Cathryn Golden, the owner & operator of Balanced Environments, is not only a world class organizer,…read morebut she is also a Feng Shui expert. She applies her knowledge of both organizing and Feng Shui with the client's needs in mind. I hired Cathryn to help me set up my home office. I was a little apprehensive at first (was she going to tell me I needed a fountain in the corner of my office or that I should put all my files in storage to allow "energy to flow freely" throughout my office?), but I quickly discovered that Cathryn asked a lot of questions about how I worked and all of her recommendations addressed helping me work better. Some of the things that she suggested might have sounded purely aesthetical at first, but then she demonstrated how it would affect something I told her I do, and I saw that everything she recomended had a practical reason and application. I highly recommend Cathryn. If you have any need for a professional organizer or Feng Shui consultant, you need look no further - Cathryn is the person you want.

I hired Monica from Living in Zen to help me organize my closet. Although I am a very organized…read moreperson, I felt like my closet was getting a little out of hand. I do not have doors in my bedroom and all my closet contents are visible to anyone who walks in my room. Monica has an amazingly friendly and positive approach. She came to my home, quickly assessed the situation, and got to work. First, she took all of my clothes and put them on a rack so we could look at everything I had. We went though each item and eliminated those that I no longer wear. I had to take a serious look at items I was holding on to and realize that there were pieces of clothing I had not worn in years. One key aspect to the organization is the use of one style of hanger. Not only did the thinner hangers give me more room, but they made the clothing hang consistently, similar to what yo would see in a designer store. She then arranged all items by type and color. It was a very beautiful and uniform approach. Finally, she arranged my shoes and purses in way that made it look like a storefront display. The final benefit in having my closet organized was that I realized how comprehensive my existing clothing options were. Instead of going out to buy something new, I can easily find what I need in my closet and put together an outfit quickly. In the long run, I have saved money because I don't need to go out shopping to buy new clothes. I can find what I need in my own closet.

At the conclusion of this transformative journey, Erikaa suggested a body paint session with Leslie, which I eagerly booked! Let me tell you, working with these two fantastic ladies on separate yet complementary occasions proved to be one of the best things I did for myself in 2023. During Erikaa's Spiral process, I unearthed deep rooted emotional issues, gained insights into their origins, and made important course corrections in my life. Erikaa's compassionate yet firm way of conducting the sessions ultimately led to a positive impact on several areas, including my family and my business life. Leslie body paint was an incredible treat. Fresh out of the spiral, feeling empowered and rejuvenated, Leslie connected with that energy and skillfully painted my body accordingly. The body paint enabled me tap into my power and express it through dance and a photo shoot (I think some of the photos are right here on their Yelp page!). Despite being a generally shy person when it comes to performances in the presence of others, I felt safe and inspired with Leslie. I hardly recognized myself as I danced and posed like a rockstar! I loved it! Thank you, Erikaa and Leslie!
