This is pretty good cheesesteaks! I got the small original Philly cheesesteak and it did not disappoint. All the ingredients gave the sandwich a very delicious combined taste. My mistake was getting a small instead of the large. The staff were very friendly as well. Every time I've been to this location the staff are always happy. The restaurant itself looks clean as well from the outside and inside. Overall great experience!

Honestly I'm not too sure why there are so many insanely bad reviews however luckily for me everything about this quick stop here at the end of the day for dinner went off without a hitch! The second I pull up to the drive-thru window with my family we were greeted by one of the nicest sounding people who told us if there was any questions don't be afraid to ask and to take all the time we needed because we were the only ones there at the moment. We all decided to get something different and for me I decided to get the chicken Philly with mozzarella sticks and a Coke Zero. I will say the only thing that I am not a huge fan of about this place is the food tends to go up in price very quickly, with the final total being almost 45 dollars but it was worth it because the food was so fresh and tasteful! My chicken Philly and the perfect amount of melted cheese and everything was insanely hot even by the time we got back to the hotel a few minutes away. The onions and everything were cooked perfectly and the sandwich was made exactly how I wanted to come without mayo. The mozzarella sticks were perfectly melted and the breading was amazingly crispy and the french fries I had a few of were cooked wonderfully! Whoever was working, unfortunately I didn't get his name, was one of the friendliest fast food workers I have met in a very long time! I will definitely be coming back here when I'm in the area and wanting another chicken Philly!

Fries were pretty good. Crispy on the outside and soft inside

Not too many things sound better together like Philly Cheesesteaks and wings right? I was on my way to Sweet Tomatoes to have a big salad...really ...then I saw the 'Now Open' flags for Charleys. I like trying new places and both wings and cheesesteaks sounded good I so stopped in! I'll get a salad some other day. :oP This is a fast food type place. Order and wait for your number. The menu is not too long with good choices for both cheesesteaks and wings. I got the combo of buffalo chicken philly and fries. The Philly was pretty tasty. The heat was spot on for buffalo style and the chicken was nice and tender. The fries were crispy enough and tasted ok. I added some wings for $2. These were boneless and buffalo style. They were ok. Should have gotten some blue cheese to dip as they were kind of dry. Everything was just ok. The place is new so it was clean and open. Service was quick and food served hot. Overall everything was good but nothing different or extraordinary. I might drop in again to try a different philly one day.

Stopped in here for lunch on a Tuesday at 12:10. I ordered the Old School cheesesteak, which comes with extra meat, cheez whiz (yes, real cheez whiz!) and sautéed onions. The sandwich was served to me in fairly decent time. The bun was nicely toasted and the filling was piping hot. It had a nice flavor and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Stopped here for a quick lunch. Newly renovated and super friendly staff. We ordered a regular Philly Cheesesteak, a Chicken California (a version of a Chicken Philly with ranch) and a small order of original wings Buffalo style. We also had one side of regular fries and on order of cheese fries. Food was served quickly as you would expect from a restaurant such as Charleys. Food was average.....nothing that really stands out. It's a decent place for a quick lunch but definitely nothing to get excited about. Our meal was $27 for 2 sandwiches, 2 orders of fries, 6 wings, and a soda.

This is exactly how I received my sandwich.

I sat at a counter as I was alone. The sandwich was delivered to me. Nice. It was a monster of a sandwich spilling everywhere. My mouth was watering! This sandwich is my second personal favorite and I have eaten it weekly for the past five months! I had to go to the cashier and ask for a knife and fork. The response I got was, "Oh, is it too big for you?!" LOL! My response; "no, but it is spilling out all over the place." Well, with her attitude, (snicker snicker), I decided that it was a challenge. I got half way through and I was stuffed. Holy cow this thing IS huge! Did I finish it? Damn straight I did! The down side was it was like eating water. There was barely any flavor. The bread was cold to the touch... and I would have thought that with all of that meat that it would be scrumptious. No. I grew up in Boston. I KNOW what a good Philly cheese steak is. That week, I had two more sandwiches at different locations. YUP... that's what it's supposed to taste like. I have no idea what was missing in the first mentioned one. I wish I knew because I would have kindly mentioned it to them. By the way. There is a place called Schooners that has served THE BEST Philly sandwich. It may be half the size but for two bux less you'll have the best sandwich that I have found thus far. So full of flavor it made me yearn for Boston again, even if only for the amazing food!

Great location, good parking, clean, perfect cheesesteak place and a very accommodating owner. We went straight in on standard Philly Cheesesteaks, and gotta say - they were stellar. In fact, I liked the Cheesesteak here better than the one at Delco's, which is rated as one of the very best in the Tampa area. They've got the Philly staples like egg and peppers, as well as burgers and dogs. Great selection of sodas and Italian ice, as well as really nice seating options outdoors. Highly recommend!

It was closing in on one o'clock and I was getting a bit hungry, needed to go somewhere new for my first review of the year. Had been downtown a few months back and saw this place. I went in and talk to someone behind the counter, she was bragging up the place. Said to myself I need to try it. I had great expectations for this place because it is close. But I have to agree with Danny J. from Denver and Patrick S. from St. Pete. It is an odd manner which to place order. Don't mind placing it at the register if someone is there. I was not aware I needed to ring the bell to get someones attention, that's okay too. I placed my order, 9" cheese steak w/fried onions...provolone cheese, fries. They call it the platter. And the highlight of the meal was the Hank's Root beer. I grew up about two beers from the Spectrum parking lot so I know a little bit about cheese steaks. What Danny J. said "they don't incorporate the cheese and the meat together they put the cheese inside the bun and then put the meat on top." And that is how mine was made which also made the sandwich a bit dry. What Patrick said, "But when I tell you it was salty -- It was salty! WAY TOO SALTY." Mine too was a bit salty but I thought that was because I biting into a thick piece of provolone. The fries weren't bad but the star was Hank's Root Beer. I'm not gonna tell ya not to go but if you do they also use CheezWiz, that may circulate through the meat better. Peace.

It's not exactly around the corner for me so it took a while to get there, but I would say it was worth the drive. My dining buddy and I started with two cheesesteaks. One with whiz and the other with Cooper Sharp. Both of them were terrific and made exactly to order. We also ordered a medium french fry and onion rings. The onion rings were good, but came out a little more well done that I am used to. The fries were fantastic --- extremely good and very fresh. They actually tasted like potato, which is not a given with french fries from most places today. We also had two fountain drinks, and that was fine. Service is good, food came out fast. This place is not cheap, but the quality is definitely there. As for a realistic cheesesteak compared to a Philly cheesesteak, I'd say it's close but not precise, the roll was fresh but not today fresh and the seasoning was good but not Philly good. Definitely hits the spot! So far, these are the best cheesesteaks. I've had in the Tampa Bay area since moving here years ago, and I expect Delco's will be hard to beat down here. Highly recommended

I ordered the cheesesteak with onions. I also ordered some cheese sticks. My wife ordered a pizza. The following is one guy's opinion: 1. My cheesesteak with onions was terrible. They used a weird type of bread with sesame seeds on it. It was kind of hard too. Also, it was way too much bread for a cheesesteak in my opinion. It was a really bad choice to wrap cheesesteak with. The chopped onions on the cheesesteak looked gray. The whole thing just looked unappetizing. As I feared, the bread doesn't compliment the cheesesteak. I only ate about a quarter of it and took the rest to go. To their credit, the restaurant does have a sign that says if the food is a flop, to return it. I didn't. I don't like telling restaurants that their food sucks. I just don't come back. I took it home hoping to find a homeless person to give it to, but didn't see anyone so I threw it away. 2. My wife is a cheese stick fanatic. She's always looking for the perfect cheese stick. However, the cheese sticks here also were disappointing. The breading on it was too thick and didn't taste good. I think it was a bit overdone on the outside, but not done on the inside. The cheese inside was not melted or close to being soft or slightly melted. It was the consistency of a piece of cheese that was left out at room temperature, soft, but not melty as a cheese stick should be. It was merely a warm piece of cheese wedge covered in a breading that also didn't have much flavor. I think it's because they were overly done. They were on the darker bitter side that you get from frying something too hot and fast yet the cheese was not soft. Were they frozen and that's why they cooked that way? I don't know, seems that way. 3. My wife liked her pizza. I had a slice because the cheesesteak was a fail for me. The pizza was ok. Nothing special. They do their pizza "well done". For some it may be too well done. My wife likes her pizza well done so she liked it. The place was also expensive for what it is and I felt kinda cheated for spending almost $70.00 (not including tip) for two drinks, a crappy sub, a small pizza, and some cheese sticks. I went, I saw, I conquered, but won't be back. Sorry violet stone. Go check out your competition and change some things.
