THIS IS THE WORST IRRIGATION COMPANY OUT THERE!!! DO NOT CALL THEM!!!! I went to their website to see the services offered as I needed to have my irrigation system motor replaced. NO WHERE on their site did it mention a FEE for an estimate. Rather than schedule on their site, I gave them a call to schedule the estimate & again, was NEVER TOLD about a fee for a cost estimate. So I scheduled for them to come out to provide me with one. 4 guys showed up & only one barely spoke English to communicate with. They provided the estimate & it was much higher than the other three I had. So, I declined their offer & thanked them for coming out. I was then handed a BILL for $80 for a service call- I refused to pay it & told them I would call the office to explain why I felt the fee was not warranted. After calling & speaking with the manager I believed it was all cleared up- BUT NO, I continued getting bills for $80 each month & called them each time saying why I am not paying it. Well now, I received a letter/bill from a collection agency for $90 (including INTEREST on the original $80 bill). HOW CRAZY IS THIS!!! Now I am disputing the bill with the agency. If they had been upfront on their website or over the phone stating there was a fee I would have NEVER had them come out. JUST BEWARE OF THEM & DON'T EVEN BOTHER CALLING- THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS. read more

This company charges $80 JUST TO SHOW UP at your address. Then it's another $120 to actually DO ANYTHING. And then, they try to upsell you with outrageous costs such as $130 to replace a sprinkler head that costs $12 at Lowes. $200 to adjust 2 sprinkler heads! WTF? Never again read more

I was a regular customer of Charlie's Wells for many years. The guy they sent out this time started talking about billing the second I opened the door and ended up charging over $500 for 30 minutes of basic repairs. Never again. That's how you lose loyal customers. read more

I was advised I would be charged $286 to fix a half inch break in my Irrigation pipe 1/2" pipe. The pipe was dug out and fully exposed. I was also told there was $180 assessment fee. How could there be an assessment fee if the pipe was exposed right in front of them. I asked for a consideration and was told the boss said no, twice. I'm 74 years old and they tried to take advantage of me because of my age. Don't do work with people like this. read more

Choose another company. Charlie's Wells is refusing to provide an itemized receipt for a $1,000 rebate, and cut a wire to our landscape lighting. Their lack of integrity is disappointing. read more

in jan,2026, i contracted with them for a shallow well, they came out quickly drilled 4-5 holes and didn;t find any water, i promptly paid them $ 300.00 for the drilling. i contacted them first week of feb. 2026 to let them know my lawn guy stepped in a well hole while cutting the front lawn, they didn't fill in the hole and only covered it over with the sod they removed. kind of camouflaged it. the secretary wanted me to send her pictures, ihad them but i'm 80 and don't know how to forward them so we scheduled an appointment for 2/6/26 in the morning for jamie to come out and see i and fill it, he never showed. i went wway on vacation 2/7-15/26 and upon my return the hole was still unfilled. i called again on 2/16/26 and asked for them to come out and fill the hole, spoke to secretary again and didn't get much of a positive response, will get to it. another week went by, i called again and a gentlemen answered, explained the situation again, he didn't believe it was his hole, explained my lawn guy and ii have pictures, which he said i never sent him, i told him why, i said i paid him his fee for drilling the holes promptly, and i would fill the hoe but wanted a check for $ 100.00 to cover materials asnd my time, or he could come out and fill the hole. he said if he came out and it wasn't his hole he wanted to be paid for his tome, i laughed and said whose gd hole would it be. he apparently got offended and said he was done and hung up. i waited a few minutes called back and secretary answered, all she said is i didn't send pictures as she asked and that was that, thus this company is not very customer orientated and isn't interested in providing customer service. they don't live up to their business model. read more

They installed a shallow well for me and did a good job, but when warranty problems arose, they dropped the ball. They barely have any tools. They returned three times for the same problem to adjust the pressure switch because the well wasn't shutting off. One time, I wasn't around to turn it off, and the housing got so hot it melted the PVC and began leaking. I hired another contractor to fix what they couldn't. All that had to be done was to add air to the pressure tank, and voila! It works flawlessly now. I would not and cannot recommend Charlies Well! read more

Unprofessional, non responsive I would not waste your time contacting them! Contact another company that wants to help resolve your irrigation problems, Charlie's will not respond even after multiple. read more

I made an appointment to replace my sprinkler valves, took off of work to be there and when they didn't show up during their scheduled window I called to get an ETA. I was told my appointment was accidental erased from the technician schedule. I understand that mistakes happen so without complaint accepted another appointment time for the next day at 5:00 pm . The technician calls me proir to coming out to replace my sprinkler valves and shows up about 20 minutes later and sits outside talking for about ten minutes to another worker that was with him. He never actually walks to look at the sprinkler valves on the side of the house and then comes to door and says he doesn't have the Ts he needs, he will run to the warehouse to get them and he'll be right back. 2 hours go by and he hasn't returned so I call him on the number he called from earlier and he doesn't answer so I leave a voicemail just asking if he knew when he might be back. He never came back or called so I decided to be done with this unprofessional company. A different company had no problem showing up and completing the job. read more

DO NOT TRUST Charlie's Wells Irrigation 500 Kirkland Circle Dunedin, FL 34698 727-734-5375 After Charlie's Wells irrigation installed a new pump for our well water irrigation system at our Dunedin property, it became obvious that it was not working correctly--it only pumped out about half of what the old one did. We called the office and made them aware of the issue and were told they would make it right. They had already been paid in full at this point. When they finally sent someone out over a week later, we were told that they couldn't fix the problem, we needed a new pump. The tech called the boss who told him to remove the pump, which he did, but it was never replaced. After another week and several phone calls to the office, we never heard from them until we received bill of $300 for installing another pump, which was never done! They do not answer our calls, and though their phone message brags about what a great company they are, what they actually are is a rip off. DO NOT TRUST Charlie's Wells Irrigation! read more

I recently had some work done by this company to find out why my irrigation timer was not working. After multiple visits, they found out that the wires needed to be replaced which they did but not the way they had described. (I was on vacation when they came out the final time.) I wanted confirmation on what had been done and why so I scheduled a visit from the owner. I have to say I was totally taken aback with his attitude and how rude he was and not at all professional. As he was leaving, he clapped his hands like I'm outta here and I don't have to deal with you anymore. Certainly not what you would expect from the owner who might like to have repeat business from either me or my neighbors. The only positive note is the girl that answers the phone and does billing was the sweetest ever. read more

They are the best! Very professional, exceptional quality of work, always on time, very reasonably priced. The only sprinkler and irrigation company I'll ever use or recommend. I tried about 7 other companies prior which were all horrible. read more
