back pain. I still come in the event of injury (rare but more frequent appointments) and for maintenance (regularly but less frequent appointments). There are many chiropractors out there who just crack your back and neck in a couple places then send you on your way. That is not how things are done here. Both Dr.'s D and H have a much more involved approach to treating pain and maintaining health. I think of it like sports medicine. You have heat placed on your muscles to allow them to relax, then the muscles are deeply massaged to relieve tension/loosen tight spots prior to the chiropractic adjustment. There have been plenty of times I've come in last minute in pain after something like going too hard at the gym or dare I say - just sleeping with the wrong pillow (yikes). I always leave with my pain alleviated and with more mobility than I walked in with. If you're looking for a lighter touch like the previous reviewer, maybe ask for Danielle to treat you. She is very strong but can be more gentle. If you're looking to have a stubborn knot in your muscle to be absolutely decimated, don't be surprised when that's what Hubert does. He's very good at it. Don't be a baby. Other pros - accept most insurance, easy to access location, very accommodating appointment times, and a yoga studio with lots of classes I can't recommend them enough

Chiropractic using the Blair method was not familiar to me prior to finding Seeds of Hope (SOH), but it is the right method of treatment for me. Maintenance is key in any treatment, but it is imperative for me and anyone with spine issues. Traditional medicine is limited to Physical therapy, medications and surgical procedures which can be time consuming, invasive and costly. Chiropractic care is a whole body maintenance and preventative service. I pay out of pocket for my care through an FSA as my health insurance only covers for incidental care and not maintenance care. This is proof in my belief of its importance. Dr. Mike has recommended several supplements for what ails me and now I use them regularly. I could go on and on about how much SOH has benefitted me, but you will have to see for yourself.
